Amalica was separated from her twin brother at the tender age of seven, and spent the rest of her childhood with no contact other than her frail mother and increasingly maternal aunts. T'ristree passed on when Amalica was a young adult, and rather than live by her lonesome she set off. The clan in which she was born was slowly pulled apart at the seams until such separation rent it to tatters.
