Briefly explain the lore behind this construct or creature:

Via the Stone Moot, a Pale Knight is ascended into Lordship. This requires an Eidola with an Apparition Cradle that’s holding 15 souls in addition to a Menhir holding another 15. With the help of two mystics and another Eidola, a Lord is created. These Lords are similar to their smaller counterparts, though they are much taller, have Olog strength, and have a -1 to their movement speed, meaning they move at 3 blocks rather than 4 while in CRP. Their mental effects will also worsen in this new state, their living self becoming a distant memory in most. They can be destroyed the same way as Eidolas, though it may take longer for them to bleed out due to having more water than before.

Pale Lords hold thrones rather than proper menhirs. A throne is as large as the Lord themselves and a Lord may only hold one at a time as this is their place of revival. Rather than coming back upon being slain, the Eidola must wait to be revived, the revival requiring a piece of the Pale Lord as well as 3 mystics.

The abilities of a lord are above that of a normal Eidola as they naturally have Menhir Crafting, Phantom Waters, Spirit Core, and Devour, though they lack the ability to store souls within themselves. Due to their larger bodies and more waters, they are able to store 3 weapons within their waters and may wield 2 at once, though having more than one out at a time will cause the Lord to have 2 blocks of movement instead of 3. MArts to alter the Lord’s abilities are also encouraged.

If this construct or creature has some form of aesthetic choice, can you describe how they look?

Zarith is a larger version of his previous self, though his body is much smoother than before.

    Even with the explanation above

Just a question, something I noticed within each of the spells, is you reduced them to merely [3] emote to cast this spell (if connected it takes 2 instead of three) )

    1.[Connect]

    +

    2.[charge]

    +

    3. [cast]

why are you reducing the amount of emotes in spells, which take time to form. The emote count prior was ok within its original ammount.

It's not reducing the emote count. When a spell in Voidal Magic lists an emote count, it almost always means [Connection + X Charge + Cast]. So, for something that says it takes 3 emotes, it would be Connect + Charge + Cast. For whatever reason, in water evocation, it listed spells as Connect + X Cast rather than having the charge and cast. Adding the "charge" simply clarifies it and makes it more like how the other evocations appear. For example, [1 connect + 3 cast] is the same as [1 Connect + 2 Charge + 1 Cast] because each is 4 emotes (3 if already connected)

should there be an amendment instead detailing that children shouldn't be able to inherit/learn it at their age? Or are both of those fine?

Personally, I think it should be limited to anyone above the age of 18, or 16 at the least, to fall in line with general magic rules. Though, Im also biased because I hate child characters with a passion

  4. I pretty much have to agree with everyone else on this. It feels like it's restricting people far too much for something that isn't even a feat in it's current stage. From the age requirements to the fact that some creatures are unable to be "enlightened" even though they have souls(some undead are listed as being unable to be enlightened while also saying they can have corrupted mindscapes), I just don't like the way it's going. It feels weird as well to force certain personalities on people who just want to have some fun with mindscape RP, I generally just don't like it.

As others have said, if people were abusing it, then report them for abusing it. It's not an issue with the lore, it's an issue with who is using it. All this will do is make people write a little before they become a Conduit. You can add as many redlines as you want, but if people are ignoring the redlines in the current write, who's going to stop them from ignoring them in this write?

Perhaps Lust, a want to befriend, a desire to hold such talent. If not, then maybe Envy, jealousy by those who aren’t as skilled as others. Finally, Pride, by both performers and watchers. The Pride of knowing one's own skill, or a feeling of Pride for the performers. All are welcomed to embrace these Three.

Should this lore get accepted, Im already not looking forward to people arguing about how many charges they have on themselves

The mage will be keeping track of the Static charges on people. They must emote how many charges are being added to someone when a spell hits them. This makes it easy for LT/Mods to go back through omni to see when Static is applied. Also, people like me who have their minecraft logs running in the background will also be able to look back through them to see when Static is applied

What magic(s) will you be teaching?

             Earth Evocation

Describe this magic or a creature as a whole:

Earth Evocation is rather simple as it's another Elemental Evocation. First, a connection to the void must be reached. This is done through guidance of the teacher through a ritual that requires a greater mana source: obelisk, tear, voidstalker. A connection is what allows any mage the ability to cast and wield spells at their whim. Once gaining a connection to the void, the Earth Evocationist may reach in and place an anchor to the Earth they wish to conjure, manipulating it to their desires before finally pulling it into the mortal realm through said anchor. So long as the mage is able to focus on the conjured Earth, they are able to control it. Keep in mind, this is NOT actual Earth. Earth conjured with this magic is akin to stone, making rather resilient against all but blunt strikes. Though, it is to note that one cannot see through this earth. At lower tiers, the earth conjured will always take on the hue of different types of stones, such as granite while it can look like gems and glowstone at later tiers. Finally, sand is also able to be summoned, frequently being used for blinding rather than causing true damage to people.

Are there different sections or subsections of magic? Can those be elaborated upon?

There are three main sections, Sand Offensive, Earthen Defensive, and Earthen Offensive. Each one is as it sounds, dealing with either sand or earth and having defensive or offensive spells.

Can you give an example of a casting emote, of a spell of your choice?

Elexia's irises transformed into sky blue hues, the same colored aura beginning to flow across her finger tips as she looked forwards.

Elexia pushed her hands forwards, blue gems forming around her wrists as she pointed her palms towards the ground. In front of her, small gems began to poke out of the ground.

Slowly, the blue gems began to grow upwards in front of the magus, Elexia's hands slowly rising! The earthen wall built upwards over the course of [1] emote, becoming a total of seven meters in length and two meters in height.

Can you give an example of a teaching-emote (interacting with another) of a spell of your choice?

Elexia's eyes gained a sky blue hue as she let off a light breath. She turned to [student] and began to explain, "Today, we will be learning about Rocks and Spikes. It's a rather useful spell and I'll start off with Rocks. You will summon forth earth and form it into a large ball of stone. This stone can be thrown at people and things and will deal significant blunt damage." She explained.

    [Student] would connect, nodding.

Elexia lifted up her right hand, squinting a bit as a blue gem formed within her grasp, it slowly growing outwards and becoming a large sphere of a stone-like substance. "You're able to create multiple of these and fire them at the same time and in the same direction, if you wish. Go ahead and summon one." She spoke, nodding for them to do the same.

[Student] lifted their hand, a ball of stone forming in their hand.

Elexia nodded slightly as she saw such, "Perfect. Now, you'll want to throw it forwards." With that, her right hand launched forwards, the orb of earth being launched forth into the distance, hitting a tree. It would cause the tree to become busted, creating a large dent. "Go ahead and do the same for me."

    [Student] would do the same.

Elexia clapped her hands, "Perfect! Practice that a bit and next time we'll work on summoning Spikes instead of Rocks."

Say your student powergames during or after teaching, how do you reprimand that?

I'd likely DM them about it and ask what happened. Once hearing what happened, if I were to confirm that they had powergamed, I'd see if it was an accident or on purpose. Either way, I'd make sure they they correct their behavior and help clarify anything that needs to be clarified. Like, if they do wrong emote counts, I'll make sure tell them the correct amount of emotes and ask for them to give me an example of the correct amount. In the end, I'd report what happened between myself and the student to the ST who first contacted me(if such had happened) to make sure they know what's up

What magic(s) will you be teaching?

             Animii Crafting

Describe this magic or a creature as a whole:

Animii crafting is a Further Alchemy feat that requires one to have T3 in alchemy in order to learn. It is based around Lifeblood, an alchemical, oil-like substance that is used to bring life to the crafter's creations. Mainly, it is used to create different modules that serve different functions: Intelligence Vessel(Brain), Visual Module(Eyes), Voice Module(voice box), Audio Module(ears), and the Obedience Vessel which is used by crafters to have their automatons obey them. There are five main groupings of Automatons, otherwise called "Tiers". The first tier deals with prosthetics and other small creations and don't hold sentience. Tier two deals with small creatures, such as birds and inventions roughly the size of a backpack, the creatures occasionally holding sentience. Third tier is made for creatures larger than a backpack but it is limited to the size of a golden retriever. Fourth is for non-player, humanoid-sized automatons as well as mounts. Finally, the fifth tier is for CAs such as the true Automaton CA and the Machine Spirit CA. Automatons and small inventions are made with hard materials, like wood and metal, to prevent them from easily breaking down. Though, they are also usually compact with cogs and pullies that can manipulate parts of the creation.

Are there different sections or subsections of magic? Can those be elaborated upon?

    Crafting and Innovation

This comes in the form of a few things, the main one being prosthetics. By creating limbs or organs, such as eyes or lungs, out of specific materials and lifeblood, one can create parts that may be added to others. In order to bind a prosthetic to a person, their blood must be added to the part's lifeblood. For larger prosthetics, it will require a gear heart to be made and placed at the base of the limb, forcing the lifeblood to pump throughout the newly made body part. All prosthetics are rather easy to break, taking a maximum of three blunt strikes when talking about arms, legs, fingers, etc. Small upgrades may be given to prosthetics, such as blades that flick out of fingers or a storage compartment being held within the arm, however this will make any prosthetic require ST signature.

Odd inventions may also be created, such as tools that change shapes and backpacks with arms, etc. They are rather easy to be made but cannot effect combat without the use of a MArt. Finally, there are servants and pets. These are generally noncombative things that lie within tiers 2-4, the latter including mounts like horses. Generally, it'll take between 2-3 blunt strikes to break them and 5-8 emotes for them to bleed out, depending on the tier.

    Automatons

Crafters are only able to make 3 Automatons per 3 IRL months, they are soulless creatures made from bits of metal, occasionally wood, and lifeblood, though other inorganic/dead organic materials may be used. Within the center of all automatons is a Gearheart that's made with redstone, cogs, springs, and a precious gem or stone that's placed at the core of the heart-shaped piece. This pumps the lifeblood throughout the automaton, making it able to move. These creatures are made to be humanoid in shape and are almost always equipped with different Vessels/Modules to allow them to experience the world around them. The different sizes of automatons also give them different strengths, speeds, and intelligences, though they cannot be larger than an olog or smaller than a halfling.

    Machine Spirits

Machine spirits are made when a soul-bearing person infused some of their blood into the husk of an automaton as well as adding gold/magegold the the gearheart. This will allow a person to have their soul jump into the husk rather than be sent to the Monks when they die. However, should a Machine Spirit die without any leftover Husks, they will be hard-PKed.

Can you give an example of a casting emote, of a spell of your choice?

Itulan set down a large piece of paper holding all of their designs and measurements for a prosthetic arm. They brought over some metal rods, first connecting some of the larger lines together to create a rough skeleton of the limb, one that would hold all the inner parts. Quietly, they hammered away, ensuring that each piece would remain snug and not move around other than when they needed to. Next, they brought over the Gear Heart and attached it to the base of the arm, holding it in place with a few metal rods bolts so it wouldn't wiggle around too much, though it would still be able to pump properly.

After some time of working on it, Itulan finally got around to grabbing all the tubing for the skeleton, carefully letting it weave throughout the creation so it would reach into every finger and joint within the prosthetic. They attached each of its ends to the gear heart that rested at the base of the limb. Though, they left one tube unattached for the time being as they first poured in a good amount of mortal blood before beginning to fill the whole thing with lifeblood from a vat they'd created earlier. Once it was filled to the brim, and overflowing a bit, they connected it back to the gear heart.

Getting to the final steps, Itulan added in all the cogs and pullies, making sure they attached to the different parts of the skeleton that would hold the plates. The cogs were generally centered around all the joints with the pullies connecting them together so they could move with fine control. Finally, they went about hammering on all of the steel plates that covered the outside of the arm. Each one was held in place by bolts that were nailed into different parts of the skeleton they'd created earlier.

Can you give an example of a teaching-emote (interacting with another) of a spell of your choice?

Itulan sat down with [Student], placing down a large bag of herbs as well as a sheet that appeared similar to a recipe. "Today, we'll be working on creating Lifeblood. It's the essence of all Automatons and all Animii creations. It takes quite a few herbs, but you can easily just do a mass mundane extraction on all of them to get what you need. So, what you need is Connection three, Life three, Growth two, Strength one, Balance two, Endurance three, Grace two, and Order three. Go ahead and extract that from these." They pushed over the giant bag of herbs.

[Student] proceeded to perform the extraction, picking out all of the required symbols before setting them to the side.

While [student] worked, Itulan explained, "This will be used similarly to blood in Mankind, it will generally exist within tubes inside Automatons and will also fuel different Vessels. We will go more in depth with those later, but they are what let Automatons have senses as well as think like we do." Finally, they checked over the picked out Symbols before nodding and continuing on. "Great. Now, you will take this charcoal powder and pour it into a vat of water. Mix it carefully and then add each symbol in order, being sure to mix until it's uniform each time. This will give you the lifeblood. Though, if you want it to look a certain color, just add a bit  of dyes." They spoke before motioning for [student] to finish up the creation.

[Student] would mix together the charcoal powder and water before adding the symbols just as Itulan said.

Pretty sure the pvp pk clause for klones was already removed since it originally specified pvp or crp death. I'm pretty sure all of the CAs/MAs that have PK clauses already don't count pvp- though I do agree with enforcing it on ones that do push for pvp over crp. This could be easily abused though by having all of your friends vote in favor of pvp and having you abstain or vote no to avoid consequence....

If it is the case already, it's not listed on the lore pieces, so it deserves clarification. Not sure about what happened with Klones and as for people abusing it, I'm sure ST could catch stuff like that happening and enforce the timers anyways/give out warnings. This is mainly to protect these CAs/MAs from PVP cases they don't want to be part of. As it stands, I believe that most of these creatures wish to engage in CRP over PVP as it brings a better story. Why punish people for getting trapped in an unwanted PVP scenario?
