• Have you had any bans or strikes? If yes give a link:  I was banned a few months back for creating an NPC named "Nigguh_Man". There was never an actual report filed, but that is the just of it. It was some late night rp with some close friends, and my absent mind forgot to delete the damn thing. I accepted my ban, and have taken measures to take RP much more seriously since then.
• Why do you want to be a builder for the ET?  I want to be a builder because my last time around as an ET builder, I got to work with some fantastic people, and received great mentorship from the likes of Zarsies, BrandNewKitten, and many, many, others. My building significantly improved, and I haven't had much building to do since my time in salvus. Back then I had a lot on my plate, as a nation leader, and now I am confident I can continue where i left off. I won't try to romanticize my time as an ET-builder; myself, and granted, many other builders did not do much in the way of work back in Anthos. Almost all building we did was on the north ruins prior to launch, and post launch the team was fairly.... stagnant. Again, I didn't necessarily take initiative to find projects (it was hard, as it was, to find a GM to give you perms and babysit you) but I picked up the pace in other regards, like putting on mini-events.

• Please provide an example of a decent sized ruin build (stone or otherwise): The only ruin builds I've ever made were lost back in Anthos, and I never took any pictures of them. They were all collaborative with the rest of the ET, so even if I had any pictures, they wouldn't be applicable since I wasn't the only builder involved. If I am being 100% honest, I am not very good at building ruins - all I know is strictly from watching Kitten and Moogle build over the years. 
• Please provide an example of terraforming:

I haven't done any large scale terraforming since I joined LotC, since most of it (i.e mountains, lakes) are done in pre-build prior to launch. Here are some examples of a small village I made in late Anthos. The trees, and rivers were all terraformed. I also used to run my own server, where I used Voxel and WE religiously. In any case, here are the screenshots.

• Please provide an example of a organic build: Literally none. I can't do it. I couldn't make even the most basic statue. I cannot stress how inept I am at organic builds.
• Please provide an example of a High fantasy build:

• Are you an independent builder, and are you capable of handling all aspects of a build? Yes, I am an independent builder. I am capable of collaboration projects as well, and I do consider myself easy to work with. So long as I have a clear image as what I am working towards, I am a very capable builder, and can handle all aspects of a build. 
• Do you know much about redstone? I know quite a bit about redstone, actually - I've just never found a practical use for it on the server.
• How long does it take for you to complete a build? I binge drink pepsi and blast music and can usually blow through a build fairly quickly (12 hours at most) - even quicker if given access to world edit. If given a clear deadline, I can complete the build before its due date.
• Tell us how you plan on constructing a large build, a medium build, and a small build. Not entirely sure what you mean by this, but I'll take a stab at it all the same

- Large build: I would first construct a small area (a wall, a doorway, etc) of which I would base the rest of the build off of. Then, just add bits and pieces to areas as needed, to serve both practically, and aesthetically. Almost all of my builds end up being large builds, and this is the system I generally use for it.

 

- Medium Build: Medium builds I build strictly for practicality, and then go over for aesthetics once I have a skeleton made up. Rather than make a template, like a wall, I try to envision the most efficient way to use the space I have, and build the nicest I can to fit the area. This helps me to keep myself from going overboard, and building something unintentionally massive. 

 

- Small Build: Small builds are actually much harder for me, since it is a lot harder to build aesthetically pleasing things on a smaller scale. I think that's why I have so much trouble with Organic builds. With small builds, I build until I feel confident that the creation is balanced as both aesthetically pleasing, and practical. 

• Additional details (Do you know how to Voxel? World Edit? Craftbook? Etc...):  I know all of the above like the back of my hand. I could even tell you them different permission nodes for each different brush/command. Craftbook is also a fairly neat tool for redstone creations, that I think is often overlooked.
• Tell me a trick about building (eg: floating torches, custom heads) Floating torches are fairly easy to replicate/produce with voxelsniper, but I am unsure of any other tricks to do so. Another neat trick that requires the use of craftbook is the use of redstone signs. They make it possible to use regular blocks as levers, and therefor, make false bricks for ruins and dungeons. 
• Tell me what you want from the ET.  I really want to work on rebuilding my image as a functioning member of this community, and start feeling useful again. These last few months I do not believe I have been as useful or productive as I was during my first time around as an ET/AT member. I wast to return some purpose to my time on LotC.

I am going to be copying all the forum posts pertaining to the Oren Empire IG onto books, to fill the palace library. The hopes is one day you can read anything from the forums in game. This is obviously a big job, and will require the cooperation and assistance of anyone who can lend it. 

 

If you leave me a link in this thread to the forum post you wish to be copied in game, I will add it to my to-do list. I will do them in the order of what I think takes highest priority. That said, and depending on the size of the post, I will put it on high priority if given a minimal payment of 50 minas (depending on the size of the text, ofc. One man can only type so much).

I'm curious if there is any plugin for bookshelves/books/(you guessed it)libraries. I'm planning on copying all of the important documents in human roleplay section IG onto books, to store in the palace's library, but I don't want to risk hours of tedious copying on the off chance that someone can just take the book, or forget to put it back. Is there a plugin for this, and if so, how does one use it. Also, if there is a way to make copies of a book, I'd appreciate being pointed on how to do so. Cheers,

 

 

(if there is no such way to do what i am requesting, I will try to work with the tech team in brainstorming this out. I realize you techies have a lot on your plate, but hopefully this is easy enough to implement) 

 you, or any of the players that had citizenship in your plot, lose the ability to claim or request citizenship to the plot until another group had the chance. That is, until another group either managed to claim and protect the region, or another group tried to claim the region and failed.

 

 

 

hate to keep trying to poke out flaws, but it's best to have this ironed out before it gets abused - say you and your friends disband the plot, drop the town pillar, and give it to someone else. Then, that other person claims the plot, and once again, disbands it. Then, that person gives the pillar back to you, and you make the plot once again. would that not restart the buffer for activity? How long after you claim a plot do you have to get the required amount of citizens? Still not sure how the different stages work.

I have a bunch of reasons for the -1 but most of them are based on my subjective dislike of your all-around personality.

So I will stick to the objective reasons I think you would not make a good Global Moderator.

 

• You are putting the MT over the other duties of a Global Moderator. Don't apply for GM if you just want to lead the Media Team. 
• You act way to nice in a lot of situations I have seen you in. So much so that it feels exceedingly fake. Then I've seen other times when you've acted rather unpleasantly. (Ban Reports, etc...)
• No offense but you often look to me like a bit of a pushover who cares a lot for his image on LoTC and little for what is right.
• You also look like someone who'd favor his friends.

I'd add more details but I gotta go.

 

I have to go with Spamshok on this one, Zill. I like you - you're one of my best friends on lotc, and you're a chill guy most of the time. But you're too concerned with your image on lotc, and I think it's detrimental. I wouldn't put it quite so bluntly, but the main point is valid.

Primal instinct:

-when around a kha cub (20 or younger) they get a damage buff to their unarmed as they defend their young!

 

I really like this, as someone who has never played a kha.

Theoren Bedevere, having already been attending the emperor's counsel, arrives at the meeting. 

*Theoren would sit back, keeping composed and ever diligent, as he was taught a lord most always carry himself with a certain poise. He prepares a response to the act presented to him, to which he believes he has a fair rebuttal. *

In response to the amendment to the act of disaffeced households - 1462 

Theoren Bedevere, the first of his name, wishes to address any and all grievances his house may have with the empire, emperor, or the privy council. It sincerely hoped that any and all grievances may end here, with the addressing of all the points outlined in the act.

I. In regards to the statement that there had been no apologetic pleadings, or declarations of contributive activity to the realm. The House Bedevere has remained loyal and Pious to its mother nation, The Empire of Oren, and has displayed more acts of valor and valiancy than should be expected of a house, based on the ideals that it be their duty to serve their nation and liege as loyal as possible. After the exodus of 1415 , and defection to the Grand Kingdom by the will of King Hightower, it was King Aron Bedevere who would take the throne, and swear under Oren once more - an act of valor that would lead to his death, and the destruction of the once grand city of Kingston. This courageous act of sacrifice lead to the deaths of many salvian people, and destruction of an entire culture; all this on the ideals that House Bedevere had a debt, and an oath to uphold to its kingdom, and Emperor.  

Despite the disgrace of mankind at the battle of Kingston ((otherwise known as the battle of a thousand alts)), House Bedevere has remained a pious and loyal house to the empire, serving the likes of Lord William Horen, His Majesty King Heinrik Carrion, King Francis Carrion (a tragedy which resulted in the death of house patriarch Leon Bedevere) and finally, until his demise, Emperor Peter Chivay I. It is well acknowledged that in this time of decreased activity, many houses began to faulter. As a way to continue their support and loyalty to the crown of Oren, House Bedevere pledged 100'000 minas, a fortune which was not easily amassed, to the Crown of Oren. This is a donation which has surpassed any before it, and all since. These acts of valor may not fully make up for the lack in activity by the House Bedevere, but to outright deny any "contributive activity" is immoral, and false. 

II. Regarding the false accusation, which stated House Bedevere had not responded to the first act of disaffected households.  A letter was sent long before the deadline of the supposed '3 saint week' grace period. House Bedevere acknowledged the time frame given, of three saint's weeks, and had prepared for its self a defense and appeal. This statement may be used in its place, now that the privy council has sought to backhandedly disaffect the house, and declare its claims 'null'. It was well assumed that House Bedevere had three saint's weeks to respond, and as such, this document has been written and sent one saints week before the aforementioned deadline. 

  III. House Bedevere still expresses its claims to its rightful fiefs, as there is no just cause to deny the claim.  House Bedevere, by request of their former liege, ceased to use any titles affiliated with the Kingdom of Salvus, despite acknowledging their claim to it. Choosing to ignore the lineage and history of House Bedevere came at a great loss of pride, and face, but was taken as a necessary sacrifice for the appeasement of their liege, and the realm as a whole. This does not make House Bedevere's claim to the County of Cyprus, the County of Kingshire, and the Barony of Summerset any less legitimate, as there is no just grounds to revoke their claim to such fiefs. 

IV. The House of Bedevere requests council between its esteemed members, and the members of the Privy Council.   It is believed that counsel with the crown and the privy council would be the best course of action to solve this dispute. House Bedevere accepts this responsibility, and will take initiative in finding a mutually beneficial resolution.

V. The House of Bedevere will distance its self from any further claims on the Kingdom of Salvus. While the House of Bedevere still acknowledges its claim to the Kingdom of Salvus, as was requested of the previous 3 monarchs, it will not exercise this claim. Any attempt by a Bedevere of pure blood, or bastardy of house Siege, to claim Salvus as a kingdom will be considered false, and be met with disownment. This serves to distance House Bedevere from any attempts at reclaiming the lost kingdom, as House Bedevere acknowledges theirs as the sole true claim to Salvus. 

The rumors of a newly reformed Salvus does not give just grounds to bully House Bedevere out of its rightful claims,  distinguished by law. Were inactivity and lack of contribution a reason to completely void a house's claim, our very own imperial house would have been disaffected, along with others such as Therving, Stafyr, and Valois.
