I'm pretty new and, for my own experience ,if i didn't get help to start to rp on the server i wouldn't have stay event if rp is one of the thing i like the most. I'm not a english, but i still have prefere this server cause of the world he propose, but the introduction was hard.The tutorial a made don't learn me how to make a rp, it's the other player that tell me how work all the command i know and how to use them correctly. I was lucky to find kind person that take the time to teach basic thing like /s and /q correct use. Maybe it's just myself that is fearful when i try something new, but i would had like to have a "mentor" before the end of the tutorial place. Cause this "mentor" will serve many purpose to the new player, it will be it's teacher of how to rp without the fear to miss or fail, cause he will be alone with his "mentor". It's also the person that the new player will ask most of it's question and it's first link on the server. If it's a good "mentor" the player will feel important and will be more interesting to coming back again. One week with a mentor, and the new player should have learn most of the think he have to learn and feel more sure for go rp on it's own after. Probably event before, but have a person in referance that you can ask without fear to look stupide is really helpfull. It also help to keep interest on what happend. For the OOC at CT i didn't see a lot when i first come, but i see many player that were roleplaying not far from where i start. So that was nice, cause i get fastly a proof that people was here for roleplay and it's what i come for. If i didn't find people in my first 10 minute in the server, i will probably have left cause of no sign of any recent activity. So i'm not sure that making CT uninteresting to rp in will be a good idea. I think have start to the library with a welcoming room could have work too. The book in the welcoming room are all in ooc and speak about basic trick to get in rp. It's also where new player can start to intereact with they "mentor" and other new player, cause they will stick there for a little time (or not and just rush into the adventure). For new player don't stick there too long, (event if i don't think they will), a little quest could start there. Something easy but intriguing, or just a sigh write "Right click on me." and it's a teleporter that bring the player away from the welcoming room. For the draw away, i don't know about it. All i know is that is sometime uneasy to find a rp, i can walk around the different city hour without finding one. Maybe is cause i'm new and don't know a lot of other person with who i could play. I feel sometime like to be the only one on this map when the server said that 122 other player are here. I mostly find my new rp in cloud temple, cause is the place where you can fast travel from everywhere. For the safe area, i didn't event notice it was there, i was just thinking that new player get a time based invulnerability. Since i was lucky enough (or not) to don't event meet a single player on my road travel that could hurt me. I was thinking that pvp can only occure when both fighter where agree to make a fight. I didn't really experiment that side of the server for now. I think is all i have to said from my experience of new player on the game. I wish it could help to have a better introduction to the server. PS: Sorry for the grammar i'm not a english

When he was five year old, he make a ship travel with his family. His family is merchant so they was traveling for sell more goods. Zafael older brother, Tayla, was the one in charge to prepare the arrival of the Ul'ilidith family and a big chargement of goods ready to sell. They were heading to Lin'sulan Haelun’or, the high elven capitals with all those valuable book. Zafael was the youngest child abord, so he didn't get any other kid to play with. One of the ship member .a humain under the name of Jaren Camden, use his free time to distract the young kid of the rich family. For the pleasur of Zafael for who he was a trusted friend after only two day. When the ship go await from the safety water they get ambushed by pirate. The nighmare of any marchant ship. The fight start between the pirate and the marchant board. Zafael father's ask Jaren to bring the marchand family in safety , and it's what he do. he bring them in a locker under the bridge. He said to the family to hide there when the ship crew fight. Zafael's mother try to hide her childrens in the looker put only find one empty chest. So she took Zafael and hide him in the chest for the pirate don't get him. She tell him to don't make noise and that she will come back sone for him. She close the chest a second before the locker door open again. It was the pirate captaine. The pirate where better and win the controle of the ship. The pirate captain come for reclaims he's price. Him and he's crew have bring all the goods to he's ship and only left the mother and her childrens. At the pirate side a hurt humain named Jaren said to Zafael mother that he was sorry. Sorry to have betrayed them. Before the pirate captain bring Zafael's family on the pirat ship. Zafael see everything through the lock hold, but didn't make a noise. He was to young to understand the betrayer and in what danger it was. The pirate ship trop bullet canon at the marchant ship for send it see the sea floor. Zafael was still hiding in his chest whena bullet canon brock the flore where the chest was and make it fall through the water. A chest is not fully waterproof and the young elf passe close to drown itself in the chest, cause he was unable to get out, the chest was lock! He lost conscience after a time, and when he wake up he fill the cold of the nigh around him. sea is so cold for a young body. He didn't know how many day pass, how many time he stay trappe in the chest, but the chance was with him. Another board pick up the chest from the sea, thinking to find so goods, but they where surprise so see a young boy in that. Luckely, abord of this ship a circus troop was there and for entertain the crew at the night some fire dancer come make a show. The circus was composed of orphan that growth up together and make a circus for live. So they take zafael under they wing for be he's new family. For some week Zafael didn't say a word, not event his name, so the circus call him Leyu cause they find he graceful event with he's silent. In this periode the only thing that bring a smile on he's face was the fire dansing show. The fire dancer for try to make zafael speak start to learn him he's "fire magic". He train him to how do for don't getting burn by the fire and how make it move around him. That training session save a part of zafael, since he get something else to thing that the dead of his family. For hunt the pain await he spen most of is time to practice and learn all that he could with the circus. He stay with the cyrcus and become a fire dancer know under the name of Leyuigne, the graceful flame, he travel with them on the Isles of vailor, and mostly forget his trouble for year. He travel with the circus through all the city of Vaylor. What Zafael didn't know is that, his family haven't died in the pirate attack. They where taken in hostage. Tayla, the older brother of Zafael and the one in charge of the Ul'ilidith shot in Lin'sulan, was behind the pirate attack. He hire the pirate for take his father in hostage and give him the time to take complete controle over the family business. unfortualtly, the pirate steal all the goods and ask for event more for free the Ul'ilidith family. Like other dark elfe, family is really a important thing, so after a week he accept to pay the pirate for they free his family. Tayla was greed and cupid, but he wasn't able to lost he's family. It was too important for him and he fill horrible when he learn that he's younger brother zafael was still missing. For year after that he was paying for hunt down the pirate he hired, but that was usless, they didn't know where the missing kid was. Zafael was 17 old when Tayla finatly find him in he's fire dancer show. Tayla was able to find him cause of the family emble that zafael have keep all the time alone. At the start he was happy to find he's brother, thinking that he's brother was he's last family member still alive. For make the surprise to Zafael, Tayla didn't tell him that they family was alive. When they where both at the tavern, gard hired by Tayla arrest the circus member for the kidnapping of Zafael. When Zafael learn it he ask he's brother to release them, but he didn't want. Tayla try to convince zafael that those circus member where just criminal and nothing more, but zafael refuse to beleive him. So before the Ul'ilidith family come back, Tayla make the circus member being executed, but he didn't know that Zafael ear him when he give the order. Tayla was to obseded by is goal to fixe his pass mistake to see the error he make that day. Zafael flee his house and his brother, missing from a few hour his family without knowing it. He keep his family emblem but keep it hide for avoid he's brother to find him again. Personality Traits: (what are your character's quirks?; habits?; likes and dislikes?) He didn't trust other and won't show he's care to other by fear that they get hurt. When he's stressed or thinking he play with one strand of his hair, making it turn around he's finger. He's nervous when he's raining or when he's close of the water where he don't see the ground. He like cat and other feline, but dislike snail and all those type of creature. Ambitions: (what does your character aspire to be?) First it was wanted become a fire dancer, and use the "fire magic" they use. After when he have start to look for learn more and seek for knowledge about the true magic. Strengths/Talents: (what is your character really, really good at?) He's genial with fire, he play a lot of time with it but never keep a scar of it. He's also a charismatic person that like speak with other and be the center of the attention. This side of him also give him a natural talent to bring other to take he's side and follow him. It's also usefull for charm other. He have a good resistance the alcool. Weaknesses/Inabilities: (what is a skill that your character needs to work on?) He have a weak defense and will probably be K.O. at the first attack that success to touch him. He's also really bad to resist to the tentation of alcool and try drug that he never try before. (He will try it just by curiosity, and mostly never touch it again after.) He's a bad swimmer, he know the base for don't drown itself and keep he's head out of water, but will easly get panicked if he go under water unwantly. His eyes are like two ruby with a red crystal style in it. His eyes are hypnotic. He's not tall as other elven, but it's little forma don't make it less dangerous. He take a good care of itself and give him a part of he's shocking charm. His hair are of a pure white with some red reflection under the light, he also have some goldy and red jewelry fix to he's hair. He have a flame tattoo under is navel the go down he's belly and lower under his pants. His tatoo is make for attrack eye. It is as gracefully muscular, not too much, just enough to be pleasing to the eye. His regular clothing if a sleeveless jacket red like his eyes that reveals his muscular stomach.
