For example, *cuts off thieves head* or *dodges every swipe without a scratch* In-character Information Character's Name: Keris White Character's Gender: Male Character's Race: Human Character's Age: 37 Biography: A long time ago in the town of Siegrad, Keris lived happily with his mother, Mary, and his father, John. Mary stayed at home and John was a soldier who always helped out his fellow soldiers in battle and never left his post. One day however, they found a note on their door stating someone was out to kill John. They had no idea who left it but assumed it was Thoros, a traitor that John exposed to the public and disappeared days before his execution. They decided that it would be best to move to another land, in hope to escape this man. They chose to go to Petrus because it was large and probably had some jobs available for John so they could start a new life there. After several days of traveling they finally reached their destination and bought a small house towards the center of the city. John got a job as a blacksmith and they had a steady income. For 7 years they lived happily. They thought the trouble was over. After 7 years, Petrus was surrendered to Renatus. Although things didn't really change for Keris and his family, other families lives changed dramatically. In fact, all Keris noticed that was different was a change in the guards uniforms and new banners. Whenever John could get some free time, he would train Keris in swordsmanship to teach Keris how to fight. Keris began to become experienced when he was apprenticed at his father's blacksmith, so he could take over when John retired. A few weeks later, some guards spotted and arrested John for Treason. Although, he didn't know what they were talking about, he soon realized what was happening when he saw Thoros leaning against a wall, smiling. John figured Thoros had followed them here. In 6 days John was executed publicly. They did this to show what little tolerance they have for Treason. Mary and Keris wept and mourned for him for months. Eventually, they began to recover and Keris re-opened John's blacksmith, for he finished his training before his father died. Keris also trained harder than ever to become the swordsman he always wanted to be. Now Keris is 37 and has reached his goal of becoming a master swordsman although he never admits it. Personality Traits: Kind, Short-Tempered, Naïve, cunning. Ambitions: To become a master swordsman (he doesn't think he is one yet), and to learn a bit of Arcane Magic. John White, his father, always helped train young Keris, for John was a swordsman himself. John also practiced in the arts of Alchemy. One day, however, a potion went wrong and John was killed. Keris and his mother Mary, mourned for him for 2 weeks before they began to recover. Ever since Keris has trained even harder to reach his goal and become just like what his father was, a master swordsman.
