Kai’ya grew up with her adventurous Rassid mother, and had no memory of her father or whether she has ever met him. Despite that, she was never bothered by the fact that she doesn’t have a father in her life, and happily traveled around Atlas with her mother, who was a trader who focused on selling many different flora. Precisely, she had many mostly permanent buyers from all over the realm that largely purchased Cactus Green, Shadeleaf, and Gislocinovi. Since her mother had many buyers from all over the realm and her most popular resources were all from different biomes, they often didn’t stay to long in one place at a time. The longest Kai’ya remembers staying in one place is maybe a little over a month. Majority of her child and teenage years were spent with her mother and learning the do’s and don’t’s when it comes to trading, learning extensive knowledge of many different types of flora, along with helping to collect resources. During these times, Kai’ya developed much of her curious and adventurous nature from her mother, who did not have much boundaries when it came to opportunities to learn a story or two to tell to her many friends from all around the realm.
When Kai’ya turned fifteen, her mother started putting more pressure on her to learn the “Arts of Trade,” and soon Kai’ya was collecting resources for herself instead of her mother to sell. Following her mother, she also focused on collecting and selling the never-ending types of flora. Since she grew up on the art and knew many of her mother’s clients for when it came to trading, she had a lucky start and already had many people who knew her and were willing to be a repetitive buyer. Once the time came where she was nearing eight-teen, her mother was ready to kick her out of companionship and Kai’ya was ready to be kicked out of companionship, her natural curiousness for the world she’s already seen much of having prepared her to start her own adventure and meet many new people who she was sure to become friends with. The day she turned eight-teen was also the last time she saw her mother (at least for the time currently being), for they had not set up any means to meet up again and hoped on fate that one day they would just naturally see each other again, both with new stories of the people they have met and adventures they had ended up participating in.
Kai’ya, now aged twenty-four, continues to travel and looking for adventure. She’s a self-sufficient, curious creature who’s always open to knowledge and learning new abilities and talents. She’s learned much since she turned eight-teen, and now has learned a capable knowledge of basic alchemy, which is a skill and hobby she heavily focuses on. She has learned basic self-defense, yet has only armed herself with a shitty, makeshift dagger that always remains in her boot. She also despises walking and really wants a donkey.
