“With the Eagles' foresight, we reign victorious.” After the recent soiree during the Symposia Pragma upon the Aquilae lake, the Comital house of Vuiller has seen fit to announce the coming hunt of a certain feathery being upon the diddyfunkle laced lake; that of ducks. Whether it was due to the food provided during the celebrations being granted, the slippery beings coming out with the influx of people or otherwise, there is a bit too many upon our waters and they need culling so as to not endanger the rest of the lake life. Arms and ammunition will be provided, though it’s encouraged to bring your own for a contest of duck shooting! The weight of the quarry will be taken upon the end, seeing who is the ultimate hunter upon the lake - a prize provided in turn. The ducks caught will be prepared into a meal for those attending and the attendees will enjoy a feast of diddyfunkle duck, among other Aquilae delicacies upon the finishing of the hunt. Since then, Sir Rev Vuiller had heralded the construction of the city, having passed on upon its conclusion and a statue risen in his honor, his wife, Dame Diana Vuiller having followed shortly afterwards. Ledicort, the son of Rev, went on to become the Seneschal, now called Amiratus, making what is now the second Royal Vuiller Chamber. Ledicort had seen us through the Cloudbreaker siege, bringing together nearly the entirety of Almaris with his work. Since then, varying members of the family have taken up varying chamber chairs, roles within the government, military and palace and have sacrificed their lives for that of Balian. It is by the grace of God and the counsel of Our court that we do invest in Sir Peter D’Arkent as the County of Salia. As peer of the Kingdom of Balian, they shall hold in trust Our Royal Throne for the duration of their service. They are compelled to maintain the law of Our realm, to peacefully abide Our rule, and to rise in Our defence when necessary. We do establish that the succession of this County of Salia will be hereditary; upon their death, this title shall be inherited by their successor unless otherwise promulgated by Our command.
