Out-Of-Character
Minecraft Account Name:
Cynlet
How old are you?:
I’m 16 years old.
Time-Zone/Country of Residence:
Taiwan. GMT +8
Do you have a good grip on the English language/good grammar?:
Well, my grammar is okay. English is not my first language, I was born in Taiwan than move to America. I often make silly mistakes and spelling error due to my not-so-good typing skill.
Small 2-3 Sentence Description of yourself:
First of all I’m a regular teenage girl. I live in Taipei, Taiwan. In a small apartment with my parents, my two older brothers are in college. And playing RPG is one thing I like to do when I’m free.
How much time could you be on the server weekly?:
Since I’m a student my time is unstable, but I can be on for about 3 hours each day for sure. More or less.
What do you know about Roleplaying? Give a definition of what it means to you:
I’m not sure if I can explain this clearly, but Roleplaying to me is to play as a role. Like an actor, an actor should play their role like they are one. Although in Roleplaying we can’t actually follow a script. Every action we do have to consider what your role would do in each case, just like a knight will protect its people and sworn loyalty to the king. A princess will get kidnapped. Ahem, I mean a princess will be royal and good mannered. Or a farmer will live in a small house and probably grow wheat as a living. In all I think Roleplaying can be act out in many different ways like a gloomy farmer or a happy farmer, but not like a farmer that’s a great mage or a farmer that’s the king’s secret son. Explaining things are not one of my best abilities, but I hope that will do to give a basic idea about it.
What experience have you had in Roleplaying, if any?:
Unfortunately I’ve played a lot of roleplaying games instead of proper roleplaying. I do write roleplaying script as a project I worked with my friends. I do experience a little roleplaying in a Minecraft Roleplaying Server before but sadly the people in there are not really doing proper Roleplaying.
In your own Words, define what the act of Meta-Gaming is:
Meta-Gaming is something that will affect the balance in Roleplaying servers. Like if you invade someone’s house, without knocking the door, kill him or her with a diamond sword, and when you’re character a 13 years old boy, it will not work. First of all if you invade that person’s house because you see their nametag that’s Meta-Gaming. How will you know they’re there if you can’t see their face or meet them in person? Second, think realistically, you can’t just bust people’s doors open, that’s also Meta-Gaming. Third, 13 years old can’t hold diamond sword or bust doors. You’re using your out-of-game knowledge such as seeing people’s nametags, busting doors, and using a diamond sword. When your character are not capable of doing such stuff, but you still do it, that’s Meta-Gaming. In which using the knowledge gap between my character, and me to do stuff that’s out of place.
In your own Words, define what the act of Power-Gaming is:
Power-Gaming is just like your playing with yourself, you’re enjoying yourself here and it’s really annoying against other players. You can put it as selfish. Just like if you see someone knocking on your door and you went out and kill the person then you loot his stuff. After all that you report it as, the player invaded my house, and he threatened me. That’s Power-Gaming. You’re forcing other players to be like what you describe. In general Power-Gaming is forcing other players in order to overpower others. (((Sorry, this one is way shorter then the last one. Out of words to describe.)))
What do you expect this server will be like?:
I expect this server filled with epic creations, where everyone can have great RPG experience. With exciting new Minecraft experience that I never dreamed before.
What other server(s) have you played on and why did you leave them?:
I leaved my server because thief and hackers keep come in this server. Then people don’t do roleplaying anymore because the server is filled with a lot of people who don't take roleplating seriously.
Have you read, understood, and agreed to the rules?:
Yes, I read, understood, and totally agreed to the rules. I never seen a server writes its rules so detailed and sensible.
Do you promise to abide by said rules, and laws? This includes the Server, Forum, and Teamspeak set Rules:
Yes
How did you hear about us?:
Youtube video by Candle340, Bluestoneslab. PotatoOrgy, and Lord of the Craft.
Have you voted for the Lord of the Craft on Minestatus? Which vote number were you?:
I did vote and I didn’t remember the number right…the number I remembered is 74. And I know that’s not possible :/ (Since its reaching about 8,000 votes…)

Signa

Wood elf
[biography (Please make this at least 2 paragraphs long. This must include the history of your character and his life as well as age, appearance and personality, etc.):
As a baby, you aren’t supposed to remember much, but Signa do. Signa remembered the night when she was introduce to this world, the harsh wind roared madly, making the windows shatter, the children cried, the animals panicked, the ground start to shutter, and chaos spread quickly through the entire village. She remembered she stayed in her mother’s arms and stared at the total mess. Somehow, in her vision, oddly everything is just so peaceful, so comforting. Then Signa slowly closed her eyes. She didn’t remember anything after that.
In a peaceful human village of Northern Oren, today the villagers worked in their normal day routine. Only A few Months ago their original home Aegis had shattered due to the sudden appearance of the undead. Few had lost but most of the town folks had survived. Some are seriously injured and some had a few nasty scars, but all are lucky enough to live.
Not much things had changed in the village, everyone start to get over it and begin their new life. Only thing that’s changed is that a new member had arrived here. It was a female Wood Elf, about the age of 2~3, bought in by one of the guards. She was found sleeping in an abandoned carriage. She had bright orange eyes, dark leaf green hair, and a light wood colored skin. “Why is there a baby elf?” the villager chanted. Elves are known for their long lasting lives, but they are also known for their slow reproduction. The villagers decide to keep this girl.
Geon was a kind but strict man. Even though he is only a guard, all the villagers respect him greatly. He was the guard who had found Signa. The villagers decide it was Geon’s responsibility to raise Signa. Although Geon was shocked, he agreed. Geon is a very good father, and a very strict teacher. Signa was very well educated under her father’s care. When she was 12, her father began her training as a guard. Young Signa learned quickly, she began to develop her interest in swordsmanship and archery. After 4 years of training, she became a quite talented archer. Her father sometimes let Signa handle his job, jobs like running an errand or getting supply. Geon also let Signa try out new things such as help farming or sort out books for the librarian. Finally, when she was 18, Geon sent Signa back to Malinor, which is where the elves lives. She stayed there to learn more about her own race and her past. Where she meet her original father and mother. She start to develop a curious, peaceful, and sometimes sarcastic personality.
Life goes on peacefully for Signa. Now Signa is 22 with long dark green hair tied to her back, curious eyes colored in bright orange, and tight leather clothing. As a young wood elf she began to question this land filled with mystery. Finally one day she sends a letter to her father, Geon, saying farewell.
As the wind gently slid through the forest of Malinor, Signa smiled, she knew that she’s ready.

A screenshot of your skin (must be in proper format):
Other Information about your Character:
Signa loves fishing but her fishing skill is rather poor. She loves wolf because they’re great companion for adventure. She gets distracted fairly often. Also as a side note, as much as she loves traveling, her sense of direction is beyond horrible.
Open-Response-Questions:
Whilst traveling from the Cloud Temple you see a small halfling, being harassed by two armed warriors. They appear to be trying to steal money from him, how does your character respond?
Signa let out a small sigh and stares at her surrounding. “Oh, Ibble’s curse.” She mumbled, “Where am I? All I know that fortunately I’m still in Asulon…”
Apparently, she’s been lost for 3 weeks and still hasn’t found her way to Malinor. Just as Signa begin to wander off, a rough voice came from 25 blocks away growled “Give me all ye money!” then another shaky voice whispered, “Please leave me unharmed!”
Curiously, Signa hide herself in the forest shadows, slowly crept closer to the voice. There she saw 2 muscular warriors grab a small Halfling, trying to get some minas out of the poor young Halfling.
As the warrior pull out his sword, laughing, he swings his sword in front of the Halfling. Signa put her hand on her bow, but let it down again. Those warriors are armed with swords and armors. Signa can’t get away with them without leaving the Halfling to die. She does not enjoy fighting, but those two aren’t very sensible by their looks. Signa studied closely to the warriors and the Halfling.
Then she cleared her throat, “UNDEAD!” she shouted.
The warriors react quickly, let go of the Halfling and their expression turn from smirk to fear. Signa quickly fired an arrow towards the first warrior, she catch him by surprise. Then she dashed out of her hiding spot and knocks the second warrior down with a stone sword.
She quickly grabs the Halfling and sprint off into the distance forest.
She noticed a few guards in the distance and shouted, “There are two warriors associated with the undead! Catch them!” The two warriors recover from the shock, furious and tried to chase after Signa. Elves are known for their agility. So the two warriors soon lost her. Moment later the guards capture the warriors and send them to jail.
“Thank you, brave elf. I can’t thank you enough for saving me.” The Halfling said, give Signa a slight bow.
“Not at all, Halfling. Be more alert next time.” Signa said, slightly smiling.
“Is there anything I can do for you?” The Halfling asks nicely.
“Ah! YES!” Sudden changes of tone in Signa’s voice surprise the Halfling, “Please, take me to Malinor, PLEASE!”
Your character wanders into Alras, and comes across a small stall, behind which a well-dressed man is standing. He’s offering various wares, the merchant turns to you and says in a posh accent " 'ello there, what can I do you for today?" What is your character response?
“Greetings to you, merchant.” Signa replied as she took a quick glance on all the wares. She notice a compass and a map of Asulon, Signa quickly checked her Minas and looked at price. She frowns as she sees the price, she nicely asks the merchant to save the map and the compass for her. “Maybe I shall start looking for some jobs, might as well start to make some frieds here. Then I’ll buy the compass and the map.” Signa muttered to herself, she decided to travel again once she has enough minas to buy some essentials.
Whilst wandering in the wilds, your character comes across a small hut, which looks abandoned. Inside it you see a chest containing a few iron bars, and a golden sword. How would your character respond?
Apparently this is an ancient hut that’s been abandoned for a long time. The stone bricks had cracked and vines covered the entire hut. Signa had never seen anything like this. The forest, which surrounded the hut, was covered in long tangled vines. All the trees are larger than the trees in a normal forest, several small water streams located around the tree roots like a tiny river. Signa quickly sketch down the magnificent sight on a piece of paper, and recorded a few side notes on her book of journey. She had found nothing here except a chest in the hut containing a few iron bars, and a golden sword. Signa leaved the chest untouched, because she knew that this hut belongs to the ones who create it from a long time ago, she respects them.
Hungry and lost in the wilderness, you stumble across a small trading camp nestled among the forest, they greet you in the common tongue, how do you respond?
How do those things always happen to her? How did she came off the main road and here she is, lost in the wilderness. Signa leaned on a rough tree trunk, exhausted and hungry. As wind started to blow, and the sunlight dimmed. “It’s night, not good…” Signa whispered. She didn’t have enough energy to fight the creatures of the night, she had to find shelter or she had a small chance of living through the night. Just then a sound of the fire sizzling and voices from far away brightens her hope. It’s a trading camp. Signa stumbled slowly towards the light. “Hey there, need some help?” A soft and warm voice of a child came from behind. It was a human child about the age of 9~10. “I’m a traveler who wish to travel to Oren, do you know where this place is?” Signa spoke in a slow, but fluent way. But the child didn’t seem to understand, just then another voice shouted. This one is low pitched, more like a male voice. “What are you doing to my son!” The child responded immediately, “Father! I’ve found a lady here who needs help.” After a few minutes of explaining, they understand her situation. Apparently the father and the son are the owner of the trading camp, and they generously offered Signa some mushroom stew and a map. By mourning Signa was fully recovered and she begin to travel.
Hear word that bandits occupy the road outside the town in which you have been staying. The town guard have gathered, and are asking for assistance to help eliminate them. The leader of the party is offering a reward for any who offer their support. How does your character act on this information?:
When the leader of the party asks for people’s support, Signa was the one of the few people who wishes to help eliminate the bandits. “It helps if you could offer some wares to us, merchant, since we have to fight the bandits. If we fail all the shops will be robbed. So please.” Signa had been arguing with this merchant for 45 minutes now and that stubborn man still refuses to help. Out of many jobs Signa can be given, she got to collect supplies for the guards. This had been the third shop and no one wanted to help. Signa need a new method to do this. “I don’t care about the bandits, lad, don’t try to get anything off me!” the merchant seems pissed as he growled at Signa. “Well, we are offering a reward for helping, sir.” Signa try to sound serious. “Yes? What reward?” The word reward grabbed Merchant’s interest. “Yes sir, you see, the leader of the party promised to everyone who helped a reward. The reward is great!” Signa is saying the truth. The reward offer to them is great, just that no one wish to risk their life for it. “All right, here. I’ll offer you some food. Don’t get me wrong, you still have to pay for it, but lower price.” The merchant offers Signa some stew, pork chops, and steak. This is working really well, Signa thought. Later on Signa collected armor and armor. She also managed to get a few people recruiting. That day when the party starts the fight with the bandits, it was fairly successful. The leader of the bandits had been captured. People received their reward and happily went home.
