Llyria talk a good game but do not deliver on what Thomas says. In effect it’s lies. There is never any proof to what he says.

This is just people throwing opinion back and forth with no actual gravity. The war is happening and we are looking forward to the Skirmish next Saturday. Leave your personal opinions at the door, just as I will, and let’s actually create an enjoyable conflict and war for everyone else and promote an atmosphere of logical and good RP for all people involved.

This is special treatment for Llyria @Thomas and you know it, you are hiding behind OOC protection and that’s why you’re hated so much by so many. That’s why you won’t build a wall.

You cannot claim that that you didn’t want it, show me proof. Better yet, show me, if you’re so against the very idea, you asking for it to be removed – or even better still, go delete the sign if you have an ounce of spine left to deal with RP in RP and not cry wolf to the Sky Gods when threatened. I have every belief you asked for this ooc protection.

I would ignore that sign, as should everyone else, and keep raiding Llyria. They should have to follow the same rules as everyone else. Raid it more. What a farce this is, and the Moderators involved should be utterly ashamed.

We are building a wall. I’ve been in the process of moving from the United Kingdom to the United States, and I have not had access to a PC for a while. Due to my real life financial situation we have not had a build server for a few weeks and as such have not been able to begin the design on a wall.

There is a massive difference between understanding the reason behind something and being directly opposed. I don’t care about the sign,  but other people in Llyria do. I care about my playerbase, and making sure they aren’t being harassed back to back and having no time to RP even in the slightest, or RP the aftermath or fallout of the situation to begin with is something I will not allow.

You can believe what you want, Harold, I have not personally been in talks with any Moderator regarding cooldowns, and you can go and ask every single one of them.

Ngl ur city is super easily raided, no walls n stuff. Maybe if u had walls and a gate u would be able to deal with petty bandits more easily without requiring moderation assistance.. just saying....

100%, and we’re looking into stuff like that. The only time the mods get involved are when it’s bleeding into ooc and people are screaming and shouting obscenities. Either way, apologies if it felt like I was coming at you or Flemish for my response here, just wanted to clear some bits up from my end. I get the point of the post, though. We’ve derailed it a little so I’ll stop responding and let people continue get back to their discussion on the topic at hand!

  4. 3 minutes ago, Haseroth said:

Once again thomas, you completely miss the point of flemish’s post. She isn’t complaining about pvp. She’s complaining because her kidnapping rp was forced to be voided on the basis of some magical barrier sign. It makes no sense. I get that your guards might be tired from all the raiding but considering all the activity you have, it honestly shouldnt be hard for you to find more guards to cycle them on shifts. I hate to say it but if u cant deal with two people then idk how ur gonna manage to fight the coalition.

Yeah no I completely understand Flemish and your points respectively, I was responding to the points raised where people are highlighting that this is some form of special treatment to Llyria. I know that my nation has problems and that we should beable to handle a group like that, and more often than not we do. The problem I’m trying to highlight, and the reason for these cooldowns in the first place, are raids that happen purely to disrupt and start screaming in OOC as opposed to actually providing RP or contributing to the conflict rp experience. I wasn’t trying to imply that is what Flemish was doing at all.

  5. Just now, Haseroth said:

You’re at war with 3 or more nations including several other smaller groups. You will get raided constantly, that’s apart of wars. Deal with raids on a raid by raid basis rather than ban all of them.

I’m fully aware of our situation, buddy, and I’m not arguing that. We do deal with raids. I am not a Moderator, nor do we any staff support of people who just ban or target people.

There is a massive difference between promoting enjoyable conflict roleplay and pvp for both parties, and being unable to breathe or even type an emote because you’re consistently being baragged. The Conflict Rules were adapted and changed by @Telanirfor this very reason. I love PvP, we all do, but this is a Roleplay Server and at the bottom line, the storyline and players enjoyment are what’s important. PvP plays a massive role in that, and I agree with that completely, but the enjoyable part of conflict is actually being able to roleplay the effects of such and promote an enjoyable conflict experience for everyone involved. That’s not possible when you’re being raided every 2 seconds.

  6. Further to that, we didn’t ask for this rule change. I personally think a 2 day cooldown from all banditry is dumb and does nothing but prohibit roleplay and conflict. But, there is a middle ground here. Consistently attacking a playerbase consistently and not giving anyone time to RP whatsoever, and screaming in OOC is why rules like this come about.

Do you think that I’m in a chat with the Admins and start crying whenever Llyria gets attacked? I enjoy conflict, and I like to promote is as much as is possible without completely destroying roleplay. This came about as a response to people openly harassing and not giving any space to breathe in the slightest by circumventing conflict rules. There is a ‘good faith’ clause in there for a reason. We are not babied, coddled, or singled out in any fashion. The only reason that Moderation is making rulings like this is because we are the only playerbase at this time being attacked consistently every 20 minutes by 2-3 man bandit groups.

    Just now, Haseroth said:

Are you not the ones generalising though, by getting an indefinite banditry cooldown you not only prevent bad banditry to happen, you also prevent good ones too. If that’s not putting all banditry in the same category then idk what is. Mods dont put cooldowns on nations unless they are specifically asked to by officers/ leaders in said nation. If you actually had nothing to do with it then contact the moderators and get them to remove it. It’s dumb that llyria gets to enjoy total peace from everything bad when every other nations has/had to deal with both good and bad bandits since forever now.

We don’t ask for this. We didn’t say to the mods “Hey man, can you give us infinite protection?”. Moderators are called when people are being harassive and causing trouble, and openly circumventing the rules. That is when the cooldowns are applied. We do not enjoy total peace from everything bad, not even in the slightest.

  7. 41 minutes ago, HurferDurfer1 said:

pitiful how coddled and babied llyria is, you harbor the most evil creatures and then get surprised when every other nations says ‘hey, thats bad’and does something about it

You know we don’t ask for any special treatment, right? Like none of the leadership is shouting or arguing, and in fact actually welcome conflict and people raiding?

I don’t know too much about the banditry cooldowns, I only know that, from Llyria’s perspective, we had 3 man raiders coming in and being OOCly disruptive and not RPing or providing any conflict one after another for days. Barely if any RP, and being raid baited more than 5 times within the span of 1 hour was not promoting any Roleplay in the slightest.

We are, and always have been, open to conflict. Almost every single time someone has contacted me asking if they can raid, I’ve said yes. We’ve openly skirmished, and are welcoming of the war that’s on our doorstep.

    Please stop generalising.

    Spoiler

    1. From the CT, take the left road and follow it until you reach Sutica. From there, continue forward and follow the road to Aegrothond. You should, at some point, find yourself here:

    2. Continue on the road forward, do not go left. After a little bit more of walking, you’ll find yourself here. Follow the road to the left, and cross the river you see on the left side of the image.

    3. After crossing the river, you’ll find another post like this that leads you towards Llyria. Follow that, and at some point you’ll come across a huge cave in a mountain. Head through that!

  10. From the davenport of the Empyrion of the Concord

”Dear Dimaethor Visaj, and the good people of the Silver State of Haelun’or.

I hope you are doing well. After consideration of your missive, I figured that I’d deliver a succinct reply to save you waiting on the edge  your seats.

I’ll cut to the point and address your ‘terms’ one by one.

    The Extradition of Dark Magi

As much as I’d love to bring forth each of these individuals to you, only one of them is even a Denizen of Llyria and as such the rest cannot be extradited to you. The Lady Overseer, Cyrene, is the only being of your list who exists within my borders without scrutiny. If you wish for her to be extradited to your great city, I want an appropriate reason as to why she is deserving of punishment. What crimes has she committed to you and your people? – As for those others on your list, if they are found within the city they will be apprehended and dragged to the Silver State immediately.

The Erection of a Memorial for Gusten Faeliel

I, nor do my council, know who this individual is, nor am I aware as to how their involvement comes into play with my nation. With that said, I am sorry for the loss of your citizen and I truly express the greatest sympathies for the pain you have felt. I am more than happy to aid in the construction, and pay for the costs of the erection of a monument in the name of your fallen.

    The Law of Dark Magic

As I’ve mentioned before, Dark Magic is illegal in Llyria. I will cite the passage within our Edicts, Section 6. Regulations:

    Pertaining to the Unnatural

    • Just as they are taught within the teachings of the Canon, Warlocks and Abominations are permitted and tolerated within the borders of The Concord, however they are forbidden from using their magic or their powers no matter where they are, or for what reason. Furthermore, these beings are prohibited from reproducing, and will be scrutinized further should they break an Edict of the Concord.
    • Creatures that are born of the magics of Warlocks are forbidden from holding public office, or working in public business.
    • Warlocks, and creatures born of the magics of Warlocks, must conceal their features if their appearance is deemed threatening, at the discretion of the Lordly Council, or Empyrion.
    • Warlocks, and creatures born of the magics of Warlocks, must register with the Echelon of Sagacity before being considered for tolerated citizenship.

While, yes, Warlocks are tolerated to exist within the borders of the Concord, as defined by the Teachings of the Canon, their practices and their ways are admonished and targeted by the Constabulary and the Consul. These beings are abominations, their practices wicked and cruel, and any being who dares to practice and conjure such within my border will face extermination. Those who practice and make use of their arts are hunted, Sohaer, always. We do not harbour people. We never have, and we never will. Instead of readying yourselves for war, if you’d actually met with me on the many occasions I tried to reach out and communicate with you, all of this could have been avoided.

This only leads me to believe that this whole charade is being presented because you are clawing for a reason for war, and not because you have the interests of the innocent at heart. The Consul and I conclude together, as a united front, that the menace of Warlocks must be dealt with, and we are responding in kind. A reformed Guardforce is being dispatched to keep the streets clean and clear of all threats, and we will not permit any of those who seek harm on others to exist within our lands.

I was, and am ever open to discussion with you, Dimaethor, always. I am a man of peace, a man who wishes to talk and sort problems through civil discussion. I do not reach conclusions alone, my Consul act as beacons of reason and advice to every single decision that is made. we are not perfect. We are young, and we admit our mistakes. Allow us the opportunity to prove that and discuss these matters with you. Further to that, perhaps I can prove to you that I am nothing like the putrid Father you deem me ilk of. The Izaliths are dead, and I killed them. Their name does not sully the blood of any any longer.

    Kind regards,

Ithrendas Regis & The Lordly Consul of Llyria.”

“Looks like Llyria is getting pretty fucked” comments a casual Sutican Prince, still waiting for his response to the missive he sent for the High Elven leader. “I wonder if they might should add the fact that they’ve also KNOWINGLY HARBOURED people such as Alfius (The Red Wanderer), Naztherak, and other such things.. HMMMMMM...” He chuckles a bit

"Who the **** is Alfius" The white man questioned. "Who are all these people you assume live here?"

  12. 1 minute ago, Amayonnaise said:

A dark-haired medic would sigh as she read over the missive, and its response; taking ink to paper to write her own response.

This is most certainly a lie of the highest degree; Karyssmov still wanders the city of Llyria, for all to see. Considering his demon remained present despite his apparent death and banishment, a demon which belongs to and follows only his word as its Archprince, it can easily be claimed that he never left, and probably was never killed, to begin with. Karyysmov hides behind red skin and horns – following another name. He has been there for over a Saint’s week. Anyone who walks into Llyria can see him. How you even thought you could deny this is absolutely hilarious.

However, reports have been made that this demon ‘Zhukar’ herself did willingly spout flame to incinerate a bird whilst hoisting a Druidic Creature up by the neck in the library, for anyone present at the scene to observe. This is most certainly use of their unnatural abilities, and defies your own defence.

The demon ‘Zhukar’ still acts as a guard, as do many others that wander your city. Despite not having a properly organised force, one most certainly is in place and actively demands for hoods to be removed, labelling themselves as guards in the process. Realising that ‘Traceless’ actually means leaving no mark nor detail behind about oneself and electing to create an Order that actually is ‘traceless’ does not exempt this detail.

This is also a definite lie, as Cyrene is still LEARNING such arts under Karyysmov himself. To learn, one must practice, and they can only learn under their teacher – which confirms that both she is practicing, and Karyysmov is still active and within your city.

As a key witness to these events, or receiver of reports, each one of these statements are quite clearly blatant and horrendous attempts at protecting your sinful city from such accusations.  -A

"Provide proof to these claims and I will lay justice down upon the wicked." states the Empyrion flatly, "How do you expect me to act without the attention being raised. Speak not like a coward in anonymity and speak freely, convene and elucidate on your claims. It has been made clear on every possible occasion that the Concord does not stand idle when these claims are made, and yet people still spout rather than address. I will investigate these matters further, but deliverance cannot be brought until proof is acquired."

  13. The Empyrion, having just returned from his honeymoon, looks over the missive with gloom. The man grimly set pen to paper, shaking his head as he wrote:

“Cassian Colborn has been a friend to my family, and to the Church for generations. This... accusation is a grave and harsh one, and I require further proof than the word of an anonymous source. If this proves to be true, which I harshly doubt, then the Concord will respond to his death appropriately and investigate the decisions made by the Lord Chancellor during his reign.

With that said, the Demon Karyssmov was slaughtered by our guards, and his ashes were personally delivered to His High Holiness, Daniel VI. Furthermore, Llyria does not permit the use of any and all magics, and is instead harshly scrutinized within our walls.

Within Canonist Teachings, the existence of abominations and malefic creatures is one that is tolerated. It is said that sapient creatures not born of the Four Brothers are corrupt, yes indeed, but are to be treated at best with pity. They are permitted to exist provided they do not reproduce, or make use of their unnatural abilities.

Furthermore, the demon Zhukar, and the shade Vas Vincrute, are not members of our Guardforce for you see, the Traceless Order was dissolved many years ago, and the Constabulary has yet to be established. The permitance of the ‘warlock’ Cyrene upon the Consul is one based in the reality that she applies to our laws and our customs, that our culture and the Canonist faith is unimpeded by her existence. Her arts are not utilised, and should proof of the contrary be brought to me then her status within the Concord will be swiftly dealt with.

It concerns me, concerned citizen, that your disregard for Canonist Teachings and Faith are so twisted and wicked. Bring unto me proof of your accusations, bring forth more than anonymity and words and I can assure you that righteous and just retribution shall be smitten upon those who are deserving.

I humbly request and beg His High Holiness to admonish these words until proof is offered, until the faithful Father is truly shown to have been wicked. His actions, his love for the Church shall not be debased by the Concord, not until such a time as it is clear that this nameless concerned citizen brings forth something viable. As a Canonist Ruler and a servant to the Faith myself, I took an oath to the Church, and to GOD, to uphold it’s teachings, and I shall not go against the vow I made and dirty the name of a Faithful Father with such frivalry.

    Regards,

Ithrendas Regis, Empyrion of the Concord.”

A Public Statement to the Princedom of Fenn, Vira’ker, and the people of Llyria

Issued on 4th of The First Seed, 1728

It has come to my attention during the past few months, that the Consul of Llyria and the Lord Chancellor, Cassian Cardinal Omeryn, have made decisions in regards to the declarations of war from the Principality of Fenn. As the acting Empyrion of the Concord, I wish to ensure and declare that these recent proclamations have been illegal and unapproved by the Empyreal seat.

With that said, however, The Empyreal Seat wishes to reinforce the apologies and sympathies exhibited in regards to the Fennic people. The presence of the Spider Cultists, albeit unbeknownst to us, has caused great suffering and strife to the Mali’fenn and I personally wish to extend my apologies that their presence in our lands, has led to the loss and suffering of many. The existence of these Cultists have proven a bane to many, and is a bane to us equally. It is through this apology, and through his acknowledgement of their stygian ways that I declare them enemies of the Concord. Their foul practices will never be supported, and will instead be squashed with the might of Arbitration. We will be handling the expulsion and extermination of the vermin from the Caves you have addressed, and ensuring that the network is collapsed in on itself so that the menace may never reform within our lands.

Furthermore, as an offer of peace and a show of our sympathies, we wish to compensate the Fennic people with reparations equaling the total cost of land. A total sum of 7,500 minas will be transferred by courier to the Grand Council of Fenn, and we will ensure that the menace do not return. The Cultists’ lands will be destroyed and defended against any stray who dares to step foot within our borders. We remain vigilant and careful in the eyes of this uncertainty, and each member of Arbitration has since been trained on how to deal with this threat. You and your people may rest assured that these people will never step within our land or use it as a base of operations for their attacks against you.

While the decisions made by the Lord Chancellor in false regency were illegal in nature, the decision to release the Sable Principality of Vira’ker into its rightful independence were, indeed, supported and approved decision by The Empyreal Seat. The rulership of the Syllar Crown is rightful and just, and we look forward to witnessing the rule of the High Prince.

We accept the terms of your statement, we are very sorry for your losses, and you are free to conduct just war against the ‘spider cultists’ that are illegally residing in our territory.

"To clarify. We do accept the terms Fenn issued, we simply state stop that that we offer safe passage to enable them to exact their just revenge. Unsure if that was clear." Ithrendas comments, shrugging one final time as he packed for his honeymoon.
