  4. Cedrik sits quietly, pen in hand, parchment upon the table, and inkwell ready to yield its ink. Breathing deeply and uttering a short prayer, Cedrik begins to write, his Lorraine cross clutched tightly in his left hand as he scrawls hastily with his right. A Thesis on Charitable Evangelization, penned by Cedrik Engel, eternal servant of the Holy Father In nomine Patris. A man fed by another is beholden to him that provides food. Such is hardly deniable, even in the sense that a man who tends fields that belong to another is beholden to him who owns the land; for land brings forth food with the labor of the tenant, and thus the tenant is fed by the landlord. This is the manner in which our world is governed. This feudal government over which our ever merciful and most blessed GOD presides provides for a system that encourages loyalty and promotes a mutual understanding of responsibility. For without such system the Holy Orenian Empire would utterly crumble upon its weak foundation, and the Church of the Most High Father would be left stranded upon the harsh landscapes of this Plane. Thus, the importance of the general necessity of sustenance is realized. Upon this revelation, the Church may begin to develop a plan in which the scattered masses of the Pagan world shall be brought forth into the eternal light of our Father, blessed be His Divine Providence. For from the ashes of this broken world of dismal heathens and faltering believers, the Church may yet arise anew, bearing the holy might of GOD upon the mob of the proletariat, and elevate them to a higher standing, one of communion with His Divine Mercy. Therefore I beg the Church, I beseech it, to take up its Holy Standard and, in addition to the multitude of righteous practices it currently exercises, wield the almighty weapon of Charity, and spread His Love to all corners of this Earth, and perhaps the Pagan may begin to realize the falsity of his idolatrous gods, and turn to the liberating light of the Holy Father. Thus I pray unto Him, that he may guide the Church with His Mighty Hand and evangelize this crippled land and the whole world may cry “Glory!” unto the Heavens. In nomine Patris, Amen. Deus Magnus.

  8. What’s your Minecraft Account Name?: Stagger1 How old are you?: 16 Are you aware the server is PG-13 (You won’t be denied for being under 13): Yes Have you applied to this server before? (Please link all past applications): No Have you read and agreed to the rules?: Yes What’s the rule you agree with the most?: Not being able to build "structures that defy the laws of physics, underground or automated farms, floating leaves and strip-mining", because I really enjoy servers that adopt a sense of realism into their gameplay, which makes it far more interesting and challenging. Are there any rule(s) that confuse you or don’t make sense?: No How did you find out about Lord of the Craft?: Just searching Google for "fun mine craft role-play servers"! What is roleplaying?: Acting as a fictional character that is different than yourself, and interacting with others in that persona. What is metagaming?: Doing things as your RP character that he shouldn't know, considering what your character has experienced himself. What is power gaming?: Dummied down, making it so you always win in an often unrealistic matter while roleplaying. Character’s name: Aifric Driscoll Character’s gender: Male Character’s race: Human, Highlander Character’s age: 26 Biography: Aifric was born in a small village northwest of Petrus. His father was a humble blacksmith and barely managed to make a living, and his mother had died during childbirth. Aifric spent his days doing chores for his father's smithing shop, from cleaning the furnace to purchasing small amounts of ore from local miners. His life was fairly uneventful until he was twenty years old. A group of bandits had begun a raid on the small village, and the fields and outermost shelters began to burn. He found his father in his shop arming himself, and upon seeing him his father gave him a sword and a knapsack of food. He told him to run as fast as he could towards Petrus, and to alert the King of the bandit raid. Aifric managed to slip past the marauding bandits and made it to a hill overlooking the town. He could see his father bravely fighting against two bandits, stabbing one through the middle. Alas, the other struck him down and set the shop alight. Aifric wandered for a few days, unable to find the road leading to Petrus. His food was running low and he was becoming desperate. One day he finally stumbled across a small road and he collapsed, exhausted from walking and hunger. He fell asleep but was soon rudely awakened by a small caravan that was passing by. They nurtured him back to health and once he had recovered offered him a job with the caravan. He gladly accepted, and over the course of two years worked his way up through the ranks. Eventually he earned the position of Caravan Guard, and he fought many skirmishes against bandits raiding the party. After four years of fighting and killing, however, he wanted to earn repentance for his acts and become a religious man, helping others. He said his goodbyes to the caravan near the Cloud Temple, and hopes to travel to Petrus and join a cathedral or monastery of some sort to begin training to become a priest. This is where I would begin my role-play experience.
