What magic(s) will you be teaching?

         Druidic Communion and Control

Summarise the Lore of this magic(s):

Nature's Communion is the art of communicating and understanding the presence of the nature surrounding one's self. An attuned druid is naturally connected to the nature around them--and thus the ability to feel and commune with it comes inherently with the attunement of druids. However, practice and experience must still be gained throughout the Druid's journey in order to fully control and strengthen this bond. The druid may feel the life of the creatures and plants around them,  just as nature will gradually feel and react to the druid's presence should their progress persist. Strengthening this ability ties in with the druid's ability to request actions done in Nature's control. 

Nature's Control is being able to use this communion to request actions to be done by natural plants around them. Naturally, the response of these requests depends highly on the level the druid is currently at. Whether it be the request to alter the state of being of a plant, or their aid in battle--the requests made by druids only become of less difficulty through meditation and practice. Exhaustion comes easily when the requests become grander--though smaller requests may even cause exhaustion to newly attuned druids, who would face more difficulty in coaxing the plants to do their bidding. 

Write up a lesson that your character would give to a student:

Tevi settled upon the branch with the gleam of satisfaction upon her countenance, her hands making grande gestures towards the plethora of  petal lines she had draped across the wood. As she looked down, the exasperated expression on her dedicant's face only gained him more laughter than pity as the elfess continued to ramble on about the importance of tree climbing. 

"Tevi-- you do realise that we came here so that you can give me a lesson, right?"  Her dedicant questioned, and though he offered a sigh the amusement was not kept out of his tone. "This is the second time that you've told me about tree climbing, and the flower petals you put on the branches." 

"Pah! A century younger than me, and still impatient and so stingy with your time." She moved to stand upon the branch, moving towards another one with a practiced swing of her form. "I'm joking. Come, sit with me." 

"You will teach me to commune today, right?" He replied with a youthful enthusiasm, continuing his excitement though he spent his focus on climbing the tree branches. "Will I be able to understand them? What about wolves, will I understand even the wolves?" 

"Oh, calm down. Yes, you'll eventually be able to commune with wolves." She chides him, waving a dismissive hand and waiting for him to arrive on the branch she sat upon before continuing. "The dominion has  several trees with sturdy branches--but look, look upon that small one near us. Do you see it?" 

"The nest with the little birds in it?" He points out with a dry tone in his voice, calming his breathing as he settled on the large branch she had chosen. "Yes, Tevi, I'm not blind."

"Hrmph. Well, it's a nest of baby robins, I'll have you know. And since I'm the Robin druid, I thought it fit that we used this place as a lesson." She tilted her chin up, evidently proud of her planning as she nodded repeatedly. "Anyways. Focus and tell me what the little Robins sing for." She placed her back against the bark of the tree, a picture of wood elven idleness as she closed her eyes--hands gesturing for him to continue. 

"I--" He clasped his mouth shut, shaking his head as he placed his focus on the nest ahead of them. He clasped his hands together, fingers digging into the flesh in his concentration as the faint hue of green came within his eyes. In his silence, his concentration persisted as he stared upon the crying baby robins, flightless as they simply flapped their wings in vain. 

It lasted for a while, the silence in which he used in order to comprehend their thoughts. Nevertheless, he released a sharp--and irritated--sigh as he gently tapped at Tevi's shoulder. "I can't focus, Tevi. There's too many voices and they're so quiet. I keep hearing them from everywhere--they're drowning out the Robins." 

Tevi clicked her tongue, opening her eyes briefly and nodding before closing them again. 

"That's it? You're just going to look at me?  Tevi, I can't do it." 

She opened her eyes with a single brow arched. "Well, you gave it one go. Try again." She shifts to a position which allowed her a better view of the robins, pointing at them though she placed her focus on him. "The lesson for today is for you to be able to drown out all the other voices, and hone in on one. Druids are able to feel nature--we can hear them. But that's no use if we're hearing everything, rather than what is needed.  Your connection with nature is weak, as of now--you need to be able to strengthen it enough that it becomes louder and focused."

"But they're so quiet and mixed together. I can't understand anything." He grits his teeth, shaking his head and returning his gaze to the Robins.

"Then meditate. Practice. Strengthen your bond so that it is not as faint, and learn to hone in on what you desire to understand. Everything is an understandable mess right now--so meditate and learn to organize your thoughts." She placed her hand on his shoulder. "Now, do it again. Find me when you think you've done it, and we'll see how much you comprehend."

Tevi dragged a hand across the bark of the tree--a hand gloved in dirt as she stood near an offering she had placed before an altar for the Aspects.

"Khaine Csarathaire bears the symbol of the phoenix and its flame as his own--he is, in his way, the phoenix and fire made flesh. Let us hope he does not consume himself in flames, yes, Eni? I've not yet convinced that one to give up his shoes." 

Tevi merely offered a final smile towards the other elf before standing, turning to proceed in gathering her flowers and bones.

Lorien, Daeva. His form usually resembles that of a High Elven male. In this form he has green eyes and black hair. This Daeva has since supposedly ‘fused’ with the High Elven male Alliard Izalith. This new guise presents white/silver hair and pale eyes (as expected of the Izalith line) though recent intelligence suggests his eyes to have alternated to bright blue.

"Good Prince. Wonderful Prince." She'd utter. Yet a small part of her was glad to see him be able to relish the freedom of the wild once more, without the toll of the city on his back. " Here's to hoping that Khaine will finally get more tattoos in his newly found free time."
