I wasn't aware the 'community' ever stopped judging. They just don't get to put ban reports to popular vote : P

'Dusk cannot represent our community when she breaks the rules she is supposed to enforce.' That's two mutually exclusive opinions stated as fact. Has dusk certainly broke any rules? I would say no. Does this prevent her from being able to adequately serve the community? also no.

The GM's will decide whether any rules have been broken, and who is suitable to serve the community.

You might have heard of the term 'kangaroo court' GM's reserve the right to lynch people, it doesn't matter if you lay out a table of torches and pitchforks.

Honestly we already had a public post made, - it isn't really 'sweeping it under the rug'. Infact it isn't something we usually ban people for.

But then I feel this would not be best - The GM's can simply cop the criticism on the chin for the sake of the server. IT does get out of hand sometimes though.

We also don't display things for the person involved in the ban - though each ban is consistently questioned. Seemingly because the person banned always gives those around them the impression their ban was unjustified [i put this down to human nature]. This makes me question sometimes that banning shouldn't be an excercise in public shaming as players seemingly demand.

He was banned ingame as well after doing this for a 5th time -during- his ban which he should have respected.

Dennis is a compulsive liar who lacks empathy. The 'proof' was kept by request of those providing it. Despite warnings he harassed 4 different people on TS after being warned each time to stop behaving this way. He actively avoided his temporary TS ban [since this was the source of the problem] instead choosing to demand to speak to native. Screenshots are for the GM's records - ban reports are not designed to be public justifications or arguments - nor a case to be argued or voted on. It is not always best or desirable to display such things - in order to detect deception or protect those that report things from potential harassment and counter recriminations.

There was a log check though there aren't screenshots, and a some sort of Rape involving potions? Read it fully.

We don't and have never banned people on suspicion alone Austin. Regardless of how circumspect a public ban report is, or what the banned person admits [or rather omits] doing.

Drakehaze was banned for rape RP as far as I can tell. It's not comparable.

I really don't - I still consider what she did the worst thing I've ever seen on the server in 2 years and she never seemed to comprehend the gravity of her error - most disturbingly it looked like a pattern.

Being demoted from being a GM, and putting up with drama isn't what I'd class as 'punishment' - quite the opposite

There were no descriptions of clothes being removed - the Mori generally wore loin clothes.

Why does it deserve or require demotion? Theres no willful attempt to break the server's rules there.
