  4. Hello fellow roleplayers, I’ve recently joined the server and roamed around with the orcs. The style of the orcs gave me some inspiration to make a grand colosseum! I'd like to share my build with you and would like to know what you guys think. I’m afraid the screenshots are too large to post here, so here's a link to the PlanetMinecraft post I've just made! https://www.planetminecraft.com/project/orcish-colosseum-4611281/ Thanks!

Tok was born and raised in a distant land called Dhacca. Dhacca is a smaller island with one city, mostly relying on their fishing trade. Furthermore the citizens of Dhacca distinguished themselves as craftsmen as opposed to the other orcs being great warriors. Tok's father, Zug Dreadmuk, was a fisherman and a big orc. He married Tok's mother, Bula, a smaller goblin. Zug married after mating with her during one of the city's harvesting festivities. These festivities occured once a year, when all able men in the village set sail to catch fish. Upon their return an event was held to honor their god; Shalpauk (https://www.blacksharkenterprises.com/single-post/2016/08/18/10-Obscure-Orc-Religions). After this festivity Zug went on his way until he got word that Bula was with child. Abiding the Dhacca law and orcish customs Zug announced Bula to be his mate. However, Zug was not satisfied by the life that the laws had thrown upon him. Zug was too narcistic to bind himself to one woman alone, he should have the freedom to mate anyone he liked, or so; he thought. Zug was not around much during the early days of Tok's existence. Zug was too occupied with his profession and his social group to give Tok his very needed attention. As a result, Bula was mostly taking care of Tok. Bula was a farmers daughter, working at her family's farm just a mile walk from the city gates. Bula was forced to take her newborn to the farm, where her parents mostly looked after Tok during the day. As Tok grew up into his early ages he started helping Bula at the farm, doing simple tasks his mother would assign him to. Tok was not satisfied with his situation. He’d always look up at his father, wondering what life on the sea would be like. Starting from this period in his life he would ask his father whenever he got the chance to come on the ship with him. Zug, not being bothered by his only son, simple gestured Tok to go away. This did not refrain Tok from persisting to request his trip on the boat. One night, while Tok was asleep, Zug returned home from a night drinking with his fellow fishermen. Buldging his way in and rambling around triggered Bula to confront Zug about his behavior and the importance of his son; she could not take it any longer. Zug replied furious, telling Bula to realise that the only reason he beds her once in a while was that little whimp sleeping in the other room (Tok). Bula responded furiously and threw a punch at Zug's stomach. Zug immediatly smashed Bula's face with his right fist throwing Bula against the wall, Bula being a small goblin, and falling unconcious. Zug did not glimpse at his wife and went out the door. Tok, awoken by the event, stumbled towards his mother. Tok would do anything in his power to get her to respond, but with no result. Tok collapsed next to his mother, crying, slowly falling asleep. Tok woke up, the sun glancing in his eyes. As his vision clears up he notices he is being carried by his mother. Bula notices Tok awakening and tells him about the fact she is leaving his father and Dhacca with Tok, for his own goodwill. Tok struggles, he was not wanting to leave his father, his idol, behind. Bula was walking towards her family's farm, where they had an old ship laying ashore. Her plan was to escape to Arcas, a land of opportunity she had heard about. She had picked up some sailing skills from being with Zug, and was determined to make it to Arcas. Swiftly gathering the necessary supplies from her family's farm she set sail into the horizon. It was a harsh trip with little food and the hot burning sun. Tok, once again, followed tasks Bula would give him to properly stear the ship. At long last, they layed their eyes upon a docking area, with ships roaming around bearing a red and black color. This must be it! This must be Arcas! They docked their boat, to be greeted with numerous guards. They were taken and sent to the leaders palace. Tok was forced to stay out of the leaders room for his mother to speak to him. His mother returned with a relieved look on her face, however, shedding a tear as well. Tok was not very certain of what was happening. The guards gripped him by his shoulders, as his mother was taken away. Screaming, resisting, trying to run to his mother, Tok was forcefully held in place as he saw his mother slowly being dragged out of his eye sight. Tok was taken to the chambers, as he entered many other youngsters stared at him while he was being moved by the guards. He was assigned a bed and given simple clothing. Tok had become a slave. Tok was assigned to work in the sandstone mines to supply the orcish army. Comparing to the other slaves, Tok was very weak. His progress in the mine did not match the other slaves, getting him into punishment several times. One time, the guards were drunk, and decided to punish Tok again for his lack of work. However, this time, they decided to give him the greatest dishonor that is known to the orcs; cutting off his tusks. Tok was held down by one guard by his neck while the other slaves had gathered to watch. The guard pulled out his greataxe with one hand, and sliced off his right tusk with a blow. Tok's tusk fell on the ground, the guard picking it up and holding it in the air as a warning. While the guard was holding Tok's tusk, his grip on Tok's neck loosened. Tok swiftly turned his head around and bit the guards hand with his remaining tusk. The guard let go of Tok, screaming in agony. As soon as the guards grip of Tok let go, Tok ran, and ran, and ran, untill his limbs began to fail and he started to black out from being underfed for weeks and the hot burning sun. Slowly Tok's eyes opened after a few hours, his vision blurry. He slowly notices four sharp objects in front of his face. Soon his vision became clear, they were four scimitars pointing at his face. The scimitars were connected to four men. They were pirates. They were laughing about his size for an orc. After a few shameful remarks at Tok they “told” Tok they needed a deckman. The pay they would offer him is his life. Naturally, they took him back to their camp near their ship. As Tok saw their ship, his eyes opened wide. Tok remembered all the times he had asked his father to come on the fishing boat. He had not expected his first boat trip to be under these circumstances though. Tok was completely overwhelmed by the sight of the ship. A sense of duty overcame him, towards his father; I will own this one day. Tok worked on the ship for the following years. Slowly, steadily, gaining the trust of his companions. Slowly rising up in the ranks, which needed to be filled every so often due to poor workers conditions. Travelling, plundering, Tok started to see value in coin. Value in coin, above all. As he had seen the other pirates die for it, it must be worth dieing for, he thought. Once Tok rose up in the ranks, he was taught the art of swashbucklery, ergo the ability to swing a scimitar. Tok grew to a young adult goblin during his service to the pirate crew. Sailing along with his companions, he had raided for food and coin, he had become greedy, and had not forgotten the promise he made himself when he was taken by the pirates. By pirate law, being a certain rank, you can challenge the captain to gain ownership of the boat. This was the fastest way. Tok woke up one morning, and told himself; this is the day. Tok, at 23 years old, challenged the captain. A heavy duel passed, where Tok barely came on top due to his movement and smaller size. At last, after all this time, he was the owner of his own ship, and own crew. Tok ordered the old captain to be thrown off board while he set sail onto his own accord. He was sure to bring great wealth to the crew. Due to Tok's greed and inexperience in leading a pirate crew, Tok got overconfident. The clouds show a stormy night, but Tok was certain there was treasure to be attained overseas. He was not going to let a simple storm stand in his way. He ordered his crew to set out and got caught up in the storm. With all their strength Tok and the crew tried to sail towards the destination, but with no reward. The ship capseized and Tok was seperated from the crew by the heavy sea waves. Tok was washed ashore by the waves. Tok had nothing left, no ship, no crew, his parents’ location is unkown, he had but himself, and he set out for his adventure in Arcas! ((Thanks for reading, I’m sorry as I might have gotten a bit dragged into the story and made it a bit long. Im a real old player, used to go by the MC name Ministryofgammess and was one of the players who constantly refreshed my multiplayer minecraft to step into Aegis upon release(first player ever to step into Laurelin in Aegis :D). After playing like a year or so I was perm banned due to the fact I was a 14 year old prick back then. With the quarantine comes boredom, so I decided to take a look at MC again, and ofc my favorite server LotC. Hopefully you will accept my application!))
