  1. This is exactly why Jesus came down from heaven and died for us. So that we would be forgiven. Do you think God didn't know that we would break those commandments? Oh and BTW you got the definition of commandment number 2 completely wrong... it means that we should never make an image to worship. oh and some things in science aren't true. like you know that we used to think that maggots were born from meat... What are the sources that he gives? how did he find this out? how do we know that Joram wasn`t the father of Uzzi`ah? The point is we have no way of finding that out. Thus the genealogy is still relevant.
  2. push the drum down the stairs. Definitely.
  3. Err... note that it gives the genealogy right after that... that way there is no mistake...
  4. If it isn't taken literally, then you cant take any of the Bible literally... so yeah, i take it very literally...
  5. In the beginning, God created the heavens and the earth. The earth was without form and void, and darkness was over the face of the deep. And the Spirit of God was hovering over the face of the waters. And God said, “Let there be light,” and there was light. And God saw that the light was good. And God separated the light from the darkness. God called the light Day, and the darkness he called Night. And there was evening and there was morning, the first day. And God said, “Let there be an expanse in the midst of the waters, and let it separate the waters from the waters.” And God made the expanse and separated the waters that were under the expanse from the waters that were above the expanse. And it was so. And God called the expanse Heaven. And there was evening and there was morning, the second day. And God said, “Let the waters under the heavens be gathered together into one place, and let the dry land appear.” And it was so. God called the dry land Earth, and the waters that were gathered together he called Seas. And God saw that it was good. And God said, “Let the earth sprout vegetation, plants yielding seed, and fruit trees bearing fruit in which is their seed, each according to its kind, on the earth.” And it was so. The earth brought forth vegetation, plants yielding seed according to their own kinds, and trees bearing fruit in which is their seed, each according to its kind. And God saw that it was good. And there was evening and there was morning, the third day. And God said, “Let there be lights in the expanse of the heavens to separate the day from the night. And let them be for signs and for seasons, and for days and years, and let them be lights in the expanse of the heavens to give light upon the earth.” And it was so. And God made the two great lights—the greater light to rule the day and the lesser light to rule the night—and the stars. And God set them in the expanse of the heavens to give light on the earth, to rule over the day and over the night, and to separate the light from the darkness. And God saw that it was good. And there was evening and there was morning, the fourth day. And God said, “Let the waters swarm with swarms of living creatures, and let birds fly above the earth across the expanse of the heavens.” So God created the great sea creatures and every living creature that moves, with which the waters swarm, according to their kinds, and every winged bird according to its kind. And God saw that it was good. And God blessed them, saying, “Be fruitful and multiply and fill the waters in the seas, and let birds multiply on the earth.” And there was evening and there was morning, the fifth day. And God said, “Let the earth bring forth living creatures according to their kinds—livestock and creeping things and beasts of the earth according to their kinds.” And it was so. And God made the beasts of the earth according to their kinds and the livestock according to their kinds, and everything that creeps on the ground according to its kind. And God saw that it was good. Then God said, “Let us make man in our image, after our likeness. And let them have dominion over the fish of the sea and over the birds of the heavens and over the livestock and over all the earth and over every creeping thing that creeps on the earth.” So God created man in his own image, in the image of God he created him; male and female he created them. And God blessed them. And God said to them, “Be fruitful and multiply and fill the earth and subdue it, and have dominion over the fish of the sea and over the birds of the heavens and over every living thing that moves on the earth.” And God said, “Behold, I have given you every plant yielding seed that is on the face of all the earth, and every tree with seed in its fruit. You shall have them for food. And to every beast of the earth and to every bird of the heavens and to everything that creeps on the earth, everything that has the breath of life, I have given every green plant for food.” And it was so. And God saw everything that he had made, and behold, it was very good. And there was evening and there was morning, the sixth day. Are you saying that Evolution occurred in six days? I'm pretty sure no one thinks that... The geniology of Adam to Abram, then from Abram to David then David to Jesus is precise. There is no error in it. Nothing Within the Bible contradicts it. What your doing is conforming Scripture to science, when we should be conforming science to scripture.
  6. I judge no one, nor do i force them to do anything. Why not try to convert people on a fantasy roleplay server? There is no difference between you guys and anyone else out there that isn't saved, am i right?
  7. read my other post. If what i say ends up saving just one soul, it was worth all the suffering in the word. Or arguing for that matter...
  8. err... if i believe in heaven and hell, don't you think i would want to keep as many people away from hell as possible...?
  9. The contradictions part was not aimed at you. It was aimed at everyone else who would take up the challenge. And yeah, I think that we were meant to keep the commandments also. But whether or not you keep them in not what gets you into heaven.
  10. Actually you cant. The Bible gives a clear creation story. God made everything in 7 days. Plus the Genealogy of Jesus to Adam is produced in Luke( I think it was luke... could have been Matthew), and all the maximum it would have taken would be 10,000 years... so No.
  11. I have a question for you concerning Bible scriptures. If salvation comes from a mixture of faith and works, what do you make of this scripture: "For by grace you have been saved, through faith, and this is not of your own doing, it is a gift of God, not a result of works, that no one may boast." Ephesians 2:8-9 Doesn't that imply that you cannot be saved through works...? Works comes from faith. Not the other way around. Christianity is a faith based "religion". Its what makes us different from all other religions. Islam is purely works based. Do this and this and this to get to heaven. There is no mention of a relationship with allah in the Koran. In the Bible, there clearly is mention of relationship. "Love the Lord your God with all your heart mind and soul". This sounds a lot like a relationship to me. Islam is clearly in error. They claim that Jesus was the servant of allah, yet Jesus Himself claims to be Gods own son. The contradictions never end. I challenge you to give me one contradiction in the bible that i cannon explain. Oh and BTW i am a protestant.

  13. His ways are not our ways and his thought are not our thoughts. I cant explain why he didn't jut make Himself happy in a different way, just that He did it this way. Err... the fact is he does give constructive criticism... that's what the Bible is... And yes, if Hitler truly repented and named God his only Lord and savior, then yes, he would go to heaven. In fact if anyone "confesses with their mouth that Jesus is lord and believe in their hearts that God raised them from the dead, than they will be saved". Remember that while Jesus was on the cross, the robber on the cross next to him confessed that Jesus was his Lord, and Jesus responded with "Truly i say to you: today you will be with me in paradise" So in answer to you question, yes, Hitler could have repented and gone to heaven. Remember, Christianity is not a "religion"(I hate using the word religion, because it is really a relationship, but i will get to that later...) of works. You cannot work your way into heaven. It is through faith that your salvation comes.
  14. Think about it. If God made you, he would want you to worship him. He rewards those who do so and punishes those who don't. The reward is Eternal life and the punishment is hell... So that's why we should worship him. Not necessarily. If your talking about those people who failed the test, then no they probably wont. God is just showing them their weakness so that they can try to fix it. As for those who say that they are Christians, they will only go to hell if they do not truly repent and ask God to lead their lives before their life is over.
  15. 1/10 never heard of you either...
  16. God is simply testing them to see if they will be loyal to him. These, obviously, failed the test. You must also keep in mind that just because someone says that they are a Christian, goes to church on Sundays, and such stuff, it doesn't mean that he is really a Christian.
  17. Wait wait wait... what on earth did i do to get into the "Old Hat" group...?
