To what end do we desire peace? 

It was through strife that I grew up, the same strife that many Adunians do. This difficulty  shapes our people, many of us know this well. The rebellion of Norland, the fall of Cartref Mor and finally the rise of Numendil. This place is now giving us a false worship. It taught us what our ancestors had fought so hard to defend against the war-borne sons of Horen; peace is our end goal. We share this same blood, though diluted, and feel this same call to conflict and bloodshed. It is only with our conscious efforts, and ancestral experience do we turn a blind eye to this calling. We regularly consult our ancestors and speak to them, diving into a wealth of knowledge and experience only attainable by the great houses that no longer walk this earth. They do not call for war, despite being warmongers in their time. Nay, they call for peace, an end to conflict, and a prosperity for small peoples everywhere. Nobody knew this better than the now deposed Lord of Hyspia, Cesar II.

It was he that gave me and my kinsman a home, despite receiving nothing in return. He, who sought an end to conflict and peace. Yet, how did you evil farfolk treat him? A coup. Haense, Balian, Urguan, Numendil, Aaun; make no mistake of Hyspia’s actions. It was not a desired transfer of power, it was a forced abdication. An abdication that only happened, not because Cesar II had no power, not because he was backed into a corner; only because his mind was thinking of us. Thinking of the people who have nobody to fight for them. Victims of war, victims of famine, injustice, prejudice. He knew that internal strife would cause many of his people suffering, and when faced with the decision of giving power or fighting for it, he chose the path that would lead his people to a better era. So I must ask Haense; why they had watched. They  watched as one of the greatest men of our time were forced to abdicate for a council of evil men. Bound by greed and a lust for power, strictly against the Creator’s wishes.

And finally, these two ideas now bring us to the conflict of Caelia. Caelia is a fledgling vassal, made of great men. Proud of their heritage and their people, who do not yet know how to play on the great stage of politics. Instead of allowing a peaceful resolution, letting diplomats talk to each other, and this small incident run its course, You evil men of God, decide to instead forgo your scriptures and scrolls, and push for an unnecessary war. This, I can no longer stand by and watch. So I now implore you, you great nations untainted by greed and evil; Urguan, Aaun, Norland, to leave this alliance, and similarly renounce your position in the Covenant. Do not tie yourself to nations of evil, greed, and sinful acts, lest it reflect poorly on your untainted lands. Numendil, honor your ancestors and what they believe. As well, renounce your position in the covenant.

This purposeful escalation of a claim of banditry, banditry that may not have even happened, resulted only in gain for the ‘victimized’ side. The victimized side of the most powerful army on the continent, certainly nothing more than a joke. A weregild of ten thousand mina, for a small mistake. When such an act happens to the best of us, we do not begin talks of war, battle or pillaging. Nay, especially in such a position of power it is your place to forgive and forget. But you do not.

Many of you may not have heard of my name, I have mostly kept to myself and my kin in my life. Times change, as do the ides of war, and I am to change with them. Ask the Knight-Commander of Hyspia of my genius in battle. Ask the General of Brolwic of my wit. And finally, ask the Marshal of Haense of my reliability. On top of these facts, my worst Ranger is worth five of your best. So if you wish to continue your lustful expedition into the heart of the south, it is We, who will be your strongest opposition.

The Return & Reconciliation

Adunians have fallen too far into the steps of Harren, becoming almost indistinguishable from other Humans. Humans that have killed us for no other reason than the purity of our blood. Many of our kind have left for better lands, taking a chance on emigration, or assimilated into the culture of Canonism. This is a calling for Adunians who still follow the ways of our ancestors, who truly believe in the Gods that have given us our place among the descendants. We are no mere humans-We are of purer blood. The blood of Harren and Sarai.

We must return to the old ways, reconcile with our Gods and progress further from where our forefathers were halted by those who still subjugate us to this day. We will gather South of Krugmar, where we can have our own home, free from the influence of Kingdoms who have persecuted us, and wanted nothing more than our deaths. We will grow stronger, recover our old ways and continue our way of life as the Creator had intended us to live. 

It is now that I call upon all true Adunians; perhaps those who have hidden from assimilation and venerate their ancestors. Those who have lived in anguish, under authoritarian governments who do not respect their kind. But not those who live in the White City, playing Canonist and Human. Nay, not those who have turned a cheek to their forefathers, and those before them.

What homophobic roleplay? I've never in my 6 years on this server have I seen a homophobic encounter. Not in Elf nations, not in Canonist nations, and I've not seen anything in Haelun'or. 

 I've definitely seen my fair share of gay relationships, out in the wild in elvish and canonist nations (balian). Where, they of course, are there and left alone. Anecdotal evidence, sure, but as the premier prejudiced roleplayer on the server I would know if LGBTQ+ people are attacked, because I would be there. 

Point being that

What circumstances led to this ban?

TL:DR I took a guard uniform off of a celianorian guard, celianor got mad and extended a 20 minute crp encounter into two hours, and all through the while annabanana made horrible decisions, clearly favoring one side (not mine) over the other. Sanriu continuously harassed and flamed me and my two friends throughout this entire time and I requested annabanana through dms to do something about it. She just brushed me off and ignored me. Sanriu continously just flamed, harassed, said smart ass shit all the while and I eventually started hitting back, and flaming back since obviously nothing was being done about it. Eventually she stops typing, and I stop typing to them. I then have a discussion with BR0NXS about the crp encounter, and annabanana tells me I am banned for two days for toxicity. I tell her she should feel bad for coming to this verdict, and the ban was extended two days.

I think banning one player but not the other is an extremely disrespectful and distasteful decision by this moderator. Toxicity is always a two way street, and especially since I am only responding to such vehement flame. Sanriu constantly spat out bait and veiled insults at me, and I finally responded when annabanana refused to do anything about it. This situation was handled horribly, and it was painfully obvious Sanriu modshopped for her when she said "i am so glad I dm'ed you" right in the middle of ooc.
I can not retrieve evidence of annabanana's words over discord, as she deleted them from our dms. I apologize.

basically this dude is a freak and can't handle consequences.

In the 2nd encounter (this one in the report) he emoted removing his gag with his own mouth, and then emoted that I removed his gag many times to keep yapping on about some random bull shit in roleplay. I gagged him cuz he was super annoying and shit, kept yappin and didn't emote anything at all. extremely difficult to roleplay with.

First encounter was insane, the dude rolls up into haelunor talkin mad shit about us, then when we arrest him he gets really mad and starts stalling, ignoring emotes, and eventually haelunor rolls up and just lets him go cuz they didnt wanna deal with him.

Maethor Sythaerin practically JUMPS with joy, not unlike a small kitten would once upon a time, as he receives notices of this. He QUICKLY goes to frame it next to the other missive regarding his actions, and proudly smiles as he looks upon them, side by side. 

"My family, and those of pure blood smile upon my actions. Death to the infidels!" He would think to himself.

Maethor Sythaerin rests within his manor, after the slaying of Pamphilos. His thoughts seem to be elsewhere at the time, before the notice is handed to him by the butler of the household. He reads it, before laughing heartily. Then, he takes a pin, and would post it up on his wall, placing his hands on his hips as he admires such a poster.

Endyn Jindle of both infamy and plight, hears of this tragedy befalling the final living member of his entourage. So he doth pray for his fallen brother, the time of his banditry and fatihless looting behind him for good. He begins to ask Luara, ask her to find Philos' soul, find him and give an exception. As he does so, a tear falls from his face, perhaps the last bit he has to give for anything in this world. He takes his bandana, and wipes his face before turning back to look up at the Goi, with renewed sense of direction in life.

Additionally, the post @Fireheart's screenshots refer to may be official rules but they're not in the rules tab, making them virtually impossible for people who don't know where to find the exact post to reference. Moderation should update the rules to include these.

 

Just 'makes ya think' instead of making a point isn't a good way to convey what you would like to see changed, though.
