It really isn’t different. Of course an allegiance post would have to be made between other vassals in Renatus as it was originally a vassal ((arbor)) that had put up the freebuild takeover and not the crown. What sense would it make for a vassal to call other vassals to their own war without a post declaring an alliance.

It’s outrageous for rules to be a one way street and it makes absolutely no sense to lock allies before a war.

I think you’re completely missing the fact that arbor, Renatus, and other vassals did the same thing before the previous Reiver warclaim. It seems unfair for that to have been accepted for only one side. The warclaim was posted a year ig before the actual fight so why does it not make sense for Reivers to be able to aqquire and call in allies.
