  1. Guard forces that leverage their OOC numbers and call PvP default to circumvent valid RP situations are perpetuating the problem of PvP goons.

      You're right, horribly phrased. I'll edit it now. I meant if Guard Forces use their numbers to just call PvP default on all kinds of Roleplay, regardless of whether or not it's quality or not, than they are perpetuating the problem.

      I agree a little bit more, but still mainly disagree. It's not viable for there to be emote combat when there is more than 8+ dudes. Especially considering that most Guards are usually newer players. It's just a recipe for disaster.

      The context behind my statement would make it seem far more reasonable. While I agree that when combat begins to involve more than a small party of people, PvP SHOULD be called, the problem is when PvP is used to circumvent actual RP barriers, like a hostage being held for leverage. IDC how many dudes you have, if the person they want to save is being held with a knife to their neck, there is no reason why they should be able to circumvent that with PvP. Hope that's more illuminating.
