  1. Minecraft Name: (If you have multiple, put which you want the pex to be added to.): Whiplashist

Discord: (Can be put to private, however if you get an interview be sure to contact me.) Whiplash #1815

    Time-zone: Eastern Standard Time.

Do you, or have you held, any other staff positions? Please mention if you are intending on applying for GM as an ET: (Other servers included.) I had held an ET position from December to January.

Where do you grab inspiration from?: (Games, books, etc.)
My main inspiration is drawn from the Marvel Comics that I collect, although games such as Skyrim, Metal Gear, and Breath of the Wild are some of my other inspirations. TV shows like Legion and Fargo also spur my creative gears.

What are your current list of characters, and are you willing to sacrifice any?: Just my main character, Alexandra. I wouldn't be willing to sacrifice her, although I'd have three slots to use, so there wouldn't be much of an issue.

What race, or group, do your events best cater to?: My events would most likely cater towards humans, elves, and dwarves. I’ve generally RPed with people of those three races, and I feel like I can make an event work for them. However, I can do an event for any sort of race if I’m needed to.

What do you believe are the key factors for a successful event?: A successful event requires multiple factors to be it's best. It needs to be fun, most of all. The worst thing to hear is “I had no fun.”. Events also require a certain level of planning to be successful, whether it be a suitable build, multiple scenarios on how the event would play out through player choice, and even the basic concept needs to have a general thought process. Events also have to have a certain hook to them, to draw people in. There also needs to be a certain level of effort put to the event, such as well thought out emotes, and effort in the actual construction and conception of the event itself.

What strengths would you bring to the team?: (Knowledgeable in lore, great organizer, etc.)
I believe my inventive imagination could benefit the team. I've been told that I'm good at coming up with event ideas. I'm a hard worker when I'm not distracted by the stresses of life, and I've worked on my time management skills, which really was what brought me down during my previous tenure as an ET.

Why do you want to be part of the team?: Previously, I hadn't kept my promise of doing events and bringing more fun to LOTC, due to apathy, and stress, and declining grades. I've given myself six months to ponder my decision, and I want to bring enjoyment and fun to LOTC, for real this time. Giving people interesting stories to remember from their time on the server is something that I really want to offer. I feel very interested in the aspect of spicing up people’s day through interesting and enjoyable events. Now that everything in my life is back on track, I want to see if I'm ready to be an Actor.

Create three distinct event scenarios based on the servers lore that you would organize: (Keep in mind that these pitches are to the managers and the lead, no the community.)

    1. The Shooting Ace.

    Spoiler

A marksman makes contact with the group, asking for their help in an eerily specific bounty about his character traits. The man takes the party out into the woods, where he traps them, and tells them to slay his wife, who is said to be extremely sickly. The woman looks completely normal, and is pleading for help. However, the marksman had previously shown that he is extremely skilled at shooting, and uses his abilities to threaten the party into doing it. Whether or not the party kills the lady, or if they challenge the sharpshooter, is their choice. And their choice will determine the ending.

    2. A Showman's Bet.

    Spoiler

A man simply known as “The Showman” arrives, prepared to strike a deal to the party. He requests that they conceive a play of sorts, construct a set, and in the end, perform it for him. If the Showman is pleased by their performance, he gives them what he promises, a treasure beyond any of their beliefs. If he isn’t pleased by said performance, he keeps his treasure to himself, and continues his search for a proper set of showmen. The idea behind the event is that the party must work as a team to conceive and perform a show when put on the spot. It encourages teamwork, and showmanship. The Showman would still be RPing with them as they prepared the show, yet the party would be in charge of coming up with what to do.

    3.  The Strange Case of the Wyrm made of Bedsheets.

    Spoiler

A Wyrm attacks the city of Alban, in Haense, causing terror to those in the city. However, as it attacks, several striking discrepancies are seen, such as fabric tearing, voices coming from within, and the creature itself giving off a scent of freshly washed clothing. When revealed, it turns out that three men are operating a realistic wyrm costume, each man taking a specific function in the fabric wyrm’s body. Their reasoning is that they are downtrodden individuals, yearning for attention. How these men are treated are the choice of the participants.

How long do you plan to be able to work on the team?:
I’d imagine I could work from 3-6 months, and more if I feel like I belong on the team at that time.

Tell me a joke: Y’know, every episode of Scooby Doo would be two minutes long if the gang went into the mask store first and asked around.

    MC Name: Whiplashist

    Character's Name: Alexandra

    Character's Age: 21

Character's Original Race (N/A if not applicable): Human

    Transformed form: Izkuthii

    Creator's MC Name: FlamboyantPizza

    Creator's RP Name: Hayden

Briefly explain the lore behind this construct or creature:

Izkuthii are creatures with souls that are manipulated and changed, giving them two forms, masked and unmasked. A masked Izkuthii is one which has its true power at bay. The mask acts as a blocker for the izkuthii as to not show their true form, but the mask also keeps their powers at bay. Masked Izkuthii carry the appearance of a masked person. However, to better suit the Izkuthii in the outside world, they are capable of using an illusion that can disguise and camouflage themselves, which can be broken through heavy wounds such as a stabbing. Unmasked Izkuthii are a stranger case. They take on a faceless form, showing multiple spiritual arms. The power of the Izkuthii is much stronger. Izkuthii are required to feed on emotions to survive, a process which requires a separate living host. Izkuthii are capable of creating a 5x5x5 world by which they can create illusions of whatever they imagine. Izkuthii are created through a mask being placed on a chosen host, whose soul is proceeded to be cursed, where they are given a form of immortality.

Newly made Izkuthii start out in the fledgling stage. They do not have access to a fair amount of the powers that a normal adult izkuthii can use. Fledglings have no real control of their emotion-eating power, instead only being able to take the emotions through one single action. Adult Izkuthii have a stronger grasp on their capabilities, and they can use specific abilities that the fledglings hadn’t access to. Their emotion-eating is a lot more focused and consolidated. The third stage of Izkuthii are Ancients. Ancient Izkuthii are those that have their souls changed the most. They lack certain capabilities, such as the ability to learn voidal magic. The basic requirements for a normal Izkuthii to survive are accentuated for an ancient. The Izkuthii can become a spectral form. However, they cannot use the spectral form to their advantage. Izkuthii are similar to the acts of Llahir, the Daemon of trickery. The code they follow, The Trickster’s Code, involves them not killing, or stealing, or do anything to hinder their fellow Izkuthii.
