  2. I'm still looking for an arch nemesis, applications open.  Here are the requirements:
    -Be alive (optional)
    -Be evil (probably important)

One encounter with my elf and you likely to think he is your nemesis, he can cut open and study the innards of your entire family and it will be the most important day of your entire existance before you too are to be studied for the purpose of life, for my elf, it was tuesday.

You’ve just arrived in a swampy, dim town. As you look around, your gaze is met with shacks and cabins. It smells of rotted wood and wet moss. You duck and step into a tattered tent, illuminated by a series of candles suspended in the air. At the back of the tent, an old hag raises her head, “What brings you to this dingy town? she begins, then pauses to study your face—”Ah, it’s you. I’ve been expecting you. Sit,” she gestures at a cushion, “Tell me your story.” ((How do you respond?)) Victor Van Harker takes a seat on the cushion, his gaze unwavering as he begins to speak to the old hag. "I come from a long line of those who hunt the darkness," he says, the weight of his family's legacy evident in his voice. "I was born in the city of Haense, a place where the faith of the Canon runs deep." As he speaks, Victor's thoughts turn to his upbringing. "Growing up in Haense was an experience that shaped me profoundly. The city's cobbled streets and towering spires were my playground, but they were also a constant reminder of the duty that awaited me. My parents, devout followers of the Canon, shared tales of ancient battles against creatures of the night, stories of valor, and a duty to protect our faith." He continues, "My father, a stoic and resolute man, instilled in me the values of honor and sacrifice. He was a formidable hunter in his own right, and his legacy weighed on my shoulders from a young age. My mother, a gentle yet unwavering presence, provided guidance and solace during my early years, nurturing my connection to the Church and its teachings." As he recounts his past, Victor's eyes reflect the memories of his youth. "But with their passing, their legacy fell upon my shoulders, and I became the one to carry it forward. The responsibilities of a hunter are a heavy burden, but one that I bear willingly. Now, I find myself in the town of Aaun, seeking supplies and allies in our ongoing battle against the darkness that threatens our people."
