  2. Is there like a RP name I need to change to such as Sera_Healer_Briamoth or something like that?
  3. Name: Briamoth. Title: None. Gender: Male. Age: 127. Very young for an Elf. Race: Elf. Occupation: Herbalist. Hobbies: Travelling, Reading, Herbalism, and Archery. History: Briamoth's life began at the Cloud Temple of Aegis just like any being who lives among us. He was of Elven parentage and lived in a distant land, far from either of the current four kingdoms. As a young child, he spent his days running through the woods exploring them and observing all types of nature. Plants, animals, and even some sea life. His parents, knowing how well he knew his way around, did not worry too much when he returned home late from his adventures. They believed that he had lost track of the time or was caught up in his exploring. That is, until one night, Briamoth did not return for many hours. His parents waited and waited, but there was still no sign of Briamoth. They were extremely worried and decided to look for him. Briamoth, on the other hand, was perfectly safe in the home of a hooded man who he had met in the woods. Not just safe, but comfortable as well. The man's hut was warmed by a roaring fire and the man was stirring a broth that was cooking over the open flame. Briamoth's parents called out for him. There was no answer. They traveled a little more then called again. Still no answer. His parents pursued him for many hours with still no sign of him anywhere. Then, out of nowhere, a voice reached his parents' ears telling him to return home and that their child was safe. They did so and to their surprise, Briamoth was already home. It was during times like these, that Briamoth gained his excellent sense of direction. His other skills were bestowed upon him from his parents' teachings. His father taught him the skills of hunting, tracking, and archery. They spent countless hours in the forests together tracking and hunting animals and practicing their archery skills. Briamoth was also very skilled with a blade which he was taught how to use by his father as well. His mother, who spent most of her time reading histories, taught Briamoth to both read and write. Later, he was taught a more complex vocabulary from both his mother and his own love for books. His parents loved Briamoth greatly and he knew this. They spent most of their time together sharing stories or just sitting by a fire. But, for some reason or another, Briamoth decided to just up and leave. He left no note, no warning, not even a good bye. He just left. Briamoth traveled the forests for many years, fine tuning his hunting abilities because if he didn't, he would not survive. He finally was able to build a small cabin in the woods where he could have a place to sleep and be protected from the horrible things that come out at night. When Briamoth, traveled during the day, he tried to stay away from people as much as possible. He was somewhat awkward when it came to meeting new people, so he decided to avoid the issue altogether. One day however, Briamoth heard of a place he knew was for him. A city called Laurelin found in the Holy Princedom of Malinor. It was filled with Elves who loved nature as well. There were trees as far as the eye could see, which is quite far for an Elf. He decided to find the place and try to gain admittance into the fair city. It was harder to find than he believed. It took him many years just to find the place, but he knew it would be worth it once he arrived to gaze upon its beauty. Finally, when Briamoth reached the age of 110, he found the city. It's beauty was beyond anything he'd ever imagined. The trees were beautiful, the architecture, the Elves. Everything was beautiful. He purchased a small home with the few Minas he had and finally felt he was where he belonged. As Briamoth began to feel more comfortable in his new homeland, he began to meet new people across all of Aegis not just Laurelin. He visited all of the four kingdoms and was amazed by each one's unique architecture and beauty. The people he met were very kind and helpful in his journeys. He joined a guild called The Dragon Riders, but realized they were not what he thought they were and abandoned them even after gaining the position of second-in-command. Shortly after this, Briamoth met a beautiful Elf name Soz. She was one of the most magnificent beings he had ever laid eyes on. He quickly grew fond of her and their friendship grew and grew. Briamoth, blinded by love, joined the Order of Sera, only wishing to grow closer to her. He even bought a home across from hers so that he could see her as often as he would like. Briamoth thought he actually had a shot with her and then he realized something. She was a courier. She would travel far and wide and he would have no idea where she would be. He realized he could not let this happen again. He could not lose another that he loved. So, he unattached himself from her completely. He quit the guild, moved back home, and pursued other interests to get his mind off of her. He retreated deep in the woods where no one would find him. He stayed there for a long period of time and many thought he had died or vanished. One day, Briamoth realized that people are not meant to live alone whether it be with friends or a lover, he would have to overcome his fear of losing someone. With the Undead's grip on Aegis growing, he knew that every moment he spent by himself could very well be his last. He moved back into Laurelin, began travelling again, and made more friends and promised himself never to leave this wonderful life he had that so many would give anything to have. And even more recently, he realized he could easily be taken from his homeland as the Undead had attacked Laurelin. Many were killed in the battle and he had just missed the battle and could have possibly been among those injured and slain. Briamoth now uses his knowledge of herbalism to help others because in a time like this, everyone needs some kind of help whether it be a friend or a doctor. He has vowed to protect the inhabitants of Aegis the best he can and to fight for Laurelin until the day he dies because while he and his comrades are alive, the Undead shall never rule over them. Briamoth soon realized he was wrong. He did need someone to be with. He realized that any moment could be his last and that no one would want to spend that last moment alone. He didn't just want someone, he needed someone. Whether it be a friend or a lover, he would have to find someone to console him in times like this. In a time where all of those he knew were slain by the Undead. The attack was foolish. He and only a few had managed to escape and return to Laurelin. All of them, shocked beyond belief. To see their loved ones killed was almost too great to bear.

  5. Hello, I have three sets of iron armour that I am looking to sell. I am asking for 650 Minas a set. So, contact me if you wish to buy one. Thanks, Briamoth
  6. Here's a map of Elvindale and the surrounding area for those who don't know where it is. (Clickable Thumbnail)
  7. I know. I'm moving to a new place in Elvindale that I like better. I guess that since it's a new place I had some second guessing.
  8. I should have moved there instead of Elvindale. I wonder if I could get my money back...
  9. Somehow, I have three mine carts so the first two people that want one can have them.
  10. I usually take the railway to Ravenhold. Then just walk the rest of the way. It usually doesn't take too long, although the price of mine carts is quite high.
  11. I was going to make a trailer for Laurelin, but the film was just too laggy so I couldn't.
  12. Wow, that sounds very dangerous. It's a shame that some had to return to the Temple. Well, anyway, I'm glad that you are safe now.
  13. Yeah, I have the same problem, so I just decided to buy them in bulk from one of the shops in Laurelin for 2 Minas per arrow. Quite the deal if you ask me.
  14. Ah, you use Paint.NET too? Anyway, nice job on the maps. I was trying to do this, but I didn't want to take the time. Thanks for this.
  15. Well, this is never an easy thing to do, but I've decided to leave the guild. I don't know what I'm going to do or where I'm going, but I don't believe I'll be fit to stay here any longer. I wish everyone who stays the best and I would still love to see this guild prosper. Thank you for the enjoyable experience, but I feel that I must leave. I will give up the title of Paladin and continue with my journeys in Aegis. Thank you, Briamoth
  16. I'm seriously considering moving here. How much does it cost to buy a plot? I think I spoke to someone who said it was 1,600 Minas, but I don't remember who it was. I know one house is listed as 8,000 Minas, but I haven't seen any other houses around. Any help would be greatly appreciated. -Briamoth_Paladin_of_The_Dragon_Riders
  17. Very nice. It gives a nice heavenly look. As you said, they do look a bit too tall. What dimensions are they?
  18. I have to say, this looks pretty awesome. Too bad I'm not an Ascended though.
  19. Very nice, indeed. Looking forward to seeing more.
  20. Sounds like you're having an adventurous time being a courier.
  21. I'm sorry I didn't make it to the event. I was in need of some much needed rest. (OOC: I accidentally fell asleep. XD)
  22. How do I even get to Haven? I would like to see it since it's now open.
  23. One quick thing, I know many Elves. Most of them either go hunting, trade, travel, or are in the city with the most of them falling into the former three categories. The Elves could have an army, but most Elves are into fighting that much until the time comes.
