  2. How long have you been on LotC?: Not more than a week. Desired character name: Conán O'keefe Character age: 14 Brief character bio: Conan would so be a young son of Scotty O'keefe, born into a calm time for the clans, where the spring's winds whispered through the trees, a time when all the animals seemed calm. The hour grew long before Conan was born. His birth was something odd, how the nature was queit and how the waters were still. The first years of Conan was simple, he didn't do much but waddle around and cause minor trouble with the other children, but nothing more than a usual brawl. He grew up to become in liking of climbing trees, and buildings. Nothing made him smile more than to shoot with the longbow he had. His mind is focused on to one day becoming worthy of taking the man's task. He seems to have a good bond with his father, son to father atleast. So many times he fell off the trees and buildings, he's broken his hand a few times which makes it a little unsteady. His hair is always long and red-brownish, leaning towards brown. His skin is fairly pale but at the same time fitting to his features. Even though he is only four-teen he seems older than the average boy. He stands roughly five feet seven but will go into his true size one day or the other. He hasn't changed much in his personality through out the years, he is just a little more honourable and nice. Character personality: He is rather nice to the thought, he has a strong liking for critters of the wild. When he is frustrated or stressed he often get cocky and speedy to the tongue. He dislikes when men or women of a higher rank abuse their powers. For him, if he had to choose; Family, the better, the worse he'd always choose family. He respect his elders and those above him, seeking to be liked in their eyes. He can be rather naive at some points though.

  6. Out-Of-Character Information Please fill out the following questions as accurately as possible, and ensure the essential details are accurate. Minecraft Account Name: Pedocarrot How old are you?: 16 Time-Zone: GMT +1 Have you read, understood and agreed to the rules?: To the fullest. What previous experience have you had in role-playing?: I've had quite the lot of experiance from LARPing and such. How did you hear about the the Lord of the Craft?: I were looking around on the Minecraft forums and so i found it. Link any applications that you have previously made for the server: This is my first. Have you posted this application on the Minecraft Forum? If not, then please do so (link above): Have you read the Human lore, and shall you ensure you make use of it and follow it in your biography?: I will so do. Definitions In your own words define the following terms. Do not take any definitions from elsewhere!: Role-playing: Roleplay, when you take up a role of another being, creature or humaniod, doesn't really matter as long as you keep to your character and his/hers personality and view of things. Basicly; Roleplaying is when you play as another person and not yourself so to say. Meta-gaming: Using out-of-character knowledge to affect Roleplay. When you say or someone says to you that they're getting attack and need help, that's metagaming even if you don't go/get help. Power-emoting: When you use emotes that are over-powered or unrealistic, or just basicly making emotes that is impossible to react to. Example; *Bob slams his sword into Billy's shoulder, making Billy shed a great amount of blood* That is power-gaming, you must always allow players to react to your own emote. In-Character Information: Complete the following biography on your character: Full Name: Vintas Rosen Current Age: 19 Sub-race (if any): Northerner Past / History (include childhood, major-events, etc. 2+ paragraphs long): Vintas was born in Asulon in the town of Ildon as a commoner. He was born with a light brown hair colour, changing through the years to a black-brown colour. His father a resigned warrior and his mother a simple cook. Both his parents were rather proud of their son, even at his young ages. He were born into the rebellion crysis but witnessed little of it. He began slowly in life as most children would - taking care of his parents in need, as they tend to him. He were always happy when he saw his father smile or smirk, or when his mother danced in rythme to the bards' music. Vintas' parents name's were; Anneth and Vilgar, both were married of course. How he chopped wood at the age of ten was most common, yet respected but those around him. They were happy, and happy they stayed.. But Vintas he wanted something more in life, something more interesting - He wanted to roam the lands as an adventurer. So he made up his mind "I will not stay shadowed under these walls." He said his words and sent smiles to his parents, they were not liking the idea of perhaps never seeing their young boy again, but they couldn't of deny his ambitions. He gathered his edible, a wandering staff and a crude sword - which he clearly lacked talent in using it. The first years were hard and cold - frostbite took his left hand's pinky finger. Yet the men and women he met were greeted with a bright smile and kind words. He one day wandered upon a band of men whom looked rather sly. Vintas spoke to them and told them that he only wanted to pass the forest in peace but they denied. The group of men wanted him to come with them to a tavern so he'd get something to eat. Vintas shrugs at the thought but he decides to join in their footsteps. They laughed as they walked to the tavern, but their sly smiles stayed on their lips. As they reached the building they motioned for Vintas to enter, and so he did. He could see a long table stocked with food and drink. He'd grin before sitting down softly "Now, t'ere mus' be a reason wh' you took me 'ere, no?" Says Vintas calmly with a smirk on his lips. The main party leader walks up to Vintas and chuckles "O'course no' feller' t'e lo' of us just saw a hungry man on t'e pat'. An' we don' like to see fo'k die." The man says roughly. Vintas nods slowly as he asks "So may' we all begin' our feast?". The room begins to echo by all the chatter as they move to the chairs and benches. They all eat for hours, speaking and telling stories of old, yet no name were to be said. After Vintas leans back on the chair, having a tired expression on his face the leader of the groups says "Lad, ye' better ge' some rest, eh? T'ere be some rooms jus' be'ind ye, go get some rest." Vintas nods slowly once more as he pushes himself up from the chair "So be it t'en, you 'ave my t'anks." Says Vintas tiredly with a flashing smile. The man didn't respond to him. Vintas reaches the room and opens the door. Inside the room he could see a small bed with a cupboard to the side of it, on it standing a winebottle, a window that was rather big and a rug made of bear fur placed infront of his feet. He walks over to the bed and lays down in it. For hours he lay there, yet he can't get a minute of sleep. Long into the night he can hear a faint conversation outside the door "He mig't 'ave some coin' on 'im .. 'e looks like a travler' travlers always 'ave cold." Say one of the voices as the other reply "Even better, i saw 'im 'ave a sword, an' i'm tired o' killin' men wit' clubs.." "Aye.." Agrees the other man. Vintas queitly reaches for his sword as he hears their chatter. He looks around for a way to escape. "The window" He thinks "I don't want to know if they're going to kill me, or if they're just going to knock me out.. Eighter way it's not ending well." He crawls up to the window, peaking outside. It looks like a six feet drop. As he begins to climb over the window the door opens slowly, at first the two men whisper to be queit but then they spot upon Vintas trying to escape. Vintas looks back over his shoulder and sees the two men. "Take the ploughin' boy!" Shouts the first man. The shout is loud and sweeps through the building.. Men and women wakes up by it. They rush over to the window after Vintas jumps out. He lands on his feet then falls. He crawls backwards before he shoots up on his feet. One of the men begins to climb out after him as the other runs to herd more of them. Vintas tries to run away into the forest but the man manages to grab hold of his leg. He falls to the ground and tries to kick the man in the face as if to make him dizzy. The man cannot stop him as the foot is planted in his face. Vintas is let free and once again shoots up and begins to run. He is halfway into the forest as he begins hearing wolfhounds barking and growling behind him so aswell as a mob. He runs for his life, he runs towards Salvus. Not the smartest idea, which he so knew. The hounds barking begins to fade as he climbs into one of the carriages. He tells the driver to take him to Arethor. At Arethor he rented a room in a taverrn and finally got some sleep, hoping he'd never meet those men again. The cloud temple, that was where he was, the crowd yelled and screamed for them all to go to the docks "The boats will depart! Depart soon!" He begins making their way down to the boats that would take him to Elysium. Once there he did nothing much but roam the landscape. Nothing much happened the time being there. Yet he so heard there was supposed to be a boat departing to new lands sooner or later the year. He was every so excited to roam new lands and find out about it. The day he awaited is here, the voyage to Anthos was finally ready to set sail. The boat trip was not short, it was long and filled with sickness but it was worth it. Ambitions for the Future: He seeks to be a reknown man of the lands. To honour Oren in doing so. Perhaps one day even making his family noble, who knows. But most of all, he wishes to one day reunite with his parents, they couldn't of be gone from the world - They might also be here in Anthos somewhere. Personality: Vintas is a kind hearted man. A man who rather help when he can, and find help when he can't. Yet he can be very angry when he see men or women abusing their power, their rank for bad. He has a light hate for dwarves for no reason really, just dislikes their shortness. He doesn't mind the other races that much really. To point; He is kind, honest, rather happy, he has humor to somepoint aswell. Skills: He is a fast man, fast on his feet, he knows little about sword dancing, he knows some about trading due to his long travels. He knows how to chop wood to a degree. He also knows how to play the lute to a point. Appearance (this must include an in-game screenshot of your skin): Hair: He has thick hair. Hair colour; He has dark brown Weight; 15 stones. Lenght: Six feet one. His face is slightly masculine. His eyes are blue. He has short hair. Any other details you wish to share about your character: Nope Open-Response-Questions Each question in this section must be answered with a minimum of one paragraph which must describe the event in full. Please be as descriptive as possible and do not break character or lore at any point. ____ 1. Whilst in the mighty human capital you notice a dark-clothed figure stealthily making his way towards the Emperor’s palace - he is clearly up to no good. There are guards within shouting distance - what do you do? Answer: Vintas is trading with a man as he spots the character behind the merchant's shoulder. "Often folk walk' abou' in suc' clot'es 'ere?" Vintas asks him. He replies with a shake of his head. "Well, we'll trade anot'er time, eh? I better find a guard' or some'tin.." Vintas says seriously before looking around for a guard. After a few minutes he finds a guard telling him about what he saw, the suspicious man up near the palace. The guard shrugs but comes with Vintas The guard so aswell as Vintas sees the man walking up to the palace. The guard shouts "Halt, i need to speak with you, hooded man." The figure sends a qucik gaze under his hood to the two. "Looks like i' won' be for muc' 'elp, will i?" Says Vintas with a thought in his mind. "Go fetch another guard or two.. Might need them.." The guard replies. Vintas nods and does what he is told, finding just one other guard. When they arrive they see the hooded man on the floor with a dagger by his hand and the guard with a bloody sword above him "He drew a dagger.. as i walked behind him, told him.. To stop.." The guard says in a panting matter. Vintas frows at the dead man before nodding "He mig't o' had tried to kill t'e Emperor.. Better 'im t'an t'e Emperor..." Vintas says. They agree and sends Vintas away from the scene without a word. 2. Whilst wandering in the deep oak forest you come across a large clearing, in which sits a small cobbled cottage. Outside it stands an unstable old man armed with a small iron blade, surrounded by two heavily armed bandits - they appear to be threatening him. You are armed with leather armour and an iron longsword, how do you react? Answer: Vintas slowly walks over, making sure the old man sees him. "Ye better hand me yer gold, old man, before you loose a ear.. or worse" One of the bandits says to the old man. "You young naive lads won't get a gold piece from me!" He old man claims. Vintas creeps up behind one of the bandits and tries to hold him as a shield with his sword by the bandit's neck. The bandit wouldn't realize what happens to him before he has the sword at his neck. The hold man backs away and the bandit shouts "Le' him go, boy!" Vintas presses the sword closer to the bandit's neck "Nay! I'll le' him go if you leave' the poor old man alone!" The bandit by Vintas is unable to move, due to if he would.. he'd be slit by the sword. The other bandit finds himself in a dilemma. "Is gold worth more t'an a friend's life, eh?" Vintas shouts at the other bandit. "Le's make a deal.. I give you.. fourthy minas if you bot' leave t'e old man and me alone, okay?" Vintas suggests. "Just go wit' the deal already, Jerrad!" Says the bandit by the sword. The other bandit agrees to the deal "Wait over there then." Vintas points over to the forest. The bandit walks over there as told. Vintas lets go off the bandit and unclips a small pouch of minas and throws it at him "Now git!" says Vintas and sees the two walk off into the forest.. "I suspect t'em comin' back, old man.." Says Vintan to the old man "So.. So it may be, boy.. I'd better seek refuge somew'ere else then.." Sighs the old man. "Non the less, i'm glad to stand alive.. I'm ever greatful, lad..". Vintas nods with a faint smile "Always glad to help.. But i must continue now.. I've got a long walk ahead of me.." Says Vintas in departing to the old man.. Leaving him to his fate. 3. You are standing within the mighty human capital when you notice a small man standing behind a colourful stall. You approach the stall and notice that the man is selling a variety of general goods - he says that he is selling just about anything and that he has no set prices. He is willing to allow you to haggle and choose prices. What do you do? (Explain: your haggling, items of choice and the discussion that happens). Answer: Vintas' eyes the cooked edibles first of all, due to his growling stomach. "How about.. four steaks for.. twelve minas?" "Twenty." The man suggests "How about Fifteen?" "Fair enough.." Says the Merchant in a disappointed manner. Vintas also sees the fine sword of iron behind the man, knowing his own sword is a dull crude one. "How about the sword be'ind you?" asks Vintas "I'd sell it for.. five hundred minas." Says the merchant greedily "No deal, one hundred." Vintas suggests. "Two hundred." The Merchant replies "One hundred and fifthy." Says Vintas to a final point "Fine then!" the merchant says in a angered tone. The merchant takes down the sword from it's holdren and places it on the table "No scabbard?" Vintas asks. "Only the sword.. the scabbard costs extra." The merchant says greedily once again. "One hundred and eightyfive for all t'en, scbbard, sword, and the steaks." Vintas says. The merchant begins counting "The steaks were.. fifteen, sword were one hundred and fifhty.. the scabbard must of have been..tw- TWENTY!?" The merchant bursts out. "Aye. sounds jus' about fair to me.." Claims Vintas with a smirk on his lips. "How about.. thirty for the scabbard?" The merchant suggests. "Let's just be done with it.." Vintas sighs. He puts the minas on the counter and takes the items he bought. He leaves the crude sword on his back and straps on the scabbard to his belt before leaving the scene.
