My public facing reply to this entire debate, is that we need staff to make a mechanical way to have ships work. Its been so long that the naval theater has been ignored and it makes me sad. However, should @Werew0lfbe interested, I would gladly have a sit-down with him and his naval peeps, along with the Dwarves so that we can all agree on how we want the naval aspects of this conflict to proceed. Perhaps with some precedents set and some user data on different approaches, we can actually develop a system for a real naval war. I get that it's not the easiest way to fight this conflict, however, the easy way isn't always the best way, or the way that is most conducive to proper and meaningful RP. If we want to do this the easy, 1v1 on Rust?
