I've been experimenting a great deal with digital painting for a few days and threw this together this morning. What do you guys think? Sorry for the resolution, sadly I had to screenshot the image from photoshop to save it properly, as for some odd reason it kept saving a darker version when I saved the original 1600x900 version from photoshop.

What're your current ambitions for Kais? Where would you like to see him go/do? If nothing, do you have plans for another character?

8/10 Points only taken off for the unusually long neck. Otherwise very interesting. I like the whole native american / elf cross.

Don't forget newly named Barons or characters belonging to a noble bloodline but don't actually hold their own title with overwhelming god complexes and senses of over-entitlement.

To be quite honest that's horrifying.

Hmm... depth is a bit tough to read, especially with the right tree and the stones. My suggestion is to narrow the stones horizontally and try bringing some roots down from the tree - also maybe up the intensity of the shading/lighting on the trees to achieve a bit more cylindrical shape. In the future I'd try to avoid such a soft brush as well, especially on the trees. I see you used something a bit harder for the details on the lily pads, leaves, and stones, so give that a shot on the bark of the trees and at least a few spots in the grass and I think you'll see the detail really pop. What I will commend you on though is the lighting on the druid himself is absolutely bloody brilliant. Seriously, ******* kudos. The actual magic effect was very well done, and I especially like the job you did blurring the left tree to add a bit of a focus effect. Very nice. I am a fan. Keep it up chief.

My understanding of our server lore is as solid as a five year old's game of Jenga. (In actuality yes, I have a very good understanding of server lore. I've been playing on the server for nearly two years now and I've experienced a great variety of roleplay, namely with the Humans but also Kharajyr and Elves.) As for application standards, I won't lie, I have high standards, likely higher than most current AT members, but I know I have to be lenient to some extent, and will oblige to that. Most of all, however, I'll be sure to guide and applicants in the right direction whenever I might deny them. Why you want to be an AT member? I've been a player on this server for quite a long time, and during my time on the server I have only held one staff position, as a mentor. I want to have a bigger role on the server and eventually work my way up the staff ranks, and I feel this would be a good starting point.

It may not be greek - but I've always been a huge fan of the name Auriel for a map.

-------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- House Status - Great House House History House Green is one of the few (perhaps only) Human Houses remaining in Oren that did /not/ originate in the Empire, yet still remains one of the oldest remaining Houses ( Behind Houses such as Horen and Valois) in Oren. The House was founded and brought to nobility in the island Kingdom of Empyreal, in the days of Asulon. The kingdom was a small, mercantile nation ruled over by a single Monarch, King Codrik. The two original members, brothers, Adam and Joshua founded a small settlement focused around a quarry, which was later dubbed Stonedar. The settlement flourished for nearly a decade, growing at a slow, but steady rate, and during this time both Adam and Joshua married, Adam bearing three children, one set of twins, Codrik and Aila, and one younger daughter, Allison - Joshua bore a single child, a boy, Coltius. Eventually King Codrik took ill and infirm in his old age. The brothers were placed as regents in his stead, Joshua being put charge over the island’s capital city of D’hara, and Adam the rest of the island, consisting of countryside and scattered settlements. King Codrik passed shortly over a year later in his sleep, leaving the brother’s total control over the island. These times were quiet, and short, only lasting about two years before the volcano at the center of the island, just above Stonedar, erupted, destroying a good portion of Stonedar and completely eradicating the city of D’hara, rendering the island uninhabitable. Luckily, the brothers managed to gather a good portion of citizens onto the island’s two largest ships ( Also the two largest ships in Asulon ), the Kraken, and the Leviathan. From there the refugees sailed to the mainland, taking refuge in Cloud Temple, living confined on their ships for several months. Desperate, Adam turned to the only place he could think of that would take them in - The Holy Oren Empire. He traveled to the capitol of Arethor in search of the Emperor, Godfrey, who was absent at the time. Instead, he was met by the Lord High Chancellor, Alexander de Stolistes, and little did Adam know - but the Lord Chancellor would hold a momentous part in the House’s history.
