Most toxic player I’ve met since the flay-playerbase.  Will do nothing for this team or any other he applies for, -1 all the way

    Someone’s pissed.

Besides, I’ve rp’d with Joel before, have seen his roleplay and can say he’s, atleast from my 15 minutes of rp with him, he’s pretty chill. +1

  2. Albert sits quietly inside his study, in Belvitz, small lines of tears falling down his eyes. He cleans them, stands up and sighs “Man up, Albert...” he murmured to himself. Shooting a lil’ kiss to his to-be wife, he set off to Leeuwenhof, to assist his cousin in anything needed.

    I don’t hate Brazil ?

don’t say that you hate brasil or else next second a shirtless favela kid will be banging on your door

    Pretty friggin’ true.

  4. All the lore for Dark shamanism and shamanism is a whole I’ve seen from Hedge and Smaw where trying to make their characters the big boys with more power. Shagarath is strong as he is because the team he’s trying to enter hasn’t or hasn’t tried to put limits on him. Big -1 from me. Sorry.

    1. That clause will be amended in, no worries there. RP languages will be allowed.

    2. The cross next to a deceased persons name is fine and has little to do with this rule. The rule refers to typing in symbols in such a way that nobody would be able to read what you are saying.

    3. This isn’t the first time this has been brought up, and if we were to fear for a ‘second wave’, nothing would ever get done.

    4. Well when someone posts a meme that would infer that harm should be brought on others (or are intentionally malicious), we need to deal with that appropriately. A good example of a harmless joke between players in the Captain America movie poster in my signature.

    5. Just use the report function and an FM will handle it, it does create clutter and another post we have to deal with. A new player might also feel uncomfortable with people jumping on them telling them they did something wrong. The FM team can handle a report in privacy and then inform the new player of their mistake without others jumping on them for it.

    1. Good enough.
    2. Sometimes people (Like the ET) type in symbols so people need to decrypt/find out something that leads to an event. This rule greatly discourages it.
    3. The second wave is always the strongest, and this action will in no way stop people for doing it, because it’s a – i’m sorry for this – plainly dumb rule.
    4. Memes are memes. We’re not the UK to disallow targetting memes. We’re not SpaceOfAids to call people ‘sex predators’ if they offend us with a meme. The community’s very well able to report a meme that they find overly offensive, or plainly not a joke at all.
    5. On the new player thing, I’ve constantly said to new players they did something wrong, never has one felt uncomfortable, matter of fact, they asked for help to fix it. As for the report function, this goes back to the ‘can we have actual moderators please’ and the ‘why don’t you apply’ argument is as shallow and baseless as Brazil’s politics. If a player feels like the team isn’t doing enough for the server, YOU, a MEMBER OF THE STAFF, is not in the place to imply ‘why don’t you come do better’. That shows a level of lack of maturity that scares me and makes me wonder what kind of people are in the present staff. Aside from saying ‘hur dur apply’, maybe ask for suggestions on how to improve?

    Just my humble opinion.

Ps.: Sorry for bad grammar, phone + non native speaker.

Describe your knowledge on the descendant races

All descendant races, as the name suggested, descended from someone. The Orcs descended from Krug, the one who took it upon himself to be the first to take action against Iblees and get the curse of Bloodlust and a race deemed ‘ugly’. The Humans, descended from Horen, whom wanted an immortal life, got the curse of the most short spanned race of all of them, rarely passing 100 years of age. The Dwarves, descended from Urguan, attacked Iblees alongside Krug and, being greedy, they got the curse of, well, greed alongside stoutness. A dwarf can never get enough of his gems. The Elves, descendants of Malin, who wanted his descendants to spread far and away, got the ‘blessing’ of long lives, but was cursed by being infertile. Aside from whom they descended from, the races have their own feats and details. Orcs with their tusks, different skin colours, specific accent and a certain air of uniqueness about them. Humans with their various different cultures, languages, kingdoms and vast religions, the birth of most things we know and use. The Elves with their knowledge of the unknown and the striking beauty of their cities, all the way from Linandria in Axios to Caras Eldar in Atlas, Haelun’or aswell on Atlas and the expansive knowledge on magics. Dwarves with their extensive mines and intricate mechanisms, debatably better tinkers and engineers than the Goblins. Overall, the four races are diverse and offer choice for all people.

Describe your knowledge on other pieces of lore that you believe to be relevant

I’m gonna specify my knowledge of Orcish Lore, as I have played an Orc for quite some time aswell as I’ve had contact with Dark Shamanism (T5 aswell). I’m gonna specify myself on society and hierarchy of the Orcs. In the Orcish Society, Honor and Strength are put in high standards and are things that define how an orc lives his day-to-day life. A less known orc, who hasn’t earned a spot or hasn’t really proved himself is usually thrown as a meatshield to useless or sometimes ‘boring’ tasks. The Society is also arranged into Clans, like Raguk, Lak, Lur, etc. Each clan has their own traditions, history, notable figures and even different symbolic animals (like the Myrzym for the Raguks, Toalaks in the Laks and Lur Wolves for the Lurs). The Orcish Society is lead by a Rex, who can be of any clan and the title is earned when a Wargoth (leader) of a clan challenges the current Rex and wins in duel. That is one of the ways. When the current Rex dies, the title is then passed to the Yazgurtan, who is the Rex’s ‘hand’ and, until a Wargoth decides to challenge, the Yazgurtan remains. It can also be passed down to another Orc should the Rex step down. Hierarchy within Orcish society and clans is, again, honor and strength based. A Clan has a Wargoth, who is their leader, the Elders, who are notable figures of the Clan and deserve an amount of respect, and Grunts, who are the base and ‘normal’ orcs of the Clan. As for the Uzg as a whole, the Rex is the primary leader, as explained, then comes the Yazgurtan and several other positions, like Huntsgoth (an Orc who leads the hunts and warparties) all the way down to Keshigs and Keshig Boss (Rex’s personal guards).

Detail what drives you to become a member of the application team

“Wait, wasn’t this guy just unbanned?” Yes. I was. But knowing that, I still applied, and my motivation to try and change the server for the best is what drives me to apply for Staff regardless of my history. What motivates me to try for the Application Team is simply that. I want to help people. In the 6 months I had to think about what I had done to get 6 months to think made me a more empathic person. I remember the hype I had when I first applied and I remember how hard it was to do all the research onto my whitelist app and thinking that I can help people with that and not only that but accept them into the server, alongside all of the responsibilities that come to an Application Moderator just fills me with (don’t take this weirdly) excitement. It just looks like such a pleasant thing to do, knowing you’ve helped that person, knowing you’ve put another good player, another commited person into the server.

Provide an alternate way to assisting new players apart from reviewing applications

I think that shooting the person a forum PM before they have their application reviewed (like I have done in the past) and pointing out some things that they can improve, change or take away so that they can get accepted is a good way. Not only that, which is pretty basic, maybe even suggest things to them related to their story. They’re an elf born off a merchant? Maybe they fit in with Sutica, a Trade Federation! They’re a dwarf seeking riches? They fit the glory-hunting miners and merchants! Linking lore from the wiki, suggesting reads and inputting advice to them really helps. And after their accepted, commiting yourself to helping them around in game, either in CT or through PMs in the server so they get the hang of the server is also a really good thing to do.

Survey the application process and provide any possible improvements which could be made

I think the rules sect on the Whitelist Application is too scarce. You just have to tick a switch and explain what Powergaming and Metagaming is and boom, you’re good. I think that the application proccess could use a more detailed question regarding the rules, maybe alongside the ‘Explain Power/Metagaming’ could also have a question: ‘detail a rule which you found interesting/useful’. Alongside that, I think that a ‘Character Personality’ box could be added alongside the ‘Character Description’ in the application to further detail characters and create more rich personas.

Provide any additional information that you believe is needed

I work from home but I'm only on normally at night. I'm active on Discord most of the day on my phone, though.

  7. Albert Brussels, a member of the Priorist Party himself or, atleast, a supporter, shakes his head upon reading this. ”I cannot believe the city in which myself and my family lives has such degeneracy. Heed the voice of reason, good sir. T’is the Empire of Man. T’is not the Empire of Dagger-ears, the Empire of Orkin, neither is the Empire of Half-breeds. T’is in the canonists scrolls, that they are creatures of GOD’s utmost hatred and fiends plagued with ill-intention.” he sighed, standing up and writing down on a paper. ”Belvitz will need a better mayor. One that endorses his people’s complaints. We have elves loyal to the Empire. They bent the knee. So shall you. Defiance to the Empire is defiance to God himself.”

    Creator's MC Name:

             Lhindir_

    Creator's RP Name:

             Anordal

Briefly explain the lore behind this construct or creature:

Atronachs, or otherwise called, more ‘fancily’, Arcane Familiars, are created when you bring together three types of arcane magic. Namely, Transfiguration, Conjuration and Evocation. Though constantly compared to Golems, the process of an Atronach’s creation is nothing like the Golem’s. Whereas the Golem can consist of a nucleum and several different runes to power it, and having a core that’s similar to a cube or sphere, an atronach’s core is magical, mana infused, and cylindrical. As many conjured beasts and familiars, Atronachs follow commands from it’s creator. Like Golems, it’s up to the creator to teach them things, but the atronach’s life is around it’s master/creator and what they do, or command. Atronachs have their own types. Ice Atronachs (Ice Familiars), Fire, Water, Earth and Arcane, each having their own means of evocation to be created. Their abilities depend entirely on their state (solid or liquid) and their element. A water atronach is more prone to ranged attacks than an earth atronach, and vice versa. However, the fact that they can use the element in their body aggresively does not count as actually connecting to the void and casting magic, as they are incapable of that. A fire atronach just shoots part of it’s body composition. Atronachs depend entirely on their plates and core to survive hits. If the hit, let it be from a sword, arrow, what ever, that hits the element itself will only drain a small amount of mana from the core and do minimal damage to the atronach’s physical integrity.

Do you have a magic(s) you are dropping due to this app? If so, link it:

             Nope.

Do you agree to keep the MT updated on the status of your magic app by using the Magic List Errors topic?:

             Yep.

Are you aware that if this creature's lore is undergoing an activity trial and that trial fails, you will no longer be able to play this creature and will be forced to either revert the character back to its normal form (if it was a transformative type) or stop playing the character entirely (if it is an entirely new creature)?:

             Ja.

Do you consent to accepting what may happen to this character?:

             Da.

Have you applied for this creature on this character before, and had it denied? If so, link the app:

             Nyet.

A dark-skinned elf sits alone on the balcony of his home, smoke rising from the pipe that now seems permanently clamped between his lips as he scans over the page. The fingers of his wooden right hand drum lightly against the table in front of him, his eyebrows furrowed as he reads it over.

"...So now we're bribing people with discounts, food, minas, and tax exemptions to proudly display that they worship the Aspects," he muses, taking the pipe from his mouth and exhaling, watching the plumes roll along before they're swept away by the breeze. After setting the pipe down, he picks up a frothy mug of a golden brew, tilting it back to take a long swig of its contents. "Is it that difficult to get your citizens to serve, dear brother? Or have they too opened their eyes to your bullshit?" He crumples the page up, tossing it into a wastebasket in the corner.

“Why though” another dark skinned elf asks this dark skinned elf
