  1. Response to Peter di Alessandria “Duke of Antium” Issued in S.A. 226 To Whom It May Concern: It is a tragic truth that the late First Consul of Antium, Elynora Maude af Brasca, met her untimely demise in part due to the relentless hunt of Peter di Alessandria. Through acts of banditry and orchestrated attacks, he forced Antium to seek the protection of Celia’nor. Peter’s actions precipitated a chain of events that contributed to her death. Yet, despite these grave deeds, we now hear only petty remarks from a mere boy—a pretender who lacks the wisdom to comprehend the ways of this world. Let it be known that the so-called “Duchy of Antium” is fiction, a title never recognized in any official capacity. Documents published affirm that the entity in question was always the First Republic of Antium, governed nobly by its First Consul, the late Ms. Elynora Maude af Brasca. She was the last true President of Salvo—a state that fell into chaos when it was overrun by the McCanon Gang and later reduced to a mere Barony under your hand, Peter. Once the proud General of Salvo, you now languish as a petty Baron under the Crown of Ravenmire, your legacy tarnished by ambition and betrayal. Thus, the surviving remnants of the Government of Antium, which you have hounded and persecuted for years without relent, hereby issue the following decree: Peter di Alessandria is stripped of the titles he has falsely claimed: Lord of the Salvians, Duke of Antium, and Protector of the Salvian People. These honors were never his by right, and they are hereby revoked in perpetuity. Peter di Alessandria shall be declared Undead, a status befitting his fate. For it is recorded that he met his end at the hands of the Militia of Antium, who executed him at Castle Verdant following his capture. Whomever has been appointed Heir of Oakenwald, as successor to Peter’s ill-gotten holdings, is hereby ordered to pay restitution to the First Republic of Antium. This sum shall total two thousand mina, with interest compounding annually at a rate of ten percent, as recompense for the damages inflicted upon our people and state. Should these demands not be met within a Saint’s Week, Peter di Alessandria—whether in life or death- shall be branded a traitor of the highest order. He will stand accused of High Treason against the last Republic of Salvo, the First Republic of Antium, and the very peers of Salvo who once called him brother-in-arms. May God, in His infinite justice, have mercy upon your soul, for the judgment of man shall offer you none.
  2. Response to the Bounty Issued in S.A. 222 by the Directory of Antium On the Bounty of Elynora af Brasca The Directory of the First Republic of Antium wishes to address the Grand Principality of Ravenmires' bounty upon the First Consul, Eleanor Matilda of Antium. While we respect the right of Ravenmire and of the Salvian Military Regency to send out bounties on their lands and upon the international highways, why does Ravenmire issue one for the First Consul? The People of Antium, collectively known as the Antiates, chose Eleanor Matilda as their leader upon settlement in the Grand Kingdom of Urguan. Why then do you, Prince Constantine Marna, send notice to those across the lands to collect the head of Her Excellency Eleanor Matilda? The First Republic of Antium, as stated in the missive 𝓕𝓲𝓻𝓼𝓽 𝓡𝓮𝓹𝓾𝓫𝓵𝓲𝓬 𝓸𝓯 𝓐𝓷𝓽𝓲𝓾𝓶 does not seek to reclaim the Salvian titles held by Lord Peter di Salvo, nor does it seek to impose any interests in the War of the Lowlands; our people simply seek to exist freely and peacefully. However, by issuing this bounty to protect Dumacracy you actively seek to discredit those who trusted Eleanor Matilda to lead the people of Antium. It is; therefore, we seek for the removal of this bounty and for the verbal attacks upon our people to cease. The First Republic of Antium has no quarrel with the East and never shall. We desire PEACE. Issued and Proclaimed by the Directory of Antium, His Excellency, Ultio Octavianus, Director of Antium. Her Excellency Nymeria Oakheart, Director of Antium.
  3. The First Republic of Antium Issued in S.A. 222 The First Republic of Antium Given the current tense political situation unfolding in the Papal States as evidenced by the War in the Lowlands, the Civilian Government of the Salvian Consulate has seen fit to issue the creation of the First Republic of Antium a place where those who seek refuge from war, and the plights that come from such may call home. The First Republic of Antium shall take its place in the Crothstad Woodlands of the Grand Kingdom of Urguan, who has graciously offered the displaced by the Salvian Civil War land to settle and rebuild their lives. As such, the First Republic of Antium shall be guided by the First Consul and the Directory of Antium, whose job shall be to guide the First Consul on all domestic and foreign matters as permitted by Urguani Law. The First Republic of Antium does not seek to disrupt the Salvian Military Regency that has settled in the Grand Principality of Ravenmire, and shall respect all titles claimed by Lord Peter di Salvo Baron of Oakenwald Lord of the Salvians, and Protector of the Salvians. Furthermore, the First Republic shall renounce all claims of Salvo and shall never seek to reclaim the Republic of Salvo for itself. It is important that the Antiate people maintain their neutrality in the affairs of the East and, as such, shall not meddle in the resettlement of Salvo in the future upon the conclusion of the war. Issued by, Her Excellency, Eleanor Matilda, First Consul of Antium. His Excellency, Ultio Octavianus, Director of Antium. Her Excellency Nymeria Oakheart, Director of Antium.

  5. Salvan State Army Established in 2013 Introduction to the Salvan State Army: To better the Republic of Salvo it has become paramount to our future to establish a military that shall serve and protect the people of Salvo. This document shall serve as the primary foundation of the Salvan State Army encasing vital information of enlistment, command structure, and its duties to the people of Salvo. 1st Brigade of the 1st Regiment of Salvo: Often referred to as “Salvo’s Finest” the 1st Brigade is the first line of defense and method of offense for the nation of Salvo in times of war and/or turmoil. The 1st Brigade is composed of line infantry, typically armed with polearms (usually halberds or pikes) and sidearms and facing enemies in mass numbers and formation. However, members may also be seen operating as sappers, archers, crossbowmen, artillery crews, and mounted scouts depending on the needs of the brigade and the availability of specialized units from other brigades. Current Commanding Officer: Captain Peter di Alessandria Oath of Service: I, _____, do solemnly swear by the might of God and the honorable President, that I will support and defend the nation of Salvo and its President against all threats and enemies, internal, external, or otherwise. Furthermore, I shall maintain bravery and loyalty in all aspects, my first loyalties to God and then to the President and the Officers over me no matter what threats I face. I shall never falter in my service, even upon pain of injury or death. So, help me God. Officer Conduct: Officers in the Salvan State Army must uphold a standard of conduct that goes beyond that of the ordinary soldier. As leaders, they should serve as role models, educators, protectors, and commanders, guiding those under their command to meet the highest standards of conduct and dignity. An officer must ensure that their subordinates are on the path to becoming exemplary soldiers. Maintaining regular correspondence with friends, family, and colleagues is essential for an officer, as staying informed about societal events is vital; ignorance and lack of manners are never excused, regardless of their posting. Furthermore, an officer should maintain a table that reflects their rank and personal financial status, and ensure they have respectable stores of wine, tea, coffee, and cigars to foster a sense of society even in the most remote postings. Chain of Command General Generals are the preeminent officers within the SSA, typically presiding over the entirety of the army with only 1 serving General being customary. However, in times of war, other Generals may be called up to lead major campaigns, auxiliary legions, excess regiments, and crucial strongholds. When no commissioned General exists, the army shall be led by the secretary of war, in combination with the Captains and Colonels. Current Commissioned Generals: N/A Current Acting Generals: Secretary of War, Elynora af Brasca Captain Captains are the 2nd highest official commissioned rank within the military only surpassed in official rank by Generals, though of course they also answer to the Secretary of Defense and the President. Alongside this, Captains (as well as Generals) can be granted the duty of Colonel, being the presiding officer over a regiment, however, this is not a true promotion, only an expansion of duty. There is 1 Captain for every active Brigade within the military, with no more than that number existing unless for specific exemptions such as special task forces or garrison commands approved by either a General or the Secretary of Defense. Captains are the presiding officers over a single Brigade, charged with its command, organization, discipline, and logistics with many also serving the dual purpose of garrison or fort commanders. Regimental Colonels: 1st Regiment: Captain Peter di Alessandria of the 1st Brigade Brigade Captains of the 1st Regiment: 1st Brigade: Captain Peter di Alessandria Lieutenant Lieutenants are the lowest-ranking field unit-grade commissioned officers, with 3 being assigned per Brigade, and 2 Lieutenants each being assigned a Platoon to organize with an Ensign and a Sergeant directly under them to lead the squad-sized elements. Alongside this, a 3rd Lieutenant position shall be made for Brigade logistics officers, however, this is considered either a waiting position for command of a platoon, or a dead-end position for Quartermasters who have reached officer ranks. While required to have strategic knowledge and competence, Lieutenants are more often responsible for running drills, ensuring the soldiers under their command are well trained, and leading smaller operations that are not to be trusted to Sergeants or Ensigns. 1st Brigade Lieutenants: Alpha Platoon: N/A Bravo Platoon: N/A Logistics: N/A Ensign Ensigns are typically young men and women who have joined the Officer Corps and are thrust into a training role. They are granted light command and administrative responsibilities to ensure adequate training when they have proved themselves and a lieutenant position opens up. To become an Ensign, an individual must purchase a commission for 750 Mina, as well as receive approval from a General or the Minister of Defense, however, one may join the military at this rank provided they meet the stipulations. (all proceeds shall go towards further military projects) [This fee may be waived in instances of exceptional conduct or acts of service. Or if the candidate comes from a sufficiently impressive family background.] Courtesy to Officers: All Officers shall be held in utmost respect and shall be addressed as such “You shall approach Captain di Alessandria to ask a question. After completing a salute you shall begin the conversation with “Captain di Alessandria.” Enlisted Soldiers: Sergeant The Highest obtainable enlisted rank and typically the career capstone of any capable soldier. Sergeants are typically the finest of the enlisted men and grizzled veterans with in-depth knowledge of command and training. They are the backbone of the fight as well, acting as Platoon’s preeminent enlisted official, and a direct advisor to the Lieutenant. Sergeants are eligible for 3 possible paths of promotion should they prove exceptionally capable. These being first, the Master Sergeant of the Brigade, an executive level position putting them as the chief Enlisted official in the brigade and directly advising the Captain. The second is the Master Sergeant of Regimental Drill, for those who find themselves exceptionally gifted at training and matters of drill with this promotion placing them on the Colonel’s staff and giving them the duty of overseeing all training and training doctrine for the Regiment. Third, and finally, should a Sergeant prove exceptionally capable, they may be offered a free commission as a Lieutenant. Master Sergeant of Regimental Drill for the 1st Regiment: N/A Brigade Sergeants of the 1st Regiment 1st Brigade - N/A Corporal Corporals are the first position at which a soldier receives command responsibility, assuming responsibility over a varying number of Recruits and Privates on the field of battle and in terms of training. Corporals are expected to be combat veterans and proficient in the use and instruction of their Brigade’s weapons and tactics so that they may be of adequate use to their subordinates and their commanding officers. Private Upon completing training, recruits obtain the rank of Private and from then on serve in their full capacity as members of the military. A Private is still young and inexperienced however, so they shall be overseen closely by their superiors and their skills honed to ensure their best use in the Regiment. Recruit The newest members of the SSA shall be trained and overseen by the lower officers and upper enlisted to ensure a comprehensive knowledge of combat, basic tactics, survival skills, and military drills and conduct. Signed and Issued by, His Excellency, President Parzifal af Brasca, President of the Republic of Salvo, Commander in Chief of the Salvan State Army.
