  1. Personally I don't like the idea of submersibles reaching the server, beyond advanced diving bells or something similar. Even if I were okay with it however, this submission needs a lot more work, before it could feasibly pass I'm afraid.

You haven't outlined the materials needed to construct the various components, nor the processes involved in watertight sealing, which are obviously very important for a submersible craft. Additionally there's no specification for size, weight, crew capacity and so on for such a creation, which is also very important when it comes to balancing this kind of technology.

Don't give up, give it another shot and develop the idea. Perhaps chat with animati crafters about how it could be achieved.

So from what I can see, we have the Strigae and Siliti; two cool vampire variants on their own, but they both rely on elements to overpower their enemy or deceive them using magical means which in itself is cool but leaves them hidden for their own safety. Now, there is nothing inherently wrong with that however if you’re one of the few like me who are interested in finding that kind of roleplay without meta - that makes things a tad difficult. This is why I introduce the concept of the Ludis Sanguis, a natural means to Vampirism with a unique twist drawing a few learnings from my previous attempt at the Arbitrium.

Still, just because a few bad apples in a bunch shouldn't mean that the rest of the alchemy players should have to suffer.  Staff have a lot of restrictions and rules on alchemy to ensure potions are RP'd accordingly and every potion exists to offer a more dynamic and unique niche to RP; what harm is there in adding just another alternative for villainy RPers to pursue?  Especially if this one isn't an instant-death, hidden poison

You're misinterpreting my point. My point is that those who are interested in genuine villainy roleplay already have alternatives, so this potion offers nothing new in that regard, while it won't be used by poor-effort villains at all. Like idc if it's implemented or not, but the degree to which it's 'needed' is questionable and I find it par for the course that it's another rare recipe most players will never get their hands on anyway.

I'd agree with you if I couldn't far more easily just shoot someone with a crossbow/ call PVP and have them die and very directly remove the character development.

What this provides is an alternative to murderhobo RP for those seeking to do villainy, along with a means for characters to self-inflict memory loss on themselves (for instance to forget trauma) and spin a narrative of mystery and investigation thereafter should their unaware character then try to undo the amnesia caused.

None of the groups who routinely do banditry or """villainy""" pvp will use this as an alternative. PVP is substantially easier and has no consequences. This will not fix that problem and the players who are committed to genuine villainy roleplay already have other alternatives.

If you want it for Amnesia: Dark Descent RP fine, but the above is a moot point.

  5. Nivndil remembers the monstrous abomination known as Mother, and her visceral nest of flesh and organs. A steady breath escapes her nose, and she passes into her bedroom, opening a wardrobe. From with she draws a spear with a Lightstone mounted upon it, "Back to work, it seems."

In the depths of the Atoll Grove, beneath a clear starlit sky glistening like far-flung gems upon crushed velvet, a Drui looked out upon the glassy sea as it glimmered under silver moonlight. Far across the strait, cloaked in mist, she could almost see the cliffs of Amaethea and the ships moored there with rich crimson sails. "You have always been kind and fair, ahllir.." she remarked, her breath fogging in the wintry air, "It is good that you have saved some of both for yourself."

Beneath that same sky flecked with silver and gold, there stood a Dwarf within a valley, cloaked in stars as beautiful as those which were set into the inky blackness above, sheltered by green mountains and a lush countryside. "Yea were alwees gud t'me an' mine Feanor.. e'en when we couldn' alwees be gud back." Ashen features grew warm and amber eyes looked up to the treasures of the great beyond, "Ah wouldy liked t'fight 'longside uh Prince.. but s'pose there's still time t'fight 'longside uh frien'.. an' forge toge'er 'neath teh stahs.."
