A singular notice is nailed to the noticeboard of Markev.

A simple letter directed to both Lord Rhys var Ruthern and Lord Domonic Grimm,

Open up your eyes, look at the big picture and consider your actions for Markev with great care, because I have serious doubts that either of your current intentions reach past your nose. Political discourse, turned political division, is a common occurrence to the Crownlands of the Empire, however in Haense we are a proud folk who stand shoulder to shoulder and face every outcome as a collective, as a proud Kingdom. This current political climate is causing a sickening poison to root itself onto the morals of you two running, and in-turn you are letting it fester through focusing upon the other candidate’s ability, instead of what you will do for the people and how you will achieve this. Do not forget, that once this election is over, only one of you will be named the representative and regardless of who it is, we all expect the other to hold no resentments and to be selfless in the act of assuring the other is successful.

This is not about petty individualism, this is about the betterment of Markev and Haense as a whole. Regardless of who wins, we expect to see co-operation from both sides.

The denizens of Haense watch on.

  2. “The Dominion isn’t involved in this, besides I concede to Artimec.”

    Toren says simply, walking off.

Genuinely disappointed in the messages thrown at me. If role-play makes you so upset to the point that you think it is acceptable to treat someone else like less than a human, then get the **** off this server.

Toren Camoryn walks into the Dominion with a dull look upon his face, and meaning behind his deep-sage eyes. The young elf has been through much in his years, but never has he seen what had transpired recently. Without a moments notice, the elf marched before the Queen’s throne and without a care for interrupting, demanded to be heard there and then. As the room slowly went into silence, several members of the audience begun to write down what is said, mostly to send others but a singular one was being paid to write multiple of this, to be sent to every single member of the Caerme’onn seed.

“I’ve never been one for speeches, so I will keep this short and sweet. Upon my unattunement, Artimec named me a Caerme’onn in front of many others, I am also a true blooded Camoryn. After hearing of the Chieftain position being handed off, I was hopeful but that hope is now dashed. Caerme’onn’s are not mere mercenaries, we are of the faith, and to join a mercenary group under the pretense of following faith is pure filth. As the only true blooded member left, I proclaim myself the Chieftain of the Caerme’onn seed, and may Cernunnos forever guide me. I also call all true seed members home to the Robin’s Grove. If there is a problem, it’s not hard to find me.”

And with that, Toren walked off, with letters flying off on bird-leg moments later.

  4. The opposition has for years now championed under the name of creative freedom, but is it really freedom?

In a single year alone, players have been forced to stay on the server for ungodly hours, forced into slave labour to build for the small settlements that have formed in the unclaimed territories of the map, all for what? The destruction of centralized role-play, that’s what. You don’t want your sons and daughters to be swept up in the vast plains of badly terraformed freebuild, do you?

That is why, the Charter Gang was formed. To give you smart citizens of LotC a second option. An option that will keep the server clean and beautiful. An option that will bring value to your residence, and bring about worth to merit. Give the working men and women of the nations a good pat on the back for their tireless work, as they have proven to keep their nation, showing that if they can do it, and you want to, then get up and go to it!

For these reasons, and many more, there is only one choice to be made.

    Vote for charters only.

I’m not saying we don’t visit our city at all, I’m saying we just go out occasionally, and by chance, those activity check things might log when we are out banditting/raiding, which isn’t fair for us. We’re the only orc nation, and we deserve a tile just as much as the next nation. And it can definitely be argued we are bigger than some nations.

That’s a completely fair point to make. I imagine if it’s a reoccurring issue a compromise can be made between your NL and the administrator. I think the plugin should be transparent anyway, so the players aren’t getting shafted by 3 AM EST checks.

    4 hours ago, Keefy said:

@Pond So the way these worked last map is it isnt say, once a day. It’s every so often, in a timely manner. I think last map it was every 4-6 hours? It varies. So you should be fine with your current set up of heading out to bandit but then coming back to the city to chill out for a bit. If it was a once a day check it would be very easy to skew the numbers to where activity could be easily faked.

Without going into any detail, from what I am told, it is less than every four hours. It will see your active times, as well as your inactive times, and I believe it will be based on the percentage of how active overall you are in comparison.

  6. Penned by His Excellency, Demetrius Tuvya var Ruthern, Lord Justiciar of the Dual-Kingdoms of Hanseti and Ruska.

    The Haensetian Law Codex

Revised on the 6th of Harren’s Folley, 1687.

The laws transcribed within the codex are binding to all denizens of the Dual-Kingdoms of Hanseti-Ruska, both commonfolk and nobility alike. Similarly, any person or entity that is found in violation to a section within the Haensetian Law Codex (henceforth referred to as the ‘HLC’), whilst within the GOD given territories of the Kingdom of Haense will be subjected to the lawful punishments laid out within the HLC, regardless of their international affiliations. Those with the authority to deal out the outlined punishments lay within the hands of the King of Haense, the Lord Justiciar of Haense, and any authorized individuals of the two, and within the codex the term ‘The Crown’ shall be used whenever referencing any of the aforementioned individuals.

No “Backseat Moderating”. The duty of moderation is left to our Forum Moderators, if you have a suggestion or problem with content on the forums, bring it up to one of our FM’s before taking action on it.
Ex. A player comments on a ban report they are not mentioned in. You should not reply telling them that is against the rules; instead, you should use the report function and a Forum Moderator will handle it appropriately. Backseat moderation only creates unnecessary clutter on the forums.

Why is this discouraged? If a player posts in the wrong section, why can’t a player post and simply inform them to help them? It doesn’t create unnecessary clutter, want to know why? Because one extra post for you to hide is not a big deal.

You misused the word jargon, unless you actually mean that the current expressions of child molestation are despicable within the staff. Though honestly, I don’t get what you (and some others) are on about, I have yet to actually see anyone legitimately defend or protect proven child predators.

You act as if its a really easy task to conquer the whole map. Nobody has conquered and destroyed the rp of everyone else on the server on the past 3 years ive been on it because there are alliance pacts that are put in place in rp to prevent it.

And even when the big nations were conquered by a single nation, the role-play wasn’t killed off.

  11. “I shall return and claim the throne, but not as a King, no that title is far bellow me for I am an omnipotent entity. I am the prophet of the All-Father, the avatar of his will, the reincarnation of his soul, and a GOD. I shall take the thrown as my blood demands it of me, to Nordengrad!” is what Vykk would say, as he stood upon a table being read the notice by his sister, but alas the young boy was but a five year old mute who barely understood a word said to him.

  12. “Ah yes, the age-old play of running a fellow man’s name into the dirt simply so that you can station yourself as morally superior.” comments Demetrius with a chuckle. “Only those who look at things at face-value would see this as the correct movement, however it is clear to most that if you require to push a man down to go up, then you truly are no man at all.”
