Awesome, thanks for the update Mau, can't wait!

Native, will there be any sort of official discussion concerning main antagonists and protagonists in 3.0? Right now, it only seems like a new map. I think one of the things that made Aegis great was the Undead and the Ascended. Can we expect a "storyline", persay, in 3.0?
I've been wondering about the same thing, just posted a topic in the Ideas forum about it, and I'm sure the Lore and Event teams are working on it.

Ya know what... I want to start getting to work on a transitional world right now. Anyone here that wants to host a server and get started?

Thanks for the update Native, I guess we can make the best of it.

*Lord Green walks leisurelly through the Temple Grounds when he comes across a copy of the note on the ground. "Ahh, finally, just the one I was looking for." He returns to his hall on Winter's Peak and sends a letter, attached to a snowy white owl to the man in Normandor.
"I would be most interested in the music disc labeled "Stal". I would pay the generous offer of fifty minas for such an item. Just attach a reply to the owl here, she knows her way home."
Signed,
Lord Adam Green, Count of Winter's Peak

7/10 Seen on the forums a lot.
Curious, how do you have Old Hat when I don't... I joined about a month before you.

Too bad you guys didn't find Alantopia. It was awsome.
It was pretty fun, I just wish the buildings were a little bigger.

I couldn't agree more with this. Thank you for taking that mess down. Great map though, you guys did an awesome job on it! It was just very disorganized for what it was meant to be.

Regions are done. The map is lovely. Should be online soon.
And so we wait...
(Edit: Server seems to be up, whitelist is not though.)

And so I sit here, ever patient
Wondering only what is the truth.
And so I sit here, ever patient
Could it perhaps be a world full of youth?
Temp Server, why do you evade us?
Temp Server, why do you dispise us?
We just want to be enthralled
We want to be encased
In a world of mystical wonders
And Transvestite Sheogoraths running through the land with haste
Temp Server, why do you loath us?
Temp Server, why must you make us cry?
I wanted only to open my fairy inn,
and serve beer, whiskey, and most importantly pie.

*A Second letter comes in, carried by a snow white owl carrying the seal of a grand tree*
It reads...
"I have recently come across one of your flier, and by chance have just finished construction of a brand new inn and pub in my county. Should you feel so inclined it is still up for sale, for a very reasonable price. The village is rather small at the time being, but is growing fast all things consitered. Should you be interested send a letter back with this same owl, she is trained well and will find her way."
Signed,
~Lord Adam Green, Count of Soldren

MC Name:
LedZep98
Duty you'd like to apply for:
Terraforming / Natural Dungeons
Concepts:
I like to work with the big stuff, and work my way down. Task me with making a valley, mountain, canyon, gorge, whatever, I'll paint the big picture first and make my way to the smaller, and then the minuet details. I have an eye for detail.
Other works:
This is just an island I threw together when I saw the post. I actually carved the entire thing from one massive stone sphere (78 radius).
And this is just a little winter vale I made. I pictured this to be one a popular hunting spot in RP, for Lords and Nobles and Poachers alike.
Do you have teamspeak?:(Microphone not required.)
Of course I do. What kind of LotC player would I be without it?
Comments:
When I build I like to picture the potential of an area I am making. Whether I think it would be suitable for a city, or a farm, or even just to be rped in as is, such as the vale above. Because think of it this way, if an area does not have any rp potential on our server, then what is the point of having it? I believe that every last area of Aegis 3.0 should be interesting and unique, this is an RP server, so why settle for less?
**One last note, keep in mind that I threw those two builds together fairly quickly, and my future builds will be a bit more detailed. Especially the vale.**

I would like to say that I'm really proud of the community pulling together for this, it turned out to be a perfect success, and I would agree that we certainly need to run more livestreams for the server, it's been fun.

I'm pleased with the little highlight Empyreal had, thanks Availer.

*A note is pinned up in reply to the notice in Cloud Temple*
"If you are looking for miners then I assume you are in need of resources, no? Stonedar has an abundance of refined stone, perhaps we could come to a trading agreement? Send a bird to Empyreal if you're interested, I would love to hear back."
*Lord Adam's signature resides on the bottom, along with the seals of both D'hara and Stonedar.*

**Lord Adam is taking a stroll through the sanctuary, when he stops, noticing the note. He begins to write a reply.**
"Why this could not be more perfect! It just so happens that I have recently gotten a lumbermill up and running in my city, and I have quite the abundence of wood. I would be willing to give you the amount you require, and also throw in a bundle of oak. Send a bird to the Empyreal Embassy if you are interested!"
Signed
~Lord Adam Green, of Stonedar
**Pleased with his note, Lord Adam continues on his way, whistling a merry tune as he goes.**

**Lord Adam sits patiently on his throne. He seems a little perplexed by the recent events unfolding, it is a very odd occasion where he cannot exit his own home. Some odd... black barrier with a sign floating in the abyss reading "Failed to connect to server; Connection timed out: connect". He has no idea what this means, he just sits on his throne and hopes this epidemic is over shortly. Perhaps he'll run down to the longhouse basement and grab a keg for himself... yes, that seems like a good idea.**

I like you picture. Shift must see this !!!
Thanks. That's obviously just the basics for borders and such, I'm working on the aesthetic parts now.

-While I do want the next world to be more city based, one city per race seems very limiting. Instead, what about this? One major capital city controlled by the dominant Sub-Race, and then two smaller ones for the two minor Sub-Races. Like such.
Cities:
Human
-Southeron City (Capital/Major)
-Northerner City (Minor)
-Halfling City (Minor)
Dwarf
-Mountain Dwarf City (Capital/Major)
-Forest Dwarf City (Minor)
-Cave Dwarf City (Minor)
Elf
-High Elf City (Capital/Major)
-Dark Elf City (Minor)
-Wood Elf City (Minor)
Orc
-Nomad City (Capital/Major)
-Goblin City (Minor)
-Shaman City (Minor)
Kharajyr
-Kha City (Capital/Minor)
Monks
-Cloud Temple (Capital/Sanctuary)
-The Major Cities are all connected by the King's Road still, so you have to go on the more dangerous minor roads to reach minor cities, so most traffic will still remain in the big cities, but for those looking for a more specific culture to their Sub-Race they will have a home as well. Just something to ponder on.

A second bird arrives for Zayden Blain, the note awkwardly tied to around the poor animal's head as if it was the proper place to put it. Inside the letter was a very simple, but carefully written out request.
((Sorry for the OOC, but I Loled.))

*Lord Adam walks up to the group*
"Now where is this island located exactly?"

Can I get the Skype names?
Also, official Team LotC uniform skins anyone?
