  1. Here's the skinny: you give me money (fake or real), I make you a skin. Below are some examples and tiers of pricing: I can do dresses! tailcoats! androgynous folk! less-humanoid folk! My style is pretty high-contrast, saturation-oriented, with style influences from the Renaissance thru Victorian era. THE FULL RENDER - 200-300 mina Your persona. Their 'fit. My art. Base included on request. NO TEA NO SHADE - 75 mina I paint you a one-layer, basic colorblocking of your persona/their outfit and you or another artist of your choosing do the shading/details. JK, ALL THE SHADE - 50 mina I add shading/details to a skin of your design or free use. Good for new scars, minor color changes, adding an accessory, shading the basics. If I find out you are using a skin w/o permission (or have given me a skin w/o edit permission), I'm going to the artist. Snitches get... a decent reputation in the art community, maybe? THE KITTEN CABOODLE - starting at $20USD Three outfits. Full shading, full rendering. You want 3 versions of a single outfit - base, travel, rest? Sure. You want formalwear, fightin' suit, and party garb? Sure. You can also request less or more skins: it is $20 for 2 or 3, and +$5 for every additional skin. I will negotiate mina for this, but it's going to be steep. DA RULEZ TIME NEEDED TO COMPLETE YOUR SKIN! FOR ALL MINA COMMISSIONS: 3-5 days. FOR CASH COMMISSIONS: 48hrs. EXCEPTION: THE KITTEN CABOODLE: 3 days. Please remember I am only human, despite my obvious penchant for pointy-eared alternatives. Tone is hard to convey: sometimes time is hard to estimate, or worse yet, hard to find. I am going to assume you have the best intentions and ask that you do the same. Please do not send me daily check-in requests on your skin: I promise I will let you know when it is done or if I hit a hurdle. Furthermore, when we get to the editing stages, I will do what you ask, but I'm not a mindreader! Reference images always help if you can't verbalize what you'd seeing. TO COMMISSION: DM me on the forum or Discord critter#2059 with: - Your character's name - Which tier you want OR a basic description of what you're looking for (if the latter, please include price range) - A few references/screenshots/base skin/etc. Something to know what I'm looking at. I am an EST artist. I will reply within 24 hours.

  3. Elsewhere, a young Elf first came to learn of the Lordling's escape through the not-hushed-enough rumors that so often traversed the same paths as she: and later, in more dogged pursuit, a snapping conscience on her heels. "It will all be for the best," Wynanya told the otherwise quiet woods, one night after the truth of it was confirmed. "With all we know, and all we don't. It will be. May the roads teach him what we could not, that little one. May he heal while he walks them," and she paused, taking a one-handed sip from a bottle and smiling a shy little smile to herself: "and may he polish up his Elven, while he's at it."
  4. Elsewhere, a young elf grinned to herself, reviewing the copy of the debut so kindly shown to her by a wild young Lady. She eyed a trinketbox nearby, eyebrow arching. "Ah, mettii. What a new kind of trouble - but red would suit you. And how could we miss this?"
  5. Listen. I come from a D&D background, a LARP background, a "sit down and yak for 20 hours before RPing" background," and I just got back here. I don't know how to do the jumping-in-two-feet-first RP thing. I need spice. History. And I'm violently anxious in seeking it, so hello, abyss. Have a forum post. So. I've got a new persona, a mali'aheral. She's a youthful 27. Violently headstrong. Definitely impure for one reason or another, with an inconveniently long name ripe for the nicknaming and a habit of wandering (currently puttering about in Elysium.) Your character could be just about anyone in the same approximate age range (or a much younger sibling/less-much-younger cousin/etc) - I'm just looking for a jumping-off point for some conflict/interaction/quirky adventure RP. If any other anxious nerds in need of a roadmap out there feel the same, look no further and drop a reply.
  6. Hey there! Context: I've been in and out of LotC for... years, now, but this time coming back around had stuck. This was the only forum account I have the login to: as there's no application on its history, one can assume it wasn't my original (I am genuinely unsure if this is in violation of conduct, so let me know). But when I went to sync it and my game account... Surprise surprise. And then there was also this, after a kindly soul pointed me towards /treq: Any guidance (or rightful scoldings)?
  7. YES PLEASE. I mean. *cough* I really would love to explore different face shapes/textures/etc, so "unusual" characters? More than welcome. I don't know if I'm able, per say, but I'm more than willing to become so!
  8. please do! Discord's always okay :^)
  9. At your service! Upper right quadrant is my favorite; the rest are largely practice in perspectives, as I dig his distinctive beard cut/nose bump, there. Happy to revise at request. Also, a debrief on gender expression for future reference, at your discretion!
  10. Hi there! I'm an arts student, although my focus is on the 3d and not the 2d, so I'm working on faces to practice! The premise here is fairly straight-forward: send me a character (or characters) of yours, and I'll draw them in a variety of styles and with a variety of effort. The end product: a doodle page for you (within 1-5 business days), and a little more experience for me. An ideal reference includes: Skin Piccrew/portrait/some idea of non-block shape Brief descriptor of age/personality/gender expression but any one or anything on the spectrum there will do. Examples: Drop a reply and we can hop to it! Looking forward to seeing your darlings. If you'd like, you're also welcome to shoot me a cold DM on Discord. Many blessings, - E.
  11. Hi there! Recently I got back into MC (midterm procrastination) and dug up my old LotC profile and, hey, here we are again. I'm a perpetually anxious writer/roleplayer trying to fill the off-season LARP void with block-shaped adventures. Prone to dirty woodland hippy and the odd chaotic bard OCs, although I expect it to take a minute before I truly test the waters - it's been forever, my memory is fuzzy, and there's so much cool lore to sift through, but I'm super excited to be back and poking around. This looks like an awesome community that I can't wait to rejoin! Orientation, new pals, et cetera welcome.

Biography Parents: Arial M. {Adopted Mum} and Aedan {Adopted Dad} Siblings: Lilac Children: None Extended Family: Arial Jane M. {Adopted Niece}, and Yiri M., {Adopted Niece} Pet(s): A wild falcon named Walter. History: Lived with her parents for the first 8 years of her life. One day, instead of their parents coming through the house smiling, a gloomy Dark Elf woman took their place with a man. She placed Lilac-Scarlet at the time- into a basket on the ocean. She then took Lavender as a slave for humans. Lavender didn't quiiiite agree. She served for a month or two, maybe even three, of running away, when she finally managed to get to Malinor uncaught. From there, she marched onward. It wasn't long before she found Scarlet-renamed Lilac- and they lived with the Mali'aheral. This worked out fine, until the two began feeling awkward in their enviorment. They would continually leave, to return out of the fact they had nowhere to go. Eventually the two would leave forever. Lilac had stayed away this time, and Lavender was distraught. She always felt a tug when she left, to return to where she was accepted. But at the same time, there was such a tug for Lilac, the last biological family left in her life. She left a note stating she would 'Be back soon! Just have to get Lilac!' and left the place. She found Lilac, and pleaded for her to return. She offered her work, her knowledge, her toys, everything, and was saddened and frusterated to find she would not return. Lilac wanted Lavender to stay with her, but that tug to home was back. Lavender was feeling extremly stressed as she sent the sparrow, still young, with a note. It said she was deceased. Lavender occasionally regretted the note, but her life got too busy to worry. At first, everything was fine for, oh, a year. Then, they moved to Anyhow. She turned twelve about a week after. Then, everything was fairly mellowed out for five years. Of course, life didn't let her have it easy. She wasn't an orphan, as she and Lilac began receiving birds from Mary Dawnson, guess who, their Mother. Mary came down to officially allow the sisters to stay with their new family. She ended up being nasty, slapping Lavender, and just ruining the day. After some name-calling, the woman signed the paper and returned to her five children. Apparently, it is very hard to get rid of your birth mother. A year later, she requested the sisters to come to her deathbed. She died that week. Nine years later, Lavender continually attempts to gather materials and build a house of her own. ((Thanks to Lilac herself for the backround, which goes until the escape from slavery, and thanks for reading!))
