    Minecraft Account Name:

    LedZep98

    How old are you?:

    Nineteen

    Time-Zone/Country of Residence:

I recently moved to the United States from Ireland.

I'm currently in Eastern Standard Time

Do you have a good grip on the English language/good grammar?:

If you were to compare my grasp on the English language to that of Ser William Shakespeare you would find that I fall short of his standards. However I am far above the average when it comes to proper grammar.

Small 2-3 Sentence Description of yourself:

My name is Ben and I was born in Cork, Ireland. I moved away a few months ago and currently reside in Boston, Massachusetts, in the U.S. I've been Role-Playing for a long time and have been looking for a good, tightly maintained Minecraft RP server for quite a while.

How much time could you be on the server weekly?:

About 15 hours during the week, not including weekends. Weekends will depend on many factors for me, so much that it would be impossible to give a proper estimate.

What do you know about Roleplaying? Give a definition of what it means to you:

To me Role-Playing is a way to act out a fantasy as a character of your own imagination. Anywhere from a blood-thirsty orc to a peaceful northern farmer. It's a way to live out a separate reality from your own.

What experience have you had in Roleplaying, if any?:

I've been Role-Playing for years. I was an administrator on several smaller Role-Playing games (With player-bases of around 50 people on at a time), I was a Game-Master on a large Role-Playing server for World of Warcraft (About 1,500 players) And I've even created several small RP games of my own. All of that on top of being an active player on a variety of other RP games.

In your own Words, define what the act of Meta-Gaming is:

Meta-Gaming is the act of IC'ly showing knowledge that your character should not/has no reason to posses.

In your own Words, define what the act of Power-Emoting is:

Power-Emoting is the act of IC'ly emoting an action, affecting another playing in such a way that they cannot retaliate. Ex. "Joey stabs the man in the heart, killing him."

What do you expect this server will be like?:

Well, from what I've seen about the way that you guys run things I'm expecting a very clean, well maintained server with a vast variety of settlements to explore. Hopefully with a thriving RP-Base and Economy.

What other server(s) have you played on and why did you leave them?:

I have never actively played a major Minecraft server before. Most turn me off. I would rather have a small community of about 10 or so people I can trust than 150 that I don't.

Have you read, understood, and agreed to the rules?:

    Yes m'am

Do you promise to abide by said rules, and laws? This includes the Server, Forum, and Teamspeak set Rules:

    Without question.

How did you hear about us?:

    Recommendation from a friend.

Have you previously made an Application? If so could you link us to your last Application?:

    Character Name:

    Adam Green

What Race are you? (You may only be Human, Orc, Elf or Dwarf!) :

    Human

What Sub-Race are you? (note, you aren’t required to have a sub-race):

    Northerner

Biography (Please make this at least 2 paragraphs long. This must include the history of your character and his life as well as age, appearance and personality, etc.):

Adam was born the oldest son of his father, Teranus Green, on a small farm on the northern coastline. Two years later his younger brother, Josh, was born. Their mother did not survive the delivery. Although his father was distressed by the loss he soon turned sorrow into creativity when he began to teach Adam all that he knew. He would take him all around the farm, doing a wide variety of jobs. Anywhere from cleaning the pens to building a barn. Adam caught on fast, and soon mastered all of what his father taught him.

Although he was tired from all the hard work, Adam maintained a close relationship with his brother, which was tightened even more by the loss of their father when Adam was fourteen. The boys were alone now, and had to fend for themselves. After several hard months Adam was able to pick up work at a small Inn & Pub, where he learned how to brew his own ale, an art of which he showed incredible prowess in.

Years later the boys were ready to head out and open their own Inn, which is exactly what they did. Adam is currently working on opening a new inn with his brother at the age of 29. He continues to show his hearty, generous character, which fits his appearance very well. He is a tall, well build Northern Man. Long brown hair and a full beard. His eyes reflect that of which his family was named after, as they are a distinctive emerald green.

    What are your Character's ambitions?:

Adam is not an ambitious man. He simply wants to live his life in peace. He wants his land, his women, his food, and his freedom.

What is your character’s favorite tool? (sword, pickaxe, shovel, etc):

Adam's Weapon of choice is a large hammer, given to him by his father before he passed away. (Represented by an Axe in game.)

What is one of your Character's most skilled talents?

Adam is a brewer by trade. He has mastered the art in fact. He keeps his inn with his brother, Josh, which he built with his own two hands. He is a simple hard-working man. Good with his hands and a good work ethic.

A screenshot of your skin (must be in proper format, if you do not know how to acquire one, copy and paste this link into your browser: ( http://tinyurl.com/Lotcscreenshot ):

    Untitled6859677.png

(I'm working on a new skin, but this is what I am using for now.)

*Edited to include a back view

    Other Information about your Character:

Adam has a very close relationship to his younger brother, Josh.

    Open-Response-Questions

Each and every question must be answered with a minimum of a single full paragraph and entirely in RP.

Whilst traveling from the Cloud Temple you see a small halfling, being harassed by two armed warriors. They appear to be trying to steal money from him, how does your character respond?

Adam is a hearty, generous man. He would confront the warriors and convince them to simply take his own purse instead of the halfling's and to be on their way. Otherwise they would certainly have a fight on their hands.

Your character wanders into Alras, and comes across a small stall, behind which a well dressed man is standing. He’s offering various wares, the merchant turns to you and says in a posh accent " 'ello there, what can I do you for today?" What is your character response?

"Oh, excuse me, I was only looking. I'm afraid I probably can't afford any of these wares. Have a fine day though my friend." He tips his hat and continues on his way.

Whilst wandering in the wilds, your character comes across a small hut, which looks abandoned. Inside it you see a chest containing a few iron bars, and a golden sword. How would your character respond?:

Adam is no thief. He knows that the shack is likely someones home, if not then it at least was at one time. He would respect the property of the owner and be on his way.

Hungry and lost in the wilderness, you stumble across a small trading camp nestled among the forest, they greet you you in the common tongue, how do you respond?

"Good day friends, I do not know you but I am afraid I must ask a favor of you. I am hungry and lost. Please, if you can spare some food and point me to the nearest town I will surely find a way to repay you."

You hear word that bandits occupy the road outside the town in which you have been staying. The town guard have gathered, and are asking for assistance to help eliminate them. The leader of the party is offering a reward for any who offer their support. How does your character act on this information?:

Adam would quickly take up arms, ready to defend the town. Realizing it is his duty to defend his town he does not take a reward, but instead instructs the party's leader to put it to good use in the town.

Anything else you would like to say?:

I'm really looking forward to playing on this server. Here's hoping that I'll be accepted soon enough. Cheers.
