The young scarred woman stood distant from her father. Her missing eye and scarred face hidden behind a mask. She looked at the flowergirl and scoffs. As Ramza happily marries another woman she murmurs to herself. "Just another Laurira." she grumbles. She stays for the food, both children close to her. The fair haired Hadarin and the dark haired Serenity. "Friends before family." As Serenity begins to cry about not getting attention, Mika scoops her up and begins to pat her head. "Shhh. We can meet Ramza when he decides he wants to." She turns to find Baden, no longer wishing to stay.

Mika stares at Baden saddened at the news. She shakes her head and holds up a mug. "A drink for my drunkard of a sister." she whispers to him. "May she watch over and repent for leaving you on the street to die." She smiles softly trying to brighten his spirits with jokes and stories about her sister. Her right eye glossy with tears. Mikazuki sits with her children. Her weakening health keeping her from doing much more than being tended to by her children. "Papa..." she murmurs softly as she reads the letter knowing her father was gone. She coughs into a rag, seeing the blood stain the cloth. "Wait for me please."

Mikazuki had slipped away from her home and family to visit Atgaard. Hearing the loss of someone she held dear, she made a point to visit. Her long blonde hair swaying in the wind behind her like liquid gold. Her pale calloused hands tremble slightly around the single red rose she held in her slender fingers. To anyone passing, she would seem serene and calm. "Zir." she whispered softly as she placed the rose on the grave. Closing her eyes she let out a soft breath. "Zir protect Mikael." Slowly she opened her eyes. The blue glass eye given to her by a dear friend begins to glow. "You will forever be remembered Mikael." Her fingers trail across his name as the locket she wore dangled into the sunlight. Tears began to stain her cheeks. "I could not protect him as he did me. Forgive me." She slowly stood and made her way back home.
