  1. Audo read over the missive as he sat in the gardens with his training sword beside him, smiling to himself. Of course, he'd heard of the successful birth and clean bill of health prior in the Duma, but that didn't make him any less glad that something good had gone Georg's way.
  2. These crowns are of the enemy and I decline to comment.
  3. Audo returned home in the morning from a long night in the library to find the living room a state. Not only were the well trodden-in hoof prints of cows littering the floor from his previous day's leather and dairy mishap, but also the Tuvmas tree was in pieces and all the gifts left below it were gone. He ran over, picking up a lump of coal before throwing it back into the pile with a devastated frown. His own desire to have a merry Tuvmas felt shattered, and last thing his younger siblings needed was their Tuvmas being ruined after everything in the past few years! His attention snapped to as he ran to his room to check on one last present hidden away for his dearest friend. He tossed toys from his bed draws out, digging to the bottom, before sitting back on his legs. He pulled out a lump of coal that he merely dropped. Audo sat hopelessly for a moment before his fists curled. He would not let this be the end of the Weiss' Merry Tuvmas! He gave Pup a pat as he stepped out of his room, out of the house and made a sprint for the bank. Maybe those Tournament winnings would come in handy afterall.
  4. Audo read the paper with his father Felix, leant close to get the best view he could as the fireplace of the tavern crackled behind them. He giggled as his snow-dampened hair was further ruffled, playfully whacking his hand away. He seemed to have regained his energy after all his training, likely owing to the filling meal. "Eam? Eam!" He cheered with a bright smile, ecstatic to be mentioned in the news! "Ea want us to sponsor it too, papej, they put me in the news. Ea want to read more!"
  5. Audo, huddled over a desk within the great library, yawned as he flipped the last page to find he had finally read it all. Beside him lay an open dictionary to aid in his comprehension of such a text which was far beyond his young level of understanding. Still, there seemed to be mention of his task here. "The Imperial Diet..." He mused to himself tiredly. He closed the book and pushed it aside, then rested back in his chair as he surveyed the pile of books he'd made himself - all yet to be touched and would no doubt eat up numerous days. OOC: Based.

You’ve just arrived in a swampy, dim town. As you look around, your gaze is met with shacks and cabins. It smells of rotted wood and wet moss. You duck and step into a tattered tent, illuminated by a series of candles suspended in the air. At the back of the tent, an old hag raises her head, “What brings you to this dingy town? she begins, then pauses to study your face—”Ah, it’s you. I’ve been expecting you. Sit,” she gestures at a cushion, “Tell me your story.” ((How do you respond?)) I shift on my feet subtly, glancing to the cushion. Rather than sitting, I choose to stand. "Oh, ah," I click my tongue on the roof of my mouth, "Lookin' for work, see." With steady steps I position myself closer to the tent's exit than the hag, rather ungraciously knocking a candle aside in my haste. "Had a farm out near the boarder with Petra but with diminishing crop returns and the rising boarder tensions and what-not..." I tilt my head slightly and moisten my drying lips. "Well, I'm sure you can put two and two together. I ain't thinkin' such a situation looks good is all."
