Have you been on any other roleplaying servers?: - I have roleplayed for a while in the RoK server but have lost some interest in it as it has no definitive lore for me Have you applied to this server before? (Please link past applications): - i have not How did you hear about us?: -LB Photo Realism creator What do you think the server will be like? - I hope it will be as good as I hope since reading the lore but I will be flexible since i haven't been onto the server yet. Have you read and agreed to the rules?: - I have read the rules and I do accept them. What’s your favourite rule / the rule you agree with the most?: - My favorite rule is the "Metagaming and powergaming of any kind are not allowed." rule. What is roleplaying?: - Roleplaying is the change of personality, figure, or role in a game or subject to fit a different person, or something social like that. I think What’s metagaming?: - Metagaming is the use of out of game material (such as forums or a guidebook to influence what someone does in said game. What’s powergaming?: - Powergaming is the style of playing a game to maximize certain attributes or traits to make a person almost godlike while ignoring story, lore, and roleplay. Ex. Johnny had just arrived in Winterhelm, he then went and bought diamond armor, diamond weapons, and countless potions. Johnny went and bought a mansion whilst mastering his magical skills in a day alone, then went north to fight against many hordes of enemies. He laughed as he merely snapped his fingers and all his enemies crumble to dust before him. In-Character Information Now you actually make your character - be creative but stay reasonable! Make sure they make sense and that they follow lore. Try to come up with a character that you actually want to play. What’s your character called?: - Nicke Ryder What race are they (and sub-race)?: - Northerner of the human race What sex are they?: - Male How old are they?: - 19 Give us a brief description of their life - their story, childhood, family (Include server lore when writing): - Nicke had a pretty lonely and dull life working the livestock of his families house in the far north of Anthos. His lifestyle didn't change use they moved out to the rough Fringe, and really, the work was even more tough. The unruliness of the area around him made his family paranoid and slowed down all his work for fear of being attacked at any moment. He hadn't got along with many others around him, which were few, and grew up learning how to fight with his sword, Anuklus, though he had it taken from him when he was 18 as rogues assaulted his residence in the dead of night and murdered his family, only his brother-who died a week after the robbery-and him survived, with nothing but the clothes on his back and a general education of the world. He decided to try to head south to the plains and try to start a new life within the farming lands, although he had no idea how he would be able to learn how. Thus, his journey/adventure leads here. What are they like (personality)?: - lonely yet considerate, nice yet fierce, nimble yet arrogant, and most of all, unsociable, oh the divines he has to get out some time. What are their ambitions?: - Nicke hopes to start a life in the plains and to join a farming community, and perhaps once in a while go adventuring to fund a house of his to be made. Do they have any special skills?: - He knows how to handle animals and how to build. Years of handling livestock and maintaining the house has left a deep memory of how to do things. What are their weaknesses?: - He tries to run away from his past, to get away from his family and the town (Rokkerest) in which he lived in. Cannot face his fear of the past. Also the bandits of the world have left a scar on him so deep he cannot face them again. Give us a description of how they look (not a screenshot yet!)?: - Having been scarred on most of his body, he wears a sort of cowl around his face only revealing his dark brownish-red eyes. He wears a old, ruffled red jacket with a large upturned collar with brown pants and a belt. His shoes are gray and he wears a sort of band around both his arms (from his father). Gloves also cover his hands. Anything else you want to say about them?: - He is a bit confused about the situation, anything that happens to him could have a drastic affect on what he does. ((also since I'm a northerner human, could you give me any pointers on the slang of them on your reply since I have not had any hands on experience with them yet? Swear words would be helpful but general slang would be the best. Thanks and good bye.
