Remember to add three references to the server lore): In some particular farming village to the south of Courland, little known and oft forgotten, a woman is giving birth within the local priory. The wife of the local Lotharic preacher brought a boy into the world that night, one who would dream of greatness from his humble place in this world. They named him Lawrence after a long forgotten Saint, as was the tradition in the family. He was born into some amount of money, not particularly wealthy, but enough for him and his family to live comfortably within the village. He enjoyed a rather thorough education, learning the art of calligraphy as well as mathematics and history, particularly enjoying the study of the Elves of the Dominion. Their longevity and unnatural beauty had always inspired Lawrence to try and reach the heights of human ability. However, Lawrence always wished to aspire to greatness. This little village was growing confined for the boy's ever-expanding horizons, and he wished to experience the world first hand. His father, while not pleased, supported young Lawrence, and hired one of the Town Watch to help train him in swordsmanship, so he could protect himself whilst on the road. While clunky, and often outperformed by folks with even the slightest bit of classical training, Lawrence's pride and tenacity often leads to him getting into scuffles and coming out on top. Once he had reached the age of twenty, he decided it was time to set out. He wished his family farewell and set out on what most would consider an adventure into the wilds, his heart set on reaching the Dominion to learn more of the long-lived Elves, though he would end up getting side tracked by far the far more immediate adventures to come. Personality Traits: A well-mannered and well-spoken man, but not without his own faults, Lawrence is an extremely proud man. While not the best at what he does, his wanderlust and generally optimistic outlook often leaves him in some far-flung corner of the world, making the best of what he has.
