What is Roleplaying?:
Roleplaying is taking part in a larger community where you, a player, take upon a role and speak in character to build upon the world and interact with others.
What is Metagaming?:
Metagaming is a sin. Generally speaking, it is using out of character information to influence a character's actions.
What is Power-emoting (Powergaming)?:
In such a fiendish act, one ignores creating a character with flaws and personality, and, instead, min-maxes stats and abilities to "break the game." It is often linked with indulging in power fantasies. For instance, a warrior claims to be the stongest individual ever lifting a mountain well above the heavens and killing gods on a daily basis.

Biography (This is one of the most important sections of the application. Please take your time and make it a decent paragraph long. The story of the House of Stolt'aroloth is a peculiar one. This particular family of Snow Elves has a reputation for military loyalty, but a brash attitude. Since the creation of the Snow Elves, the Stolt'aroloths have found themselves to retain a touch of the madness of their pre-Wyrvunic ancestors, manifesting itself in their purist beliefs and contempt for Mali'mira, or non-Snow Elven Mali. After the Second Siege of Tar'sil, the Stolt'aroloths escaped scarred and battered, believing their Grand Prince to be dead. Fleeing the scene of destruction, and thinking all of their kin to be dead, they sought shelter upon a remote island. Escaping to Axios, it would be decades before they decided to send scouts out to make contact with the other races of Axios, discovering the survival of their kin in the Princedom of Fenn.
From a young age Bren was told of the splendor of his people. Raised by his Grandfather, as plague swept away the lives of his mother and father, Bren spent his youth in the comfort of a wicker home (not thatch) he was taught the necessities of combat, calligraphy, and the finer arts. Bren was most drawn to war and the hymns passed down for generations that shaped Snow Elven history. Daily he dueled his brother and with every dual victory came to Bren. Once strong enough to explore the outer realms, Bren along with his youthful twin, Krenanteon, was sent by his grandfather to make contact with the other kingdoms. He wandered past plain and mountain meeting dwarves and orcs until, lost and weary, Bren and Krenanteon fell upon a camp of their kin separated for generations. Both were swept back to Velaris and made acquaintance with the Grand Prince himself as they were eager to serve the Prince's throne.

Bren is competitive, brash, and often lacks the foresight to think fully through situations. While skilled with a blade and gifted in the fine arts, the madness, inherent in the Stolt'aroloth's lineage, tends to distract Bren from deeper thoughts. He is infinity loyal to his king and country although lacks a complete knowledge on the empire he serves stoically believing the braveness and courage of his line.
Ambitions: (what does your character aspire to be?)
Bren aspires to be better than Krenanteon in every possible way while wishing to serve the Grand Prince and help his own lost people to rediscover their history.
Strengths/Talents: (what is your character really, really good at?)
Bren is good at the finer things any noble would learn, known for his penmanship and crafts, while maintaining an arm made for the blade.
Weaknesses/Inabilities: (what is a skill that your character needs to work on?)
Bren is not a deep thinker and while his intelligence he has lofty ideals on how he believes the world to work. Boasting is set in his lineage, and Bren would happily give his head if it means improving his legacy.

Bren is stout as 5' 9" (Taller than Krenanteon) and of a wide build. Bren has shortly trimmed white hair and a long braid in the back. His green eyes denote his Stolt'arolothian lineage. He wears a heavy breastplate with layers of worn but regal tunics.
