  1. There’s a whole lot to go off of from a perspective to fit into a show but I feel like the best use with the goal of source material given there was budget for all of it would be based more on the greater aspects of the whole server’s lore in which players can and have actively

    participated in

the best use of “lotc” as a whole for a concept like that would be to make a whole bunch of different types of media with how many different stories and possibilities are jammed into the server.

  5. The Gargoyle-demon sat on a perch at the top of Hexicanum, letting out shrill laughter, expecting chaos to reign supreme as even a God fell to the Red Lich Gashadokuro.

  6. 30 minutes should be the longest the lock lasts and even then I think 15 minutes is relatively reasonable

Sure, a guard rolling up into a fight and doing nothing doesn't make sense but at the same time a small fight shouldn't last in rp time multiple days or whatever with how irl time is converted to irp.

If a bell is rung and guards don't show up within a certain period of time that's just how it is there shouldn't be a whole 30 minute wait for them to get ready before joining combat.

I personally think 15 minutes is reasonable but some changes could be made besides blatantly extending the cap. I doubt this would be implemented but for cities and settlements with bells why not make it so once crp is locked a bell may be rung once with proper emotes and such that gives that location a bit extra time to rally and then join that combat?

    Creator's MC Name:

             DoctorRibs

    Creator's RP Name:

             Ahzek Morvayn

Briefly explain the lore behind this construct or creature:

Zar’ei are Inferi which have a closer resemblance to descendants as well as  intellect on par with them, using such to survive and manipulate others to further themselves. They look grotesque, a demonic visage mimicking what a descendant counterpart would be. Some look similar to their natural counterpart whilst others may look completely demonic and twisted in their form.

Zar’ei are pure carnivorous beings, gaining nutrition nearly solely from meat. Although one could survive if fed other options from meat, their strength and body would wane from a massive lack in sustenance.

Zar’ei are devilish beings, using their intellect to work in their favor. They are incapable of forming any sort of healthy relationship, always looking for a greater gain from any such bond. They will manipulate and exploit descendants, just as easily discarding them if it means survival and furthering their own plots. In effect: they are monsters, geared purely towards manipulation or consuming their victims.

    • Malda are slimmer Zar’ei which are geared towards magical use. They have a max height of 6 feet tall and possess the physical capabilities of a Voidal Mage. These Zar’ei poses a pool of 70 males which replenishes every 12 IRL hours.

    • Kozun are the Zar’ei which take a main foot soldier file in the Inferi Hordes. These demons are at the peak physical strength of a human knight while retaining a tactical mind comparable to mortals. They possess a pool of 40 maleus which replenishes every 12 IRL hours.

    • Rakaal are the largest of the subtypes, possessing the equivalent physique of an orc. They only possess a meager 20 maleus which will replenish every 12 IRL hours.

    Strengths and weaknesses

Zar’ei are functionally immortal, reviving after 1 OOC week’s time unless their bound Naztherak. They have access to their own Malflame abilities without the need of a grimoire unlike a Naztherak. Their intellect and physique is on par with their descendant counterparts, depending on class as well as them having access to natural armor no stronger than ceramic.

Holy Magics burn Zar’ei, being substantially more painful to them. Passive auras from paladinism will cause an instinctual disgust for them. All poisons, such as azhl, will work on a Zar’ei just as they would a descendant. Lastly, thannic steel will still retain a frost bite effect additional to the anti magical effects.

    Evolution
Lastly, Zar’ei are motivated by gaining power and embody this through Evolution. By consuming three total mortal souls through killing or bargaining in order to reach their goal in evolution in which the Zar’ei change in form. They grow in even more demonic and unnatural manors as their form then changes to compensate for their subclass’s weaknesses.  Most notably they gain a foot in height as well as Malda becoming physically equal to a fit Elf as well as up to 200lbs in weight; Kozun gain Rok-Agral and 10 more maleus; and lastly Rakaal gain 5 more maleus.

If this construct or creature has some form of aesthetic choice, can you describe how they look?

Mor'Rihkzul is a 7" tall Kozun that resembles a gargoyle in form. Spiraling horns, dark and uncanny eyes, as well as sharp claws and teeth hidden within its maw. Adorned on it's back is a pair of bat-like wings.

Do you have a magic(s) you are dropping due to this app? If so, link it:

             No

Do you agree to keep Story writers updated on the status of your magic app?:

             Yes

Are you aware that if this creature is shelved, your character may be given the option to revert or be indefinitely shelved?

             Yes

Memey RP or using this CA for subpar villain/bandit RP can lead to your app being denied, even after acceptance. Please put "I understand" as your response once you have read this part and understand the consequences.

             I understand

Have you applied for this creature on this character before, and had it denied? If so, link the app:

             Nope

  8. The Smith read over the missive, burning it in his furnace before saying a prayer.

The Herald tended to himself after the battle, saying words for his fallen friend in a Draconic tongue.

The Madman cackled and danced, clapping his hands above his head. “Why follow those silly Gods when you can follow that Lord Gashadokuro! Why, why indeed!”

What focus-area of the Moderation Team interests you the most?

    Server and Conflict

Why have you decided to apply for the Moderation Team?

Moderation has an important role on the server helping players solve problems, go through certain events such as heists, and so on. I decided to apply since I believe it’s the best way to help all players on the server have a good, fun experience. In the past I’ve had moments where moderation helped smooth out a rough situation in between groups and achieve a more enjoyable interaction. Lotc is a place where players should log on at the end of the day with having fun in mind, and while there will always be issues arising when people interact with conflict or debates. Moderation is the most effective way to make the overall server experience better which is something I’ve always wanted to help out with.

What can you offer to the team?

I work well solving disputes by listening to both sides of any story, as well I like to focus on making decisions that are fair to all players in any situation. I strive to be friendly to people I meet on the server and even in a situation where friends are involved I am unwilling to let bias override the server’s rules. When it comes to any kind of rules I always tend to go by the book in any situation, and where rules may be a bit less straightforward I can make a fair decision based on what’s given.

If you were the Mod Admin, what would you change about the server?

I don’t see any real issues with the current state of the rules on the server, but I’d like everyone to be able to work with me to further improve the server’s experience. Staff has done well listening to people’s opinions and feedback, and I’d continue that by working with all communities within the server through feedback or general conversation.

Liquid Draan is just the 'lifeforce' of which Azdromoth blessed the heralds to utilize their spells or magics.  Hence, it would be a necessary reagent for it to differentiate between regular alchemy and Draconic, just like Necromancers with Lifeforce and Naztheraks with Rakir. Making it just Liquid Mana would be out of place, especially when Azdrazis themselves cannot extract that due to their anti-magical properties

Draan is held within the marks branded onto a herald, I don’t see how channeling it into your arm and then bleeding before extracting the draan, gives you the substance. The process just doesn’t make much sense especially with how Draan works with something like binding.

From what I’ve seen in the past from ST is that nearly any MA is capable of creating liquid mana but I’d check depending on the canon source with a case like necromancy or naztherak. That being said, Azdrazi are not anti-magical in the sense you’re saying with them not utilizing a form of mana. Dragonsflame does have properties that let it interact tangibly with magical beings and spells but it is not Thanhium or auric oil. Azdrazi, and by proxy I assume heraldry, use anima as a source of energy.

This means that Azdrazi have mana in that from: “The main ‘purpose’ of anima in mortals and deities is to facilitate mana production. There is a direct correlation between how much anima a soul has and its magical potency.

And emote count with irl duration is in pretty much any potion with a lasting effect, but I’m not sure exactly how those limits are calculated between emotes and minutes or if that’s added later by ST or not. I simply asked because I’m used to seeing it everywhere.

  11. What is the point of creating liquid draan as its own Reagent when you could just use liquid mana?

As for Bane of Malghourn hypothermia makes no sense, heat stroke or shock should be used instead for the negative effect. Hypothermia would come from your body being cooled while heat stroke comes from becoming too warm. Then moving from hot to cooling too fast could cause shock with more uses of it.

As well how many emotes is 15 or 30 ooc emotes equivalent to for its duration since it is a combative use potion.

Also what's really the reason for draugurs wax? Ordained heralds have a spell that can prevent then from being hit with fire and azdrazi are immune to fire bar true dragons flame and malflame. There's also items like rokodra which have a similar yet better effect than this potion. It just seems like Alchemy bloat to make yet another fire proofing item especially since its generally guarded to the Azdrazi community with liquid draan as a Reagent

    - liquid draan should just be liquid mana, it generally makes more sense and avoids the potions being needlessly blocked.

The use of azdrazi scales is good for something like the wax since that can be obtained whether or not you ally with the Azdrazi

I think the idea that necro's must be dark and spooky at all times to be just. . . Edgy. I've been on the server since 2015 and have hung out with fellow necro's in the past. Whilst they obviously need to be on the evil scale of alignment chart and are in fact deplorable beings I do think some don't see themselves as such.

Having all necromancers be unromanceable dark people who hate anything nice, only wear dark colors and go "gahh! No! Feelins bad" is rather one dimensional. It doesn't allow for character growth and gives you a small amount of ways you can actually rp on that character. I personally don't see limiting ones self to such a degree necessary. So unfortunately I am going to -1 this.

Necromancers are corpses, why do they need to be romanceable

Blutverdunner was meant to be a clarifier. To my knowledge rubbing tippen's on a wound would obscure it. Organ mender actually heals organs and does not require st signature. There are also are no ways of stopping internal injury short of killing or otherwise harming the patient.

Medical alchemy is strong enough as is and not being able to perfectly and safety heal something like internal damage with alchemy is a good thing.

Patients dying on you creates character development, patients surviving with what would be a horrible experience irp that isn’t magically fixed gives them character development.

Even then you have healing magics that can heal internal wounds, but often times something like healing magics forces some people to expand to other places and people irply. It generates interactions, especially with cultural healing like farseer where it’s more than just one and done healing. Often times they will ask for offerings to their spirit, religious conversion, etc.

End all be all cures and healing in the form of a potion is pretty bland. Scuffed surgery rp is the most fun medical related rp I’ve ever had, and I think there should be more of that vs medical alchemy buffs
