  1. Constellations Authored by: Leandra Laraethryn Genre: Science Constellations are collections of bright stars that form patterns. Stars a bright circles of light that appear to be dotting the night sky. One scientist has theorized that our sun is also a star much like those seen in the constellations. Often times these groups of stars represent animals or creatures. These stars, though looking like they are close together actually are far apart. Many Descendents use these constellations for different facets of their culture. The Haeseni Zodiac is a fantastic example of the utilization of constellations as part of one's history and culture. This zodiac system was based off of six of the main constellations, as well as the moon. The first constellation is Morrighei, often seen as the mythical queen of the hitherlands. The second constellation represented by the Harseni Zodiac is Gorm. Gorm is seen as a three-eyed crow. Garundonrech is the third constellation. This collection of stars forms the pattern of a wrym. The fourth constellation in the Haeseni Zodiac is Osbjor the Champion of Giants. The fifth constellation is called the Wopperklaw. This constellation takes the form of Koltin, an infamous cursed magus. The final of the Haeseni Constellations is Frysklund, known as the Northern Drake. The Valah use this zodiac system as justification for certain personality traits for people born during certain times of the year. Though, there is absolutely no scientific backing for those claims and it is simply pseudoscience. Constellations are not pseudoscience however and simply are groupings of bright stars that the Descendant brain is able to recognize patterns with. The night sky is filled entirely with constellations. It is theorized that there are over fifty constellations that can be seen from the silver towers of Haelun’or in Vailor.
  2. Caestella Elibar’acal dabbed while making lemon tarts for the orphaned children she had been taking care of, unbothered by being considered a Mali’ata and living her best life.
  3. Caestella would smile warmly as she read over the missive as it eventually made its way to her. She let out a sigh as she took in the warm sea breeze that was blowing through her ship. She put the missive in the filing cabinet marked important. The infamous mali’aheral is relieved for the truth to be set free soon.
  4. Caestella Elibar’acal remembers how the Kharajyr tried to sacrifice mali’thill children last time they were granted unconditional citizenship in the Silver State. She turns to a random elf in a undisclosed library after reading the missive. “This will not go over well...”
  5. Marzoss Devione walks into the garden outside the manor. She looks down at the body giving it a small kick before shrugging. “Eh more fertilizer and mystery meat for the pasta.” ((This is obviously a meme response and a void, you got me good though ?
  6. Caestella Elibar’acal cackles from the depths of the Aureon Manor. She rolls over in bed and turns to Eryn with a massive grin on her expression. “Time to take their books like they took my oem’iian away from me.”
  7. Caestella Elibar’acal read over the missive in utter confusion and shock. Her fingers would crinkle at the edge of the paper as her eyes flamed lavender. The porcelain teacup that was floating, full of Earl Grey tea, would instantly drop to the ground and shatter over the floor in the elfess' office. "Why does does he lie? I told him three elven days ago I was resigning to focus on the betterment of my oem'iians' lives and my Path to Purity. How is it my fault that Malaurir Lazul is not around for my lessons?" Teardrops would fall from the elfess' face as she reread over the missive to ensure she read it properly, her voice would be crackly as she spoke to her eldest daughter as her fourteen year old twins watched from the doorway upon hearing the teacup break. “I can’t believe I am losing you when I have done everything in my life to protect you and the State. Kae llun my loves...Kae llun.”
  8. [!] Missives would be distributed throughout the Silver City by a small army of Uherian, bearing the mark of a missive from the Okarir’tayna. Resignation of the Okarir’tayna Blessed Citizenry, Ahern ito nae’leh, blessed citizens of silver. For allowing me to be a positive impact during my twenty-year long tenure as Okarir’tayna. However, the time has come for me not to only be a haelun, but better myself as a Mali’thill as a whole entity. As this is against my better judgement, I must do it for my oem’iian and my Path to Purity. I still adore serving the Diarchy of Silver, but as a famed statement presents: “ all good things must come to an end”, unfortunately. As a departure gift a new Okarir’tayna I have personally selected will lead in my stead. With blessing from elSohaer, Uppori Visaj shall be named my successor as Okarir’tayna. I am proud to have beared witness to the progression of Laureh’thilln to becoming the strong, independent nation that it is today and for the decades that follow. Maehr’sae hiylun’ehya is of utmost importance for the position of Okarir’tayna. That is why I saw Uppori Visaj personally, to be the perfect fit for upholding that standard. Always remember, that it is you, blessed child of silver, that shall forge the paths of the new generations and ensure the sanctity of our purity. As well as the fact that yoga rejuvenates the mind, body, and soul; the snap, crackle, and pops of your nimble bones shall forever be remembered. liewyn'Larihei eltaeleh walehe ohn vallein eltaliyna walehe maehr'sae hiylun'ehya Signed, Caestella Elibar’acal, Former Okarir’tayna
  9. The Fall of Alderyn Genre: Mali’ History Author: Caestella Elibar’acal [!] This book may be found in the Mali’ history section of the Eternal Library. Author’s note: This is divided into two sections, an actual report and a personal account. The Report The fall of Alderyn happened on the 15th of The Deep Cold, 1713 when the city of Alderyn had surrendered to the Empire and the nation of Haelun’or. The City commonly occupied by the Mali’ame and was a principality of Aegrothond before it’s surrender. A group of Imperials and Mali’aheral charged into the city lead by Maheral High Prince Dimaethor of Malinor, Prince Delos of Malinor, Prince Elrion of Malinor and Prince Omar Grimmar’lak of Malinor and claimed it for the Desolation Pact and a Mali’ shredded and unfurled the Elven Union’s banner while others finished rummaging through the city. The Imperials and Sullimiran gathered in the throne room to celebrate the victory in the wake of the Alderynians’ cowardice. It is one of the few invasions that Haelun’or has le as Mali’aheral are more isolationists. However, this is leading into the Golden Age of Haelun’or where the Mali’thill will take charge in more conquests. A Personal Account from Caestella Loreaire As we approached the gates of Alderyn, I was invigorated. After marching from Haelun’or to here I knew it would be a move that would change the very history of the blessed Silver State. The Maheral Dimaethor Visaj was leading the charge alongside Delos, Elrion and Omar Grimmar’lak, the Princes of Malinor. We finally arrived at the gates after a long march and attempted to get in through the gates after a long March and attempted to get in through the gates and they did not budge, so we tried the citizen’s doors. After Lady Vexalia had used her magic through to loosen the citizen’s doors and Prince Elrion kicked down the door with immense strength for his young age. Then, we all swarmed the gates, most of us ready to attack, however, we found the city had been deserted by the Mali’ame and they crawled back to their hole in the main city of Aegrothond. I rushed into the Tavern hoping to do some looting, although I should’ve realized I had forgotten my trusty lockpick. We were all scattered throughout the city, a party of twenty of us I would estimate, explored the Tavern and Clinic before rushing up the mountain towards the throne room with an Imperial, who never got the name. We were the first to enter, then I went to explore the rest of the building for anyone else, but yet again found it deserted. Then, Prince Delos placed the flag of Desolation Pact in the center of the throne room, where a throne should have been, but was taken. We then gathered around the throne room to celebrate the victory, with the cheers of “Maehr’sae Hiylun’ehya” and “Ave.” We declared Alderyn for the Desolation Pact and Lady Vexalia used her telekinesis magic to unfurl the banner in the throne room. After this was done, we all headed to our respectable nations and the Mali’Aheral celebrated the victory in the tavern.
  10. Mali'Thill Creation: A Brief History Genre: Mali’aheral History Author: Caestella Elibar’acal [!] This historical text can be found in the Mali’aheral history section of the Eternal Library. Long ago there were four brothers, each the first of the descendent races. These four brothers were known as Malin, father of the elves, Krug, father of Uruks, Horen, father of humans, and Urguan, father of the dwarves. Malin created a kingdom in which Larihei was a trusted advisor. Though, Larihei asked for no reward, she simply studied in the library preferring scholarly pursuits. Upon the discovery of the Aspects and World Altars, Larihei apprised Malin of the dangers of using these artifacts. Malin did not listen to Larhei’s wisdom and her advice was ignored. Malin chose to listen to the Archdruids instead of Larihei and the World Altar eventually led to the taint of forests and the forests turning feral. While the people of Malinor grew content with the ways of the Aspects, Larihei and a group of her followers began to study the void. Larihei and her companions discovered the first evocations, transfiguration, and translocation. Larihei ensured that these progressions with gaining knowledge of the void were slow and controlled. These discoveries started to change and improve the lifestyle of the Mali’. Malin, however, grew weary and afraid of Larihei’s arcane prowess. Malin betrayed Larihei and banished the practice of the voidal arts, even though this was the only thing Larihei had asked for during her centuries-long tenure as an advisor. Larihei and her followers refused to stop their studies and retreated into caves. In these caves they discovered the golden pools. Larihei and her followers bathed in these golden pools for centuries. However, they began to notice changes due to this; their ears grew longer, their hair lightened and gleamed, their arcane prowess grew stronger, they became more intelligent than their fellow Mali, they became taller, and their eyes became lighter as well, filling with silver deposits. Their skin was clearer and they became revered for beauty. They turned into the Mali’thill, high elves. As the newly changed Mali’thill returned to Malinor, the elves of the old became bitter and jealous of their changes. They lashed out and burned down the homes of the ‘thill. The tensions continued to rise and Malin was missing. Larihei saw this as an opportunity and announced the establishment of elCihi’thilln, or the Silver City. elChihi’thilln was a place for the mali’thill to thrive with their scholarly pursuits with the void. They continued on, despite the resistance from the elves of Malinor. Maehr’sae hiylun’ehya kept the mali’aheral united and has continued to lead our people for centuries.
  11. Path of the Stonewalker Genre: Mali’thill History Author: Caestella Elibar’acal [!] A nonfiction book that can be found in either the history or the philosophy section of the Eternal Library of Laureh’thilln. The Path of the Stonewalker was started by a elfess and her golem. The elfess was betrayed by her loved ones and she sought to find resolution in the solitude of her home, however, she felt that her home was no longer with those she once loved. She then brought her children to the cave of Golems within the home of the Mali’aheral. There, she focused her life on becoming as emotional as the creatures of stone that she so dearly loved were, and golems do not have emotions. The heartbreak of the loss of her lliran and her loved ones betraying her was too much for her to bare so she donned a mask of a golem. The mask of the Stonewalker hides the shame of her pain, emotions, and her wrong doings, much like that of the Weeping Blades. The Stonewalkers use this title so they do not have to bare their shame to they eyes of the public, for how can one be the most pure if they are on The Path to Purity. One is marked as a Stonewalker by a golem painting glowing runes that symbolize the path and maehr’sae hiylun’ehya on their body. Purity redemption is the goal of the Stonewalkers. They strive to achieve purity of the mind by following the mindsets of golems. This is due to the fact that constructs are not emotional creatures. They act rationally and act only upon orders from their Imperas; or in the case of the Stonewalkers, the Diarchy. The Stonewalkers follow this path to learn resilience and discipline, it is an unconventional way for a mali’aheral to continue their Path to Purity on a deeper level. Stonewalkers focus on redeeming their mental homeostasis and clearing their impurity of the mind. The followers of this philosophy are of the utmost dedicated to restoring their purity and ensuring they remain dedicated to the Diarchy for the rest of their lives.
  12. Fear of the Mali'thilln Genre: Psychological Thriller [Fiction Stories] Author: Caestella Elibar’acal [!] A fiction book would be found in the section of Fiction Stories in the Eternal Library of Laureh’thilln. A lone Mali’thill would be standing in the wilderness outside of the blessed Laureh’thilln, lost as the wind was her flaxen-hair whipping around her. She pulled her fur coat tighter around her blanched skin. She could no longer stomach the sight of what lingered around the walls of Silver, impurity, taint, the ‘ata had seemed to have taken over elcihi’thilln. The home of the pure had lost to them, there was nothing but darkness that lurked within the once bastion of purity. Images of her cousins of silver being slaughtered and acid forced down their throats to choke on repeated over and over in the elfess’ mind. The walls of silver were once a place of safety and purity for her race. However, the ‘ata slowly made their ranks up the military. They became trusted, loved by many, until their true motives were revealed and it was too late, they had taken over. The elfess screamed out as she could not get the repeating images of the slaughter out of her head. She could not get their screams and cries for help to stop ringing in her mind. Did this make her impure, too? Did they turn her into one of them? Did her grief stricken state change the foundation of her beliefs of logic above all else, because her thoughts at the moment were certainly not logical. Was she responsible for not warning people of the ‘ata that started roaming the walls? She would not know, for it was too late for her. The plague of the ‘ata had entered her mind and used grief to eat away at the very things that made her pure. The screaming suddenly stopped and the elfesses face would become blank and entirely emotionless. She would drop her coat and turn back around to the now ruined statue of Larihei with a demonic smirk crossing her face. The elfess would take a few steps forward and continued on her way, almost construct like towards the burning city. She whispered faintly to herself, though it was not her speaking it was the ‘ata parasite, “The Silver City has fallen, the ‘ata have risen. The time is now. The pure will perish and suffer like they have done to us.”
  13. Caestella Elibar’acal sighed deeply as she began to iron and press five Uherian uniforms of various sizes. As she sprayed water on one of the skirts and pressed down the iron, steam would rise up. She huffed as she continued to press the clothes, “Why did I decide to have so many oem’iian...”
  14. Caestella Elibar’acal would pluck the missive from the mailbox outside of the golem cave. She would walk into her office and sit down looking over the missive with a somewhat neutral smile on her face. “Well I suppose I could do with a new portrait....” She said as she leaned back in her chair. She would drum her fingers on the table deep in thought for a few moments. Caestella then picked up her amethyst quill and started furiously writing about purity.
  15. Caestella Elibar’acal would check off a box with a warm smile on her face as she looked out at the view from friendship park. Her skygod would frown deeply at no longer being able to make puns about Berr’lin. However, even still Caestella checked off the box for Lareh’thilln and place the card in the ballot box.
  16. Caestella Elibar’acal begun collecting her papers and binding them together in two separate notebooks. She placed down the binding materials and stacked the books on top of one another. Her eyes would glow white as she curled her fingers around the Greatstaff of the Stonewalker. The books would begin to levitate and float behind her as she exited the golem cave and started of towards the Eternal Library. She placed the two tomes in the donation box with a somewhat pleased smile upon her face. “I am so happy that the blessed knowledge of the Mali’thill is expanding once more and our library is returning to the glory it deserves.
  17. Marzoss Devione simply sighed as she moved around various liquor bottles behind the bar and heard screams resonating from below the manor. A few moments later ,she saw a stony Vas carry out the body of a blonde human who was a stranger in a bloodied mess as she crouched behind the bar organizing the liquor still. She blinked and muttered after he left, “Why am I not surprised?”
  18. Marzoss Devione arches a brow at Cyrene after reading the letter. “Damn girlie, I had no idea you were a Naztherak and Lady Overseer. I should really get out of the house more.... good on you for your honesty though! I am proud of you for being responsible.” The elfess smiled warmly at her while pouring out a few cups of tea for herself and those lounging in the tavern. Caestella Elibar’acal spoke to one of her Medi’iran after reading the letter and brought her fingers to her temples. “Let us hope more of the dark mages come crawling out of the shadows and exposing themselves once and for all like the sewer rats that they are.”
