  1. We are just going to have to agree to disagree then, I simply refuse to have any of my nation’s threads in a subforum that someone else has control over and can dictate whether or not it gets archived. I also prefer being able to be organized and let the people of a singular nation click on their nation’s sub-forum and only get given things relevant to them, instead of being overwhelmed by stuff that doesn’t concern them. It’s nice to see you back Aetosian, but mate you are so out of the loop, sorry man.

Every single human “subnation”, as they’re all politically unified

But they aren’t “subnations”, each nation is run independently with zero oversight, so I don’t see why they should be forced to only have two threads each? It’s fine the way it is and doesn’t take more than another click to look in the other sub-forums.

    Character's Name: Groglark

    Character's Age: Ten

Character's Original Race (N/A if not applicable):

             N/A

    Transformed form:

             Olog

    Creator's MC Name:

             Mama Groglark

    Creator's RP Name:

             Papa Groglark

Briefly explain the lore behind this construct or creature:

A physically large and intimidating creature of the uruk race-line, the largest and heaviest of all the descendants but also the most mentally deficient. Whilst large and undeniably physically capable of being a powerhouse in either fighting or labour work, their weak mentality only allows for a singular thing to be on their mind and such tends to be their unrelenting hunger, however can be coerced into doing work for food but is likely to resort to violence for their food if stopped from accessing the food. Due to their weak mind, they are unable to comprehend magic, though like any animal who does something and gets a reaction, they are able to understand that some items that have magical abilities with them by pressing a button can be used but it comes to a risk that they may break or ultimately eat the object.

Do you have a magic(s) you are dropping due to this app? If so, link it:

             No

Do you agree to keep the MT updated on the status of your magic app by using the Magic List Errors topic?:

             Yes

Are you aware that if this creature's lore is undergoing an activity trial and that trial fails, you will no longer be able to play this creature and will be forced to either revert the character back to its normal form (if it was a transformative type) or stop playing the character entirely (if it is an entirely new creature)?:

             Yes

Do you consent to accepting what may happen to this character?:

             Yes

Have you applied for this creature on this character before, and had it denied? If so, link the app:

             No

So it wasn’t just Caranthir that had tried to keep their identity hidden from us to, and I quote, not seem like a biased GM?

That could have been his reasoning, I wouldn’t know why he didn’t just put his discord.

  5. I’m looking at one of the past bans on you and the reason they used ‘-GM TEAM’ was due to the fact that it was something that was discussed by a handful of the team members (the major griefing of Nordengrad), and so in this case that was appropriate considering that it wasn’t exactly a singular member of the team. Protocol actually is for the staff to put their discord in the ban-message unless it falls under a couple categories, which could be whether they feel they will be personally targeted or otherwise threatened by the individual but quite frankly with a team as large as we have, the banned player will find out one way or another.

  6. An aged Mali’aheral wearing a highly expensive custom-fitted suit is read the details whilst within his tall ivory tower, after a moment of silence the million-mina trooper begins to pop his collar, at the surprise of his man-servant. “Oh relax, if I have to spend time with the rabble then I have to look like them, no? – Oh, they don’t do this anymore, by Larihei they have adopted some class then.” The aged elf then returns his collar to its downward state and a sigh of relief became noticeable. “Oh Mister Sullas, one truly misses such a refined gentleman such as yourself.”

“Why have the halflings become so EDGY, they no longer act like halflings!”” said Ted.

((For real though, I would join the halfling if you acted like ******* halflings and not edgy elves. Halflings are sadly not what they once were.))

What do you mean? Halflings for a very long time, since at least Anthos have worshipped The Pumpkin Lord Knox – Who happened to be a serial killer.

Guys, I messed up and now I am in tears. It’s been weeks since I had a big hang with Murlocs at the local cinema and malt shake shop when he said that he was going to visit his girlfriend in Canada and when I said ‘no balls, you won’t’ before he immediately got a plane ticket to America’s Younger Brother - I just want him back, guys please help me ... I am so alone, how do I convince Jaeden to come home and get a meal at the local Maccas with me?

Guys, I am desperate here, been spending all my free-time with rukio and am considering getting a pet rat... I feel myself dying on the inside...

    Jaeden come home!

Wow these are neat numbers! But wait, no mention of creature application races like Hou-zi and the newly-CA’d Kharajyr.

    Any numbers on those? :3

The Application Team only take in the data of those that apply via the whitelist – If there were to be data on creature applications, that would be the Lore Teams job.

How is that a human characteristic? Every other race has the ability to choose what they rp, old or not, at whatever age they choose to. The curses are a joke and the only one that actually limits anything is the human one. How do the other curses affect other races? In no way whatsoever, that’s how.

Then your issue has nothing to do with the aging but the curses zzz

It takes 45 years from age 25 to reach 70s, when the aging process begins, where you’re supposed to start rping old age. That’s less than a year, and it’s a big issue only humans have. You can rp older age with any other race without being forced into it. And if it’s already allowed to set your own aging system, why not change the lore already? Who does it hurt?

If you don’t want to role-play an ageing character then don’t play a human, you don’t get to have everything you’re way – Sorry.

I quoted the quote from the page you linked, yes. It displays exactly what I’m talking about.

That the human age is up to 150 and after the age of 80 starts to age rapidly till they are 100 – Which if you start on the server as a 25-year-old, it takes 75 weeks to get to 100 which is roughly a year and a half of game-play? This would be different if LotC was fresh or hadn't changed this before, but the sheer fact that we have changed it four times in the past, people should just bite the bullet. Besides, the staff don't enforce ages ... So just do your own personal aging system, don't make it the ""official"" one?

  13. Just now, Killmatronix said:

They don’t age until they hit age 70-80. Then they begin to age rapidly.

This passage explains it nicely: “ Nonetheless, while humans can reach the age of 150 as far as we know, it rarely happens, since past the age of about 70 or 80, a human's health starts to decline more and more, many only being a shell of their past selves at about the age of 100, if they manage to even grow that old.”

You quoted exactly what I quoted you – I’m still not seeing the positive in changing the system back to two weeks equates to a year in-game . . .

  14. Just now, Killmatronix said:

Mistype, but what I’m saying is that you cannot play your character when he’s 100 years old. If people don’t like frail old man rp, which I’m sure many don’t because it’s unexciting, it means you have to drop your character. If you start it from it being 20-30 y/o, that means you have less than a year before it reaches that sweet spot of 70, which begins a period of increased aging, or rather, the beginning of frail old man rp.

Humans live till they are 150, which makes 70 middle-age not senile or frail.

    Quote

past the age of about 70 or 80, a human's health starts to decline more and more, many only being a shell of their past selves at about the age of 100, if they manage to even grow that old.

Say you join and make your human around 25 (the most common age is usually between 20-25 but lets say 25), that would mean that by the time they are 100 they would be this frail senile individual you are portraying – That is seventy-five weeks of play, which is basically a year and a half.
