    The Free City of Holm had elections this week. The top runners Dor Irongut, Dorin Irongut, and Evan Katke. Dor and Dorin Irongut both campaigned by showing the good work they had done for Holm already. Evan on the contrary tried pointing out flaws, some of which had already been fixed. In the first seat, Dor had just just retained the Consulship well Dorin had blown out the votes and there was no doubt of had he won. The DNN congratulates the two Consuls and hopes they only better the City of Holm more than they already have.

    Just a few stone days ago, High King Garrond Frostbeard, was visiting the City of Holm. High King Garrond had just sat by the fire relaxing and chatting with the dwarves of Holm including Hogarth Irongut. The DNN asked Hogarth Irongut about the experience and all Hogarth had to say was ‘I had a very pleasant conversation with him.’

     

    DNN is official Holm Newspaper

    The DNN is happy to announce that it officially became the official newspaper of the Free City of Holm. A vote was proposed in the Holmite senate to make the DNN the official newspaper. After some debating a vote had happened in the senate. The vote was in favor of the DNN. The DNN is happy to continue reporting on Holm and was happy with this great honor.

    Darek and Duren Hammerfist were happy this stone week when they finally reunited with one of their kinsman. The kinsman’s name is Thoradrin and he was off on a pilgrimage. A smile from ear to ear appeared on Duren’s face when he re-saw his kinsman for the first time when he wandered into the Pick and Boons: Digger Emporium, where Duren Hammerfist had happened to be at the same time. Duren Hammerfist had then taken his kin to the nearby tavern to where they had some drinks together.

         The Az’Adarian state has opened up a pawn shop in the Free City of Holm. The pawn shop is under management of Zahrer Irongrinder, Fili Grandaxe, and Ulhart Grandaxe. The pawn shop offers many runic goods and custom orders. The name of the establishment is very catchy, Picks and Boons: Digger Emporium. Within the first week of opening, the pawn shop had had visitors none stop. Members of the Holmic government have told us they are very excited about the new store.

         Breaking News! Sources tell DNN that The Temple of Az’Adar and the Free City of Holm are going to announce that the Temple of Az’Adar will go under the Free City of Holm. In return for going under Holm, Az’Adar will gain a district inside the city of Holm and the City of Holm will renounce the ‘heresy’ brought on by Kardel Irongut. No officials from either Holm or Az’adar were available for questions.

Along with this, cultist attacks have happened on Holm. Expeditions happen into the Deep Roads constantly, so dwarves of these States should ask their local government for more information.
