  1. [!] Massives sent around the lands of Aevos! A RANSOM OF THE UNHOLY ELVENS [!] Depiction of Ivorian Men capturing a hostage! ---------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- To the holy men and women of Aevos We, the men of the Princeps of Ivori have captured an elven man of Neveahlen and golem follower. These individuals have done unspeakable things and shame the beliefs of God. With that being said, we request 1000 mina in return of these unholy men, and if we do not receive any form of contact, we shall rid these holy grounds of these unholy men. The mina shall be handed off to the temple of St. Lucien
  2. Aries Caelheris sat within his families home, that stood within the lands of Haelun’or. Upon receiving the massive, his eyes shifted down the paper before a faint sigh slipped from his pale lips. Afterwards, the male placed the massive down on a stack of papers that laid on the corner of his desk, that rested within his empty study with nothing more then papers held together by leather to keep his mind accompanied. Soon enough the elf began to speak to himself in a faint whisper; “I truly do hope that whoever takes up the mantle, returns these lands back to their former glory. Not just elven lands covered by white walls and houses, that hold the wandering souls of fallen Mali'aheral, but instead a land that every Mali'aheral can call home. I hope that these lands can be lead by a competent individual who shall guide the people into a time of peace and prosperity.” Upon the conclusion of his mumbling, he stood from his seat and returned back to meet with his family.
  3. The Reply to Balian 8th of Sun’s Smile, 132 B.A. ___________________________________________________ To His Excellency, the Court of the Kingdom of Balian. I, Mikhail Clement Sarkozic, write to you in response to the summons I have received from your esteemed court. I wish to begin by expressing my profound respect for your authority and the noble traditions upheld within your realm. It is with a heavy heart that I must decline your request for my presence. As a man of another realm , my primary obligations lie within lands that aren’t the Kingdom of Balian, where I am responsible for upkeep my loyalty and responsibilities to those lands . It is with great regret that I inform you that I do not currently reside in your nation and, therefore, cannot attend the court as summoned that was sent to me. But also, the said laws listed within the massive, hold no great power over myself and my house, since as stated before I am not a citizen within the white walls of Portoregne nor is my loyalty with said Kingdom of Balian. If that means I am seen as guilty within the eyes of the Balian citizens, then that is how it must be but make no mistake that I am a man trying to avoid such because never once did I bend the knee to Balian, so I have never made such claims to remain loyal or anything of the such to said kingdom. I mean no ill intent by my words and to make that just, I relinquish the titles of Duke of Sunholdt and Lorraine and Count of Kositz but let this be known, my words are merely making my reply known to the men and women of Balian, and I truly do hope that everyone between those white walls continue to follow the true holy path of GOD and never stray from such path again. HIS HIGHNESS, Mikhail Clement Sarkozic Prince of Providence, Duke of Helena, Count of Pompourelia and Patriarch of House Sarkozic var Helena
  4. The prince sat within his study before a member of his house walked into said room and handed him the massive with great distress over their faces. Mikhail extended his hand outwards, grasping the massive before setting it down on the desk. His eyes slowly followed beside his hand. The male overlooked the script; his gaze shifted over every word before a faint sigh slipped from his lips. His gaze returned to the other Sarkozic as he stood from his seat. "I shall not tarnish my family's name nor my own by being seen as a coward who wants to stand before the men and women of the church. Whenever this trial shall be held, I shall stand tall and speak my peace on the matter. I shall not have my life handed over to the likes of Ibless, as I am a man of God." He stated this before walking out of the office and further out beyond.
  5. THE CLAIM TO OUR TRUE TITLES 6th of Godfrey's Triumph, 1999. ________________________________________________ To the Grand Duchy of Balian; also known as the “Kingdom” of Balian Recently, me and my family looked within my study, reading over some letters that were sent my way. As we were reading over them, small documents stuck out from a stack of papers that lay on the corner of my desk. Upon pulling out the small folder, there was information we almost entirely forgot about. These documents were papers that were handed to me by one of my dear cousins, and on said papers, written in bold black ink, was the mention of the Duchy of Helena. After seeing such, I quickly jumped from my chair and over to the shelf of books, glancing over the covers until we found the one I was looking for, one that would truly answer any further questions we had. Upon opening the book, a name stuck out to me along with a familiar title, the name of “Adrian de Sarkozy”, and beside such a name wrote "Duke of Helena." From that name, we were able to dig deeper into my family's history. We learned that Adrian de Sarkozy was granted the title of Duke of Helena after the War of the Two Emperors to rule over the Imperial City of Helena and the Imperial Crownlands many years before he was elected by his vassals to assume the prerogatives of the Imperial Crown as Lord Protector of the Eight Empire. Furthermore, later on, Lord Adrian was also given the title of Baron of Renzfeld for his acts of bravery and loyalty towards the Empire. From there, we were also able to read about Lord George-Casimir de Sarkozy, who was granted the title of Count of Pompourelia by the Imperial Crown; about Holy Sir Edwin Henry de Sarkozy, who was granted the title of Duke of Atrus by the Imperial Crown; and about Joseph Clementine Sarkozy, Adrian de Sarkozy's first son out of his four kin, who was later crowned as Emperor Joseph II, just as his successors in the Imperial Throne, from whom we descend through the line of the eldest daughter of Emperor Philip III and Empress Anastasia I, Catherine of Furnestock, the Princess Imperial. All of these recent discoveries of ours regarding our family’s heritage and history led us to wonder why it is that we, the House of Sarkozic, have lost these ancient titles that have been held so dearly by our noble family for generations. And, we have reached the conclusion that the aforementioned titles of ours have been unlawfully usurped by the tyrannical House of Novellen that rules over the so-called “Kingdom” of Balian. A nation that, in reality, should be called the “Grand Duchy” of Balian, for we believe that such a nation does not maintain the standards established in the Holy Scroll of Virtue and, thus, does not deserve to bear the royal title of “Kingdom”. And, a nation that has openly sought to divide our Holy Mother Church and our Canonist faith, as was recently proved during the schism perpetrated by King Alexander II of Balian a few years ago with the active involvement of his son John Casimir Baldwin Novellen, his chancellor Kristoff var Ruthern, and his wife Lavanya Aruna Novellen. We believe that a nation ruled by tyrants and schismatics who have openly rejected the Vicar of GOD, our Holy Mother Church and our Canonist faith, such as the Grand Duchy of Balian, does not deserve to hold the ancient titles that rightfully belong to my family, the House of Sarkozic. Therefore, we openly denounce and reject the tyrannical reign of the House of Novellen over the Grand Duchy of Balian for their betrayal to our Holy Mother Church and our canonist faith, and, proclaim that, from now on, I shall assume and hold all the ancient titles that, by right of birth, belong to the House of Sarkozic, which, at least, entail the following: Prince of Providence Duke of Helena Duke of Sunholdt Duke of Lorraine Count of Pompourelia Count of Kositz Unlike the Novellens of Balian, we shall not, however, pretend to claim the title of emperor, for we are aware that the prerogative to recognize such a transcendent title or claim belongs exclusively to His Holiness, in accordance with the Canon Law and the dogmas and principles of the Holy Mother Church. Let it be known as well that we do not wish to hold these titles to display a sense of power or hold said titles over houses that also wish to have titles returned back to them, unlike the Grand Duchy of Balian, which is why we will say this now: To House d'Amaury, we wish not to hold this title for mere power or a longer signature, but instead hold this title until you all wish to reclaim it. Lastly, we would like to deliver a message to all the people of the Grand Duchy of Balian who refused to join King Alexander II of Balian in his schismatic plot to overthrow His Holiness from the Throne of Saint Daniel: We hear you; we are with you, and we commit to release you from the heavy shackles that oppress you. We seek for you to be able to profess your canonist faith freely, without fear or restraints of any kind. In addition, we commit to cooperate with the representatives of the Holy Mother Church in the Grand Duchy of Balian, including Cardinal Ivan Lotharia, in order to ensure the restoration of the Canonist faith and virtue in the aforementioned nation. May GOD bless His Holiness and the Holy Mother Church. ________________________________________________ HIS HIGHNESS, Mikhail Clement Sarkozic Prince of Providence, Duke of Helena, Lorraine and Sunholdt, Count of Pompourelia and Kositz, and Patriarch of House Sarkozic var Helena.
  6. Mikhail Clement Sarkozic, Count of Pompourelia sat within the walls of his home alongside his siblings, reading over the massive that was passed to him. A faint smile grew on the young Counts face, before he spoke aloud to his siblings. "Y am glad to see such a sight, someone whom has been trying his best to bring such lands back to their once standing nation, has taken up the throne. May GOD bless him, along with the men and women whom stand beside him." The Sarkozic claimed, before slipping the massive away into a desk drawer.
  7. The Passing of Artyom Kasimir Sarkozic A dimly lit chamber in a grand estate. The walls are adorned with portraits of past Sarkozic patriarchs. A few family members and loyal retainers gather around a bed where Artyom lies, frail and pale. In the heart of the Sarkozic estate, a storm brewed outside, mirroring the tumult within. Artyom Kasimir Sarkozic, the last of his line, lay on his deathbed, ravaged by an illness that had consumed him over the past months. Artyom: Artyom’s eyes flutter open. He struggles to sit up, supported by a family member. “Gather close, my dear family. The hour is upon us.” Family members lean in, a mix of sorrow and reverence in their eyes. Artyom: [voice trembling] “I have led you all through trials and triumphs. The weight of our name has rested heavily on my shoulders. It is time to pass that burden on.” Artyom: [He glances around the room, making eye contact with each family member.] “To you, my son, Mikhail Otto Sarkozic, the heir to our house… take pride in our legacy. But remember, it is not just a title; it is a responsibility to our people and our values.” Mikhail: [The son, visibly emotional, nods.] “I will honor our house, Father. I promise.” Artyom: [weakly smiling] “You have the heart of a Sarkozic. And to you, my beloved…” Artyom: [He reaches for his partner’s hand.] “You have been my anchor through every storm. Continue to guide them with wisdom and grace.” Alva: [tears in their eyes] “I will carry your spirit with me, always.” Artyom: [Artyom coughs softly, his breaths becoming labored. The room grows tense.] “Do not let my passing shatter the bonds we share. Stand united. The world outside may seek to divide us, but together, you are strong.” Artyom: [He takes a deep breath, closing his eyes for a moment. When he opens them, they shine with a final resolve.] “Remember, love is the true strength of our house. Cherish one another and carry forth the name of Sarkozic with honor.” [As his words hang in the air, Artyom's breathing slows. Family members hold each other close, tears streaming down their faces.] And so, with a final, gentle sigh, Artyom Kasimir Sarkozic slipped away, leaving behind a legacy built on love, honor, and unwavering strength—a legacy to endure for generations to come. [The camera pulls back, showing the somber gathering in the room, illuminated by the flickering light of candles, as the storm outside begins to quiet.] [Fade to black.] The Last Will and Testament of Artyom of House Sarkozic Upon entering Artyom’s office, there laid a small script. The paper would list the information below. Eja, my dearest family. If you are reading this, then I must have passed on. Please don't take this as a time to weep or fall into a state of grief, but instead think of this as a new door opening to our family. But, let us get into what is truly important here: today, on the 8th of the First Seed, and year 200 of the second age, I, Artyom Kasimir Sarkozic, Patriarch of House Sarkozic, do hereby declare this being my last will and testament. To my eldest son, Mikhail Clement Sarkozic, I bestow upon him the title of Patriarch of House Sarkozic. It is now your duty to uphold the legacy and honor of our family and the people who serve the House of Sarkozic. With that, Y write this with enough knowledge that the others of Balian shall know this; we House of Sarkozic are here on claiming our once-owned title of County of Pompourelia once more, and with that, my son vy shall claim such a title. With that being said, to my beloved wife, Lady Alva, I leave the comfort of Sarkozic’s during your tenure. It is my wish that you be cared for and honored, and that your voice remains strong in the matters of our family. To my other kin, may your paths be filled with honor and joy. I entrust you to the care of your brother, Makhail, and charge him to ensure that each of you receives the education and opportunities befitting your station. Should any disputes arise concerning this testament, let it be known that it shall be handled rightfully -Sincerely Artyom Kasimir Sarkozic Sealed this 16h day of First Seed,, in the year of 202 of the Second age.
  8. The current patriarch of House Sarkozic, Helenz, Artyom Kasimir Sarkozic, sat within the fields that surrounded the land of Balian. Upon the land, a man on horseback arrived beside the Sarkozic and handed him the massive before he began reading it. A faint smile crawled upon the aging man's face before speaking aloud. "I am glad that such a wise man currently holds the power within this kingdom. We've needed someone who seeks only the prosperity of Balian to hold the throne for some time now, despite the Cardinal not seeing himself as our King. He still is someone who has earned my respect to guide this kingdom and my nephew in the right path, the path of true light." The man concluded his statement, before returning the paper back the man on the steed and giving him a small dip of his head.
  9. Artyom Kasimir Sarkozic, the current patriarch of House Sarkozic var Helenz, sat at his desk within his office alongside his eldest son, Edmund Joseph Sarkozic. A faint sigh slipped from his lips as he read along the massive. As he continued to read, he'd take faint sips of a glass of fine wine. "Y find it rather unsettling that vy speak of a mure child as a traitor, or someone whom vy view as a harmful man. It's sad that someone who seeked the best for vy're family, vy now slander. " The male slid his chair back, before pulling out a dagger from the table cabinet. After doing that, the male brought the dagger up, before stabbing it into the paper that layed on hsi desk. "It's disgusting that the same nation, the same blood whom granted vy a home within their walls vy now slander. Y would say good Ridens with vy all and take vy're mixed bloods to a nation that vy allow such actions, from men who claim to be canonist." Upon concluding his statement, he took one last final sip of his glass, before taking his leave from the office alongside his soon.
  10. Artyom Kasimir Sarkozic read the missive, a faint sigh slips from his lips and frown formed on his face. "Ah, how men have fallen into siding with Iblees." The male paused, taking a moment to trace his fingers along a Lorrainian cross, before muttering a faint prayer. "Y do hope that the holy men can help redirect the people of Hawkmat onto the right path. Nie men should have to endure stupidity of this level to pray to the darkspawn of Ibless." Upon concluding, the Sarkozic stood from his desk, and left his office, the massive resting in the center of the desk.
  11. Artyom Kasimir Sarkozic sat at his desk, alongside his eldest son as he read out loud, instead of displaying a sense of grief the male gave a simple nod, before looking to his son. "Son, the world has an odd way of telling someone they must rest, and hand their duties off to someone else. But there is nothing wrong with such, because the god above is the one whom dictates that timing." After stating such, he stood from the desk and left the room alongside his kin.

You’ve just arrived in a swampy, dim town. As you look around, your gaze is met with shacks and cabins. It smells of rotted wood and wet moss. You duck and step into a tattered tent, illuminated by a series of candles suspended in the air. At the back of the tent, an old hag raises her head, “What brings you to this dingy town? she begins, then pauses to study your face—”Ah, it’s you. I’ve been expecting you. Sit,” she gestures at a cushion, “Tell me your story.” ((How do you respond?)) Altair Carter takes a seat on the provided couch and gathers his thoughts. He is conscious that he needs to speak carefully and that he has undoubtedly paid attention to what the old hag has said. With a soft, introspective tone, he begins his tale. "Well, this marshy, dark place is nothing like the town I started my journey in. It was really distant. I grew up in a tiny house with my family. Zephyr, my twin, and I were inseparable even though we were as different as day and night. At the time, I was only 19 years old, and our older brother Bruno was 32." He glances at the elderly woman, gauging her reaction. And that's how I got to be in this position now. I have journeyed far and wide, conquering countless challenges and mysteries, in an effort to uncover the truth about my family's past and perhaps even find my missing brother. It's a long story, full of hardship, but also of hope and resolve. What details about the reason you are expecting me to arrive can you now provide me?"
