You say 2 years, but it’s not really 2, is it? It’s only 2 if you start rping from age 0, and even then, it’s 114.

Two irl years is 104 weeks, where did you grab 114 from? I never said that you’ll be 100 years old, I said two years is 100 years in the game.

That means that if you start rping with the ripe old age of 20-30 years old, your character becomes unplayable in a year.

Since when was role-playing a 70-80 year old unplayable, especially considering humans live till they are 150 – Hello?

It’s not enforced and that’s good. Not everyone wants to use the same 1 week = 1 year timescale. No need to enforce it.

Not everyone wants to use the 1 week to 1-year timescale – But everyone needs to stick to the lore, not break any of it or you are banned or at least threatened with a ban for breaking lore.

Though – Time is lore, it’s the setting in which we use … So, we ban people for breaking small pieces of lore but sit back and let people just disregard how time works?

What is the point of even having characters if you won't age them? What is the point of trying to have consistency if everything is just going to be inconsistent? What is the point of forcing people to role-play only the ‘chosen’ races that we allow, when we want people to have fun and not enforce things?

  3. What is the point of having age limits on races (ie. humans dying of old age, and elves living forever basically) if they aren’t going to ever be enforced? I foresee the same old LT members comment stating ‘If you see a human who is over the age of 150, tell me and I will slap them!’ but the issue isn’t that they set their age to that (or just with humans), the issue is that what is the actual point of having ingrained the importance of ages in racial base lore if they will never actually be enforced to keep a steady stream of age? Literally, nothing is stopping me from playing a twenty-year-old whatever and every week just change the age back to twenty or not even set the age and keep them forever twenty zzz

here is some music for aesthetic reasons

Anyways rn you can change the age of your characters at your will or don't even show it, hell even the Lore Team said that they can't enforce PKs on people due to age.

Which is it’s own can of worms – What is the point of humans having short lives, and elves having long lives, if even the lore team don’t care if you play the same twenty year old character for two years straight zzz

  5. No, I refuse to go through a fifth change of how the years work goddammit. We already have characters whose ages are so messed up cause years went from 2 weeks to 3 weeks to 2 weeks to 1 week - Stick with the single week and just get used to it, 100 years is 2 years and that's not fast in the least.

    1. Delete personas that do this.
    2. Punish Game Moderators who try to hide the race.
    3. Go on with life.
  7. Whatever petty bullshit people may think we have falls apart when **** like this happens, I am incredibly sorry and at best can only send my best wishes to both you, and Menarra. I hope you both a genuinely better Holidays as to lift you from the low you currently are in.

  8. Demetrius wonders how a man who fled on boat was able to return to post meaningless missives in Nordengrad, walk to Markev without anyone stopping him along the way and then return to the rest of the cowardice flock that claim to of fled but clearly were at the battle.

    The Ascended Hate

If will do you absolutely no good if you take anything people say here as ‘hate’, even people using personal insults (which I don’t agree with) are doing it for an overall reason and that reason can be looked into by simply reading what they had to say. Everything from five word responses and five paragraph responses is still criticism that should be taken onboard. Hate is one of the strongest emotions and rarely is it unjustified to the person, everyone has their own reason and you should read into that reason rather than just labelling it as hate and disregarding it. Just some advise.

imagine not being able to properly respond to someone’s input and instead making an off-handed comment almost entirely unrelated to the argument. i did get one reply though, consisting of the theme song to lol funny jewish man tv show, so i guess this is what i can expect out of druids in the current year + 2

I'm just fuckin' around, not even a current druid anymore.

  11. I have several questions to raise, and if they can be answered I think overall will make this more digestible for the average player. Please don’t respond with a quote of the lore, or ‘read the lore’, I would like to see a thought out response to each question.

    1. What purpose does the Ascended fulfil in the current climate of the server and it’s lore, that isn’t already overlapped by other areas?

    2. How does this rewrite make their purpose more defined for both the individuals who play Ascended and those who witness them?

    3. What issues do you believe is it that made the future of the Ascended unable to continue without an overall reformation?

    4. In what way does this rewrite hope to amend any of the past issues that the past iterations have encountered?

this soul tree fiasco has always been an unnecessary staple of druidism in my opinion, even for how long its been around it always felt like this tack-on concept that let Druids scramble toward the “end game” meme everyone’s been playing off of for like five years. stop looking for ways to immortalize your characters and use what you have to create RP

We already have Soul Trees, so by your very suggestion we should make RP with them.
The fact that you’re complaining about ‘end game’ and immortalising characters, when you used your position as an ET to inflate your own Druid’s presence, power and villainy beyond that capable of the rest of the Druid playerbase, is beyond amusing. Glass houses honey.
