  2. Audo Weiss smirked as he looked to the missive, fully intending to arrive too. He, however, happened to already be taken and was proud to be so. Reaching to his right, he lifted a pastry to his mouth, taking a bite of it. It was drizzled with delicious Zvaervauld Lillic Field Honey ™.

  4. Audo Weiss arched a brow at his mention and evidence multinational support. "Who knew uruks could write so well?" He muttered curiously, finding himself impressed, as he took a bite from a puff pastry delicately drizzled with Zvaervauld Lillic Field Honey ™. "Ah... that does remind ea... where's that uruk's letter..?" He pushed himself up as he laid the newspaper aside.
  5. Audo Weiss fiddled with the missive. He had a chance now. He was old enough now. Once more, he would try.
  6. Audo Weiss for Military Tribune Election of 462 ES I, Audo Weiss, do declare my intent to run for military tribune and represent the needs, wants and voices of my fellow comrades. Having been enlisted in the Brotherhood for a decade, it is my home and unquestionably my second family. For nine of those years, I have been active in combat, serving not for glory or honour but because I believe in loyalty to my kingdom, my people and my family above all else. I believe that there is no age at which loyalty begins: it just is. This opportunity is the next step I wish to take to aid my brothers and sisters in arms. Qualifications My military service, even given my age of 18, gives me some insight into the current woes of our military. I have lived and breathed war and combat for as long as I can remember. I have previously come to accept these woes as mere necessities of the brotherhood. We are not always held in high regard. However, as time has gone on I have come to realise that this is not the case; any areas of lacking can be fixed with enough hard work and dedication. Moreover, this would not be my first role in the Duma as I undertook becoming the representative of House Weiss in place of my father at the age of 11. This would not be my first expression of interest in joining the governing of our kingdom in a role beyond my family as I sought permission to run for tribune early, as well as throwing myself forward for the likes of Lord Handler. While neither were a success given my age of 15 at the time, the efforts are a testament to my dedication and standing desire to enter into the Duma and would be more than proud to do so for my comrades. Agenda Foremostly, I seek to promote integration of the brotherhood and the knightly order. In recent times, the brotherhood and the order have pulled away from each other to the point where some knights are no longer enlisted and as such are merely a silent and guarding presence. We are all brothers in arms, and we all have voices to be heard. I hope to see greater acknowledgements of those performing thankless and extra duties within the brotherhood reflected in their pay, including the roles of quartermaster, field medic, and blacksmith. I wish to promote the learning and undertaking of medical studies within members of the brotherhood, not only to ensure that those enlisted have basic medical knowledge but also to boost the lacking pool of doctors in Karosgrad. Training in the Brotherhood is lacking in some areas. I hope to promote and encourage more formalised training of combat and military tactics to ensure prompt responses when soldiers are in the field. I send my deepest thanks to my brothers and sisters in arms, young or old. Your service is outstanding and a mighty shield for our great kingdom. Regardless of whether I undertake the role as representative for us or not, I will always be an ear ready to hear your voice and act however I may in my capacity. Iv Joveo Mann, His Lordship, Armsman Audo Weiss
  7. Zvaervauld Honeydrops Issued naf zwy 14th hag i Joma ag Umund i 462 ES. Va Birodeo Herzenav ag Edlervik, With the production of Zvaervauld lilac honey now consistently underway, House Weiss has sought to expand beyond the raw product into more refined goods. Given the sweet and delectable taste of honey we saw no venture more fit for the first expansion than an irresistible candy: honeydrops. Honeydrops are a hard candy, crafted with care by our dedicated artisans. By mixing sugar, water and lemon juice then heating the mixture we get a solid base for the creation of our hard candies. Our signature lilac honey is then added to the mix, stirred and all is caramelised until the hard-crack stage. At this point, we pour the mixture into moulds and allow the candies to set. Then off they go - straight to your tummy! For an endearing flare, we take the extra time to craft moulds of all bee-related varieties. When you buy a pack of mouth-watering honeydrops you’ll find yourself with bees, hives, honeycombs, and flowers (especially lilac, of course!). Get your first un-bee-lievable pack today! Sold on Market Stall III. Tested and accredited by the youngest of Weiss! Iv Joveo Mann, His Lordship, Armsman Audo Weiss Her Excellency, Dame Via Weiss, Knight Paramount of Hoonseti-Ruska Lady Sierra Weiss
  8. Audo Weiss looked to the Princess as he set his coffee sweetened with Zvaervauld Lilac Honey aside. "Awful, awful indeed. None of vy should have been sent. The knight should have come, of course. He should be glad ea did niet lose ea head to that orc." He mumbled, but then he smiled at her, "Busy minds need fuel. Vy get used to it... perhaps the Justicaar's office should invest in coffee for all. We'd provide some honey for them, if they like it sweetened. Maybe it'd keep them awake enough to do their jobs."
  9. Audo Weiss smirked bitterly at this transcript as he scrutinised the written embodiment of misconduct and - especially - the final note at the bottom, while enjoying his well-earned coffee with a teaspoon of Zvaervauld Lilac Honey™. "Da, the transcriber was sent out. 'Go outside and check what's going on...'. by Godan. That lying Hgh justicaar does niet deserve her position. Ea knew she was a lying wretch..." He growled to himself, remember her words to the Duma in defense of their collective actions - that the guards were sent out while the civilians were escorted to safety. "That snivelling old lady is too complacent. Begging for sympathy in the Duma. Trying to single-handedly undermine to voices of those who clearly have more wits about them. Asking leading questions in the trial. Send a minor ag a civilian out to face Ferrymen ag lie about it when asked. Who put this loonatic in charge of our justice?" He let out a shrewed laugh. "Spasiva GOD that someone was recording this disgrace."
  10. The Zvaervauld Great Horse Issued naf zwy 4th hag i Gronna ag Droba i 463ES By the Barony of Zvaervauld Va Birodeo Herzenav ag Edlervik, In line with the proud legacy of Felix Weiss as part of the glorious hussars, the Barony of Zvaervauld has seen fit to create their own breed of horse befitting the use of hussars and knights: a succession of steeds with the sole purpose of becoming uncontested destriers. The Zvaervauld Great Horse is set to become the epitome of a heavy duty war-horse, bred for their high spirit and sensitivity to their surroundings. Paramount to all their attributes is their keen connection with humans, giving them a fierce intelligence and willingness to train. With their height and musculature, this draft-type can carry the load of their armour, gear, their rider, and their equipment with ease. However, would-be riders should be warned: a high-spirited steed is not one for beginners in the field and requires a skilled handler to not only direct his steed’s attention but also to keep its acute mind occupied. Each Zvaervauld Great Horse is treated and trained with the utmost care. From a young age, they must learn to be independent and be unadulterated in their growth. They must learn to take immediate command, and become used to acting as one with their rider. Given their destiny as horses of war, they are given particular attention in the matter of focus: they are taught to normalise loud noises, sudden changes and to patiently endure the mishandling of weaponry through hours of exercises prior to sale. Criteria must be met for any single horse to be considered a Zvaervauld Great Horse: They must be descended from the line of Boldizar, They must have been vetted and record for authenticity by a Weiss handler, They must be the most physically fit and capable they can be, The coat must be pure black in colour, No markings may mar or obscure their colouration, Stallions must measure 15 hands or higher while mares 14 or higher, The trunk must be proportional as to have the height match the width, Their growth in all stages must be unadulterated. Not all horses born unto the field of Zvaervauld are fated to fall under the designation of ‘Great’. There are those who, while admirable for other qualities, are only befitting of the title ‘Lesser’. Any who fail to match the criteria but who are still of the line of Boldizar will be considered ‘Zvaervauld Lesser Horses’. These lesser steeds may find themselves more akin to coursers or, for a handful, ought to be treated solely as companions. To ensure accurate tracking and record-keeping, a Stud Book was opened on the 10th i Joma ag Umund i 461 ES to record every new individual. All horses are given a name and unique 6-digit ID. However, given the desire to keep the tracking of Zvaervauld Great Horses immaculate, all such steeds also come with a Certificate of Ownership. As such, while the purchase of Zvaervauld Lesser Horses may be permissible without the presence of handler, all Zvaervauld Great Horses may only be obtained via appointment. For this appointment, speak to or bird his Lordship, Audo Weiss. While the ownership of Zvaevauld Lesser Horses need not be tracked as rigorously, particularly invested steed holders may also seek a certificate if they desire through appointment though the horse they own must be brought to be presented upon request. Zvaervauld Lesser Horses are sold on Market Stall III Zvaervauld Greater Horses are sold only by appointment. Bird or speak to Audo Weiss. Iv Joveo Mann, His Lordship, Audo Weiss Bossir Felix Weiss, Lord of Zvaervauld and Lord Marshal of His Majesty’s Brotherhood.
  11. Audo Weiss arched a brow at the missive. "Already..?" He muttered as he enjoyed toast with Zvaervauld Lilac Honey™ spread delciously over it. "Well, ea guess if the man does niet know to close the gates on hearing of bandits this was bound to happen..."
  12. Zvaervauld Lilac Honey Issued naf zwy 13th hag i Msitza ag Dargund i 461 ES. Va Birodeo Herzenav ag Edlervik, House Weiss introduces its first batch of lilac honey this Saint’s day. With a selection of rolling fields belonging to our great king being left under our protection comes an opportunity to expand the commerce of the realm internally and externally. We have chosen the first export we will invest time into: honey. For some it is a delectable snack, for others a medicinal wonder. Tender practices and attentive care has allowed the lands surrounding Staalgrav to flourish in the vibrant pinks and purples of blooming lilac. Within such oceans of petals we have established strong colonies of persistent honey bees, all who work diligently to create the lilac honey of the future. For these bees we have provided only the most quality of man-made hives with roomy confines and easily removable racks that have been hand-carved with the utmost vigilance to mimic the internal starting structure of a colony: a love letter to the wonder of Godan’s Creation. Though we have tried our best, we have found that some bees inevitably prefer nature. To encourage the utmost comfort for our hard workers (and to gain the tastiest of honey) we also allow the construction of natural hives. With great effort, we ensure that we disturb these small worlds as little as possible. Whichever the source, we can assure the quality of our Zvaervauld lilac honey. Sold on Market Stall III or speak to Audo Weiss. Iv Joveo Mann, His Lordship, Audo Weiss
  13. Audo Weiss arched a brow at the missive, but his expression yielded no surprise. "This mess is on those that voted yea for this ag the sole benefactor he had." He grumbled to himself. "All young once? What trash. Talks would never fix what was wrong with this jovenaar. THose sat must have lost their ears." He took a breath, scrunching the missive into a ball in his hands as Karl's first few lessons to the boy rang true: "Sometimes I think they're here just to look like they're doing something." Tossing the missive to his pile of unwanted work, it lazily bounced from the top of his papers and down to the floor. "It's despicable and shameful that Her Execellency even stood up for this man with such pathetic arguments - ag succeeded." A scowl cast over his expression as he mused his was through his recollection of such incompetence. "Sympathy in the Duma..." The words rolled off his tongue like venom. "She shouldn't have her station either."
  14. Audo Weiss rested the missive to his side, upon his bench in his garden as his cast his gaze skyward. This nonsense, this failure to do justice by him and people would threaten everything he had worked so hard for. Would people really look upon him now as someone who would do such a thing? "Wouldn't anyone have ******* defended themselves..?" His head dipped, to hold it in his hands. "Ag to throw ea to the wolves with this jovenaar. The auwn that let his niece into the private court? The auwn that is summoned to return to the Duma to answer for the trial..? ...GOD are vy testing ea..?" He muttered as he hunched over, resting his face in his hands.
  15. Audo looked over the barely readable missive from his new post - on the bed of a clinic. He was still sorely disappointed by the poor discipline in this generation of children. Though this missive did bring up an interesting question: the other children were allowed to remain in court? What the hell was the judge thinking? Perhaps this is similar to him letting his niece into a private court hearing...

  17. Audo Weiss had his arms folded as he listened - a simmering ember to his gaze. In one hand he loosely held the Ruthern's missive, a text he'd found a suprisingly satifying read. However, his lips cracked a cold smile at his father's words. Such an insult was spat upon their name by their own would-be friends; this was a fitting response. "Da, papej. Ea'll remember that."
  18. Audo Weiss shifted his gaze down over the missive as he sifted through the information. He lingered on those who had signed before taking even more careful note of who had issued the piece. With an indignant chuff, he tore the paper clean down the middle and tossed the shreds to the trash.
  19. Audo Weiss grimaced at the missive. This man, to know him. To know what he might've been doing just a few doors down or to know the shameful actions he'd taken against his to-be-wed? Why would a man engage in anything with another man - he had not thought such a thing would ever occur. This man needed GOD more than ever, and perhaps a noose.
  20. Audo inhaled, then exhaled as he slumped on the couch. "If we had an even footing, we'd have won.." He muttered, knowing he practically could've definitely double or possibly tripled his input if they'd had any access to raising their own cows. He rested the missive aside. At least, in some way, the boy had learned a whole lot of valuable hunting skills and he valued the friend, and the brother, who had helped him along the way. And, above all, he'd ensured the Weiss did their bit. Though perhaps it would do his ego good to lose something.

  22. On seeing the missive, Audo Weiss scrunched it up and threw it down. He took a deep breath. The old era was gone, the new would come. That's just what he had to tell himself. Perhaps there was good in the both the King and Queen went together. Perhaps, if GOD was willing, this would lay the road for something better to be built without fear of being in the shadow of what was before. If GOD was willing, He would guide Georg well through the transition. But Audo took a breath. Life seemed to just be like this; things changed, whether you wanted them to or not.
  23. As his father took hold of the missive from the messenger boy, Audo looked over. A stillness had come about the Brotherhood's hall; a thick tension. "Nie - nie, he was getting better." Felix muttered. The tone, the words, the shake of his hands was enough for Audo to cue in on what grevious news the missive contained. Godan, why? As Sierra approached her father, Audo collapsed onto the seat he had just stood from, folding his hands behind his head and craning his face towards the table, a beautiful nothing to gaze upon. Did vy niet hear us? Vaguely aware that Felix had begun to cry, Audo did nothing for him. Everyone here, we prayed! Another two entered the room - conversation - noise. Shut up. Shut up. Shut up. He moved to drag his hands down his face, rake his fingers against his cheeks at the insufferable interference. In a split moment decision, Audo straightened himself up and marched himself out of the room. Though his head did not actively think of where he was going, his feet just took the initiative. No mind was paid to those in the square or his family. Nobody bothered the boy. Perhaps that was best. His mind caught up when he found himself outside of the back gate of Karosgrad, when he climbed the steep bank and when he sat himself atop the marred ground that nature had reclaimed since the siege with now-covered dips, divets and scars that would forever mark the land. He couldn't say why he has gone there and yet, there was comfort. After some time, Audo raised his face to the sky. The rain smuged his lenses, washed his vision in a blur of grey skies. Times were changing, and they would always change. People told him everyone had their time but that did not mean he wanted to face it. "Ea hope vy at least heard the rest ea had to say..." He whispered.
  24. I wish to preface before any answer that I’m a new player to the community. I have no perspective on previous maps or systems and, if any, the only major gripe I have is the completely dysfunctional state of the economy on the server which is more or less driven by a complete lack of resource rarity and thus is leading to a lack of exchange between players over actual transactions outside of some more niche items or those with exist solely as gifts or roleplay items. This kind of makes breaking into the economy very difficult and, to a large extent, just not worth it. I would like to see the future map address how poor it is by giving a reason for money to actually circulate and be exchanged between players. As such, I'll address everything with this mindset as the map can be used for this purpose through affecting how the nodes work and how tiles are given value. Q: Do you think there should be just one set of each building block or node? Or multiple? How would you scatter them throughout the world? I think that, in combination with the desire to distribute resources around the map and give value to having particular tiles, that the scattering of nodes should be done with this in mind. As such, more common resources should have more nodes in more tiles with less common resources having less. Rare or unique resources may have one node, to the point where the rarest of things may only have one node in the world if there is a need for a resource that rare. Q: Would you want to see different numbers on these building blocks? In yield or in harvesting time? Yes. Some nodes could in themselves yield more. This means that if someone is on a tile with iron, say, then their iron may yield more than another tile’s iron. This would also help change and distribute the value of tiles. Q: Would you prefer a system where you physically break the block rather than right clicking it? This makes little difference to me if the whole thing is client-side and if it isn’t client-side there is the risk run of people hoarding and scalping. So I’m abstaining on this since the intentions aren’t clear to me. Q: Do you think there should be a distinction between Niche and Common blocks? Yes. Use distribution or yield to do this, or even the size of nodes or cooldown time. Some resources should be more coveted. Q: Would you like to see a system, perhaps expensive tools paid for with mina, that increase your yield when gathering? Yes. I would also like to see these tools be of specialist professions, probably mostly blacksmithing. I would just like to see more value in having particular jobs and more reason to buy things from people outside of gifts. --- Q: Would you like to see more Soulstone slots? What are possible benefits / consequences? Considering that the intention relayed is to make the make more reliant on SS, there should absolutely be more slots. It is not very good to change a system to rely on something more without adapting the thing being relied on to fit the purpose. I think for benefits, having more ss slots would fit the lowered reliance on a hub like CT. That said, there is mention of “a modified fast travel system that’s currently in thought” but without details on this it’s kind of impossible to conceive of specific pros and cons, aside from that more slots may make the system worth less to players. Q: Would you like to see the return of the Greater Soulstone for purchase from Cloud Temple? What difference should it have? Consider that it’s just recently come back as a reward for liking the server on MC this would cause a conflict between those two methods to get it, unless the purchase can be an extra buff. Perhaps the purchase of an extra ss slot, but only if the amount of slots is not natively increased for the new map. Otherwise, I don’t know. Q: Would you like to see a road placed before nations, or a road placed between nations shortly before launch? Why? Place the nations, then the roads. It’s weird the other way round and isn’t very natural. Nations may decide not to have direct roads to each other for some time due to their relations, and that should be an option for NLs in an evolving world. Q: Should there be a speed boost on the main roads? Yes. It gives reason to use main roads and actual travel may become more important with more focus on pillars. Q: Do you foresee any issues with the removal of hubs and reliance on beacons/pillars? People already rely on the rather heavily and that will continue. However, it is a massive issue to rely on pillars if ss slots don’t accommodate the new reliance. People having less access to move around the world freely, under such circumstances, might result in some frustration. Moreover, more heavy use of pillars might encourage people to ss to desired locations more when they know something is going on. ATM, sometimes people do choose to go the longer travel route. I’d hope the latter is the choice in the future, but nothing is a guarantee with a change. --- Q: Should tiles be uniform in shape or arbitrarily drawn by hand (roughly following geographical features etc.) such as how they are on 8.0 (current)? Always follow geographical features. I don’t think they necessarily have to be the same size either, as the size of a tile may also inherently add or detract from value. Small tiles with a very valuable resource may be worth more than large tiles with common resources. etc Q: If they were uniform, which of the following would be preferred? They should not be uniform. Q: If they are not uniform or arbitrary, how else would you like to see them? Discussed above, but largely decided by geographical features with the possibility for some tiles to be smaller or larger with the specific intent of influencing their value. Q: What kind of tile upgrades would you like to see possible? For tiles to have more thought and consideration placed into their inherent worth rather than improving their worth. Improvements should be made by whoever owns the lands within reason of what that land is capable of. I would like to see inherent worth created though size, the use of nodes and, of course, their geographical location and how that might benefit or detract from the defence of a nation.
