             Blight Healing

     

    Describe this magic or a creature as a whole:

             

    The druid’s gift of healing blight is something that most druids are able to learn, once they reach a certain tier of Communion. This gift that druids gain is very unique, consisting of cleansing, healing, and then revitalizing land or animals from the corruption or taint of things. In consideration say, a section of a forest, such as flowers, and grass has been stomped out by an army. A druid with the gift of blight healing could simply travel to the lands and begin to pour her energy into the lands, to give the stomped out nature, nature, and color. Though most nature can be healed using this gift, the basic descendant races are not, unlike the creatures of the fae- such being sprites, treants, and more… Finally this ability as seen what it can do takes up time and a bunch of energy from the druid being rather tiring. For example, a druid could not simply heal a section of a forest and then go straight into combat.

    There are not.

     

    Can you give an example of a casting emote, of a spell of your choice?

             

    [!] Renae Arvellon, The Caracal Druid would seem to slowly move over towards a flower now, bringing her hand up some as she then goes to push down upon the flower as if attempting to kill the flower. Renae Arvellon’s eyes would seem to flutter as the white hue in her eyes, begins to glow with a brighter hue. Now as she watched over the flower, she’d begin breathing slowly.

     

    [!] As the druidess continued to gather her energies within her self listening to the sounds of nature. Building up more and more as she did this. Soon after as she finished up building up most of her energies, she’d lift her hands slightly a white-hued stream of her natural energies from her hands. 

     

    [!] The white-hued stream of energy would seem to slowly continue to move from her palms as each stream from each finger tip would come together within the middle of her a small form being shaped into existence. A white fairy-like figure now formed as it began to move out towards the flower now circling it.

     

    [!] As all of her energies flower into the fairy figure and into the flowers, supplying it completely with the natural energies of The Caracal Druids.

     

    [!] Over time after Renae pushed the energies into the ‘slightly crushed’  flower. The flower would slowly begin to take a little more color becoming more vibrant, its stem becoming much darker in its green tint. Now as the druidess continued to push her energy she’d begin saying a soft prayer to the Aspects. The druidess nodded as she finished up such, her energies almost completely going to revitalizing such flower. As this job was done, the female nodded once more, the white hue in the woman’s eyes would seem to fade along with the fairy ‘hovering’ closer to Renae as the leftover energy was placed ‘back within’

    Teacher: [!] The Caracal Druid nodded to her sapling druid student with a faint smile nod going to place a small sickly flower in front of the sapling druid. “Shall we begin with the basics, of this amazing gift, dear brother? For now, connect for me.” The druidess nodded as she stayed calm looking over the student as they did such.

     

    Teacher: [!] The Caracal Druid remained calm continuing to watch over her student connect a faint smile upon her face the student did such. “Now I want you to slowly begin to build up your energies from within yourself.” She’d offer then a faint smile. “Remember to stay calm dear-” She’d chuckle softly watching over.

     

    [!] The Student of Renae would do as they were told to do, going to first connect with the right amount of connection emotes for their tier. (T4)  

     

    Teacher: [!] “Good Stay calm continue to build up that energy and slowly then go to take the next step, pushing that natural energy of yours towards your hands and allowing it to simply flower out towards the flower.  Don’t try to attempt to make any shapes yet, right now we shall take it slow.”

     

    [!] The Student nodded to Renae as they then began to push their energy within and now out towards the flower a faint smile upon their face as they did such a bead of sweat coming from their forehead as they continued with this ability. 

     

    Teacher: [!] Renae nodded with a grin upon her face. “Allow your energy to be placed inside the flower and then giving ‘more-lift’ to it.”. 

     

    [!] The Student then nodded as they did what they were told to do by Renae a smile placed upon their face as they continued on. The flower would then slowly begin to return to its natural color. Its roots gathering themselves strongly around the soil underneath. The student now allows the retraction of their energy as the connection faded from them now. 

     

    Teacher: [!] The Caracal Druid nodded. “Wonderful Job, Dear!” She nodded offering a faint smile as she nodded. “That is all for now, I want you to rest… Van’ayla.” She’d then say going to push herself up and move off swiftly.

    As I have said multiple times in different Teacher-Applications, if this situation ever popped up with one of my students I would firstly have a talk with them going over the basics of that spell, such as the emote counts and all of the redlines. Secondly, I would make sure they know the consequences for such, making sure they don’t do it again. If they continuously do it I would then tell them that I will be dropping them and contact  ST and drop the student. My reasoning for dropping the student being that they continued to powergame after I asked them to stop and gave some help/advice to them so they won’t accidentally do it again.

    Dear all Citizens of The Kingdom of Hanseti-Ruska,

     

    I’m Mariya Sofia Draghicescu. Over the time of arriving at the Capital of Hanseti-Ruska, Karosgrad I have seen a bit of how things are supposed to work around the city. I first got here when I was around seven years of age. I then became a ward of Her Majesty, Queen Isabel, learning how to be a proper woman and lady of the courts and city. I then began working on my profession of the Arts, I have written a ballet and in the future will begin working on my very own play. I have now taken the responsibility to attempt to give my family and other kin a name within the nation, so I push myself, even more, to attempt taking on the position of Tribune.

    Even as I continue to work in the profession of the arts, I will not allow that to get in front of my work in the Duma if I were to be placed ‘elected’ into the Royal Duma. 

    You might have concerns about how young I am but I would like to say I have been taught well. I have seen my future sister-in-law Miss Valerie D’Airelle who was placed on the Duma as an Alderman, and watched closely as she worked. I promise to all of you, if you vote for me I will strive for peace and equal rights. Might I also say that my young age gives a fresh look over the duma and many new ideas that can create many different bills and hopefully future laws.

    As a Tribune I wish to be a strong and bold representative for the people, including all other races, such as the elven community, and et cetera… I will represent them by attempting to create more jobs than they acquire whilst living in the Karosgrad. This can be shown by encouraging the people to run more through the city-wide elections.     How does this settlement offer a unique niche not already found in an existing polity on the server? I would like to say this settlement will offer a unique roleplay and style for people of LoTc by adding something a little new, as it is multiple different cultures to make one big culture to serve most who are looking for some out of the ordinary things to do upon the server. Along with the culture the settlement is to be something that prides itself on basic child education and the education of the arts. One final thing I would like to say is this settlement shall be unique in their focused and main religion; The Faith of Canon, the Bravunians pride themselves on having a strong connection with their God, The Creator. Serving the best they can to reach out to him and serve him.

     

    How does your settlement tie to the greater lore and narrative set by the community on LotC?: Our settlement ties to the LotC community's lore by having similar cultures to other cities, nations, and or settlements. This can be seen and one culture from both our settlement and the Holy Orenian Empire, the settlement will have aspects of the Illatian (Italian) culture, this being said our main hope is to be kind of a hub for all the other human and unique cultures upon LotC almost like a small mixing bowl of cultures to give us more role-play and activity. Along with this, the settlement will offer more role-play to get others from around the map to come to lands have different parties, dinners, or even balls. Saying such, we believe that we will hold a suitable place within the LotC lore.

    Herblore is the gift a druid can learn if they find an advanced druid well enough in the gift. This ability gives the druid the gift to enhance and decrease different properties of a herb/flora. For example such can be done in increasing the healing property of a certain herb a druid doctor wishes to use. Why they can 'modify' the properties of a plant, they cannot exactly remove a property from something. In the beginning, for most drui is complicated to learn this gift taking most of your energy and a well-trained mind in communion and some of the best focus.

    Renae Arvellon would then turn all of her focus towards the mint in front of her. The druidess would nod as she did such, listening into the herb.

     

    As she listened to the plant's voice, she would nod once more, going to exchange some thoughts communing with said plant asking it to increase the potency of itself with the help of her energy.

     

    Soon enough, Renae would now begin to start pouring her natural energies into the said herb.

     

    As the woman continued to pour her energy into the plant, she would nod some more, the plant communing back. 'Yess...' 

     

    Finally, the herb would slowly begin to work with her energy attempting to do as she wanted it to do.

     

    Finally, as she held a steady connection and continued to pour energy, the smell and taste of mint would begin to increase slightly.

     

    Renae Arvellon would nod, communing 'Thank you' before going silent; the druidess would shake her head, fluttering her eyes as the white hue returned to its passive white color.

    Lathor would offer a sigh; his attention would now shift directly towards the mint in front of him.

     

    "Good... Begin to commune, asking it to increase its properties."

     

    The student would nod, going to commune with the mint asking it to increase its properties.

    "Good... Good... Keep your focus, dear." she nodded. "Now begin to fill your energy and pour it into the mint.

     

    The student would nod, staying focus on his energy building up within, shaking her head before covering the herb with her palm as her energy began to pour into the herb.

     

    [At this point, I would ask them to role out of 20... 1-6 is it goes terribly wrong... 7-10 it just fails the herb ignoring the druid or more maybe attempting but failing as the power the herb received was not enough... 11 and up I would say is a pass :D] For now we shall say they passed lol

  10. [!] The Caracal Druid would be sitting within her home in front of the fire, seeming to stare deep into it. Pots and such messed over the home's counters as she sat there. Now the Druidess would push herself up, slowly moving to grab a metal plate and begin placing some food on it. Now, as she went to sit back down in her seat in front of the fireplace, she would suddenly pause the tone of nature going on a halt within the grove and then resuming the song for now rather sad and elegant. "Syllia- No... Not Syllia this time." The lari started softly falling to her knees soon enough, the plate falling as well, shattering on the floor. "I- Bolon?" she'd say, now going silent looking to the ground; the woman would sit and wait for anything though nothing happened a day had passed. The Druidess awake tears were running down her face as she heard a small nudge upon the door.

    "H-Hello?" The woman said before pushing herself up going to the door, the crackling of the glass plate being heard as she goes on and over them whilst moving towards the door. "Hm?" pushing the door open, she'd spot a fox with a letter, going to take the note opening it up swiftly. She'd then begin to read out loud. "No-No-" she'd state flatly. "Aspects No." she'd then say once. "T-This is my fault." Now slamming the door on the fox, she would release screams. The screen was now fading as she screamed on... [!]

The woman on the floor crying screaming inside of her home. "No! Not yet... Why take her!? My First Love, My best friend... My Sister." She'd say looking up from the wooden floor of her home to nowhere in particular now going silent. "I-... Always and Forever." She'd state softly as she continued to to weep for her fallen sister. The druidess would then bawl her right hand into a fist slamming it into the floor around four times. The 'thill's hands beginning to bleed slightly. Now as she did this she would move to lift her head up from looking down, going to move over to rest her back upon the wooden walls of the home pulling her knees closer to her face before whispering. "Always and Forever". The druidess would now continuing to weep for the fallen.

    Druidic Communion

     

    Describe this magic or a creature as a whole:

    Druidic communion is the gift a newly attuned druid learns when they’re first connected to nature and made a sapling druid. This gift allows the druid to be able to communicate and link with things of the natural lands. Druidic Communion can be used in  different ways such as asking flora to move as they guide such along with speaking to the natural beast. As the druid grows older and becomes more custom to nature the gifts will grow easier also being able to learn different gifts such as entling creation.

     

     

    Are there different sections or subsections of magic? Can those be elaborated upon?

    You can say that there are small subsections to this magic. Communion, control, and nature's infusion. The gift or ability to commune is a gift which allows the druid to be able to listen and speak to nature and such. Next the gift of control is not actually a druid controlling nature, but instead communing with the thing they wish to ‘control’ and asking it to do things with the help of the druid's energy. Nature's infusion is when a druid uses his or her own druidic energy placing it within something such can be seen in making ents as well putting energy in crystals and such.

    **A forest full of spruce trees, the sound of a running river can be heard.**

     

    *Renae Arvellon would continue to move through the spruce forest within her hand, laying one small seed, and in the grasp of  the other hand would be an open map and a huge purple ‘X’ upon the spot she was moving to. Soon enough Renae would make her way up to an open meadow field a huge amount of sunflowers and such along the small hills. Renae would then lean down slowly going to place the seed within the ground  and then covering the seed up with fresh soil.*

     

    *Renae would then slowly sit down in front of where she ‘planted’ the seed within the field, then going to slowly close her eyes, as she does such she would begin taking deeper breaths as she then opens her eyes, a bright white hue now around such emitting from them. Would slowly look down to where she planted the seed listening closely to the voice of the seed, it being rather faint.*

     

    *Renae Arvellon would continue to focus upon the voice of the seed before slowly closing her eyes as she did this the druid and seed sent ‘visions’ back and forward twice to each other soon enough Renae would allow her energy to begin flowing into the seed tendrils of her white hue from her eyes would begin to seep into the ground going into the seed*

     

    **Slowly the seed would begin to grow the stem rising ever so slightly out the soil as Renae allowed her energy to flow into it.**

     

    **The seed would slowly begin to grow the roots underground growing deeper into the ground whilst the trunk of the tree begins to grow to thicken as it begins to grow around a meter tall.**

     

    *Renae would continue to pour her energy into the seed, her hand slowly shaking though it is not very noticeable. The seed would continue to grow, becoming around three meters tall. Soon enough Renae would stop pouring her energy into the newly formed sapling tree, going to push herself up and then flutter her eyes a little the white hue fading from her eyes as she grab her belongings and set off.*

    Renae Arvellon (Teacher): “Alright Let us begin, Ti” *the druid would say leaning slightly upon her druidic staff.* “Remember that this is your first lesson and to not give up for it just continues to get easier the farther you go down this path.” 

     

    Lathor Kealsor (Student): “I- alright, I’m ready to begin when you are.” *the student nodded.*

     

    Renae Arvellon:  “Alright, wonderful let’s begin.” *she nodded slightly* “Sit down for me and close your eyes, begin to meditate. Put your breathing at a good pace for you. I want you to shift your focus off yourself and onto the sounds around you.”

     

    Lathor Kealsor: “Mm.” *he’d nod slowly before going to sit down on the grassy land, before going to close his eyes.  After doing such his breathing pace would slow down, he would be gathering the most air he can in one breath.*

     

    Lathor Kealsor:  *The student druid would continue to meditate allowing his breathing to grow deeper before allowing his focus to trail elsewhere, to the sounds around him. Such being the birds chirping and the wind rustling the leaves of the trees behind him.*

     

    Renae Arvellon: “Mhm.” *The druidess nodded* “Now I want you slowly begin to pull the muffled sound of nature to the front of your mind.” *she’d say continuing to lean on her staff watching over the student.*

     

    Lathor Kealsor: *Would slowly begin to focus upon the hum of natures within the back of his head slowly moving it to the front of his mind.* “m” *he’d then let out continuing to focus*

     

    Lathor Kealsor:  *Continued on with this as the hum was in the front of his mind he would then slowly open his eyes a light blue hue coming off such, along with the little necklace he wore it would seem to slowly begin to glow a brighter red being a fire kuila crystal upon a  sturdy string.” 

     

    Renae Arvellon: “Wonderful, Wonderful! Very well done.” *She’d say in excitement as the student accomplished such.* “Now Listen in to the nature around you.” 

    (I would most likely do the emotes of nature for the student, so the student can have some example emotes to add to his later on)

     

    **The nature around the student would begin waving with the wind back and forward as the sapling druid communed. He would notice that only the first meter around him would be actually speaking so he may understand, and it would seem as if they are saying. “Hello! Mmm, you seem to be rather new to this.”**

     

    Renae Arvellon: “Mmm, now speak quietly and very clear so they may understand. This is useful for in the future when you need to request a certain action of the flora and such” *She’d say before allowing him to do such.*

     

    Lathor Kealsor: “A-Alright” *Would shiver for a moment at the floras words before speaking in a whisper as he was told* “Hello, um. Yes I’m new. I’m Lathor the Cabbage Druid.”

    **The flora would slowly and softly then respond.** “Oh, well good luck druid. Farewell.” **The flora around him would slowly allow their voices to fade.**

     

    Renae Arvellon: “Alright, if they are done speaking you can stop communing Brother. For this I want you to just close your eyes and draw the hum of nature to the back of your mind once more.”

     

    Lathor Kealsor: “O-Okay” *The young druid would nod slightly a smile upon his face before closing his eyes. The druid would go into a semi-meditation state, slowly ‘dragging’ the hum of nature's choir to the back of his mind. *

     

    **As the young druid did this nature's choir would be like a very small whisper within his mind once more.**


     

     

     

    Say your student powergames during or after teaching, how do you reprimand that?

    If this situation ever popped up with one of my students I would firstly have a talk with them going over the basics of that spell, such as the emote counts and all of the redlines. Secondly, I would make sure they know the consequences for such, making sure they don’t do it again. If they continuously do it I would then tell them that I will be dropping them and contact  ST and drop the student. My reasoning for dropping the student being that they continued to powergame after I asked them to stop and gave some help/advice to them so they won’t accidentally do it again.

    Briefly explain the lore behind this construct or creature:

             

    Sprites are small winged creatures that come from a realm called the Eternal Forest. The bodies of a sprite are very natural meaning they come from plants and different flora. Once a Fae-Ring is underneath a Full-Moon a passage is opened allowing the Fae-Creatures to travel from The Eternal Forest to the Mortal Realm being trapped into such. When travelling between realms the sprite that formed within The Eternal Forest would seem to die leaving the small body behind in such a realm, when finally making it through the passageway and touching the mortal realm it would seem they come in a ethereal or spirit form, this form will slowly begin to take natural resources around it beginning to make a new body to allow the spirit to live in. Sprites are somewhat like to the different races with their bodily functions having a main core, such as a human's heart and such. Each sprite is capable of making a substance that is very similar to the location they lived in within the fae realm, this making them very unique creatures that many alchemist attempt to find and capture to use there substances for alchemal purposes. The first of three domains being the nightfall domain sprites from this area make tears that become a liquid reagent which may be cried out and then collected, this has the symbols of  Death x2, Dark x2, Poison x1, and Silence x1. The second domain is called the Dayward lands, sprites from this domain have breath like dust, pixie dust in fact, the symbols of this being, life x2, growth x2, balance x1, light x1. The third and final domain is what is called the twilight domain, the sprites from this domain have blood like sap that may become a liquid reagent, this is collected when a sprite has a wound self-inflicted and then will be collected it having the symbols of, strength x2, vigour x2, rage x1, rigidity x1. 

    Sprites do not exactly have a soul that functions like a normal day-to-day descendants making them incapable of learning any magic once so ever. A small weakness that they are very vulnerable to is called blight they are affected to this as nature would be affected. Sprites do have blood that contains different things that keep them alive and such, this making them able to bleed out if they were to get cut and such. One of the main weak points that sprites have are their wings holding the biggest percentage of the blood within their body, the wings being very delicate as well. Another weakness to sprites is fire and feet, since they are not strong and buff creatures, making them very easily burned and squashed if they do not fly away quickly enough. If a sprite is killed their spirit is reincarnated much like it does when they are within the Eternal Forest. 

    As sprites go through their various stages and such of reincarnation they have the good chance of developing remarkable intelligence. Making them completely more intelligent then a normal day-to-day bug or plant, though not being able to learn full languages. Though sprites do continue to have continuous childish manners through their lives, lacking knowledge mainly on descendant customs and traditions. 

    Sprites have three different abilities, the first ability being natures communion this basically means that they are able to speak through communion to plants, animals and other fae and or druids.  This is an ability that works passively through a 15 meter/block radius.

    The second ability is communion voicing this is very similar to how a fae-ring works allowing unattuned descendants to have a very small connection and interaction to the voice of nature.

    The third and last ability a sprite has is called toxin, this is an ability used in combat situations when released through a sprites skin and reaches a descendants skin it makes them very dizzy and overwhelmed though this mist cannot be collected by anyone and used for later use.
