Considering the fact that I never really liked the Alras idea much in the first place, that might be a good idea acornlad.

Drakinroth stands at the cloud temple, pondering what the Prophet had said. In the back of his mind, he always thought the gods were manipulating all of us. Aeriel, Iblees; all just puppet master controlling the very strings that which we are bound. Drakinroth pushed to the front of the crowd, and tells the Prophet, "I am interested by what you are saying... Perhaps you could tell me more about how I could become one like you? One fighting against the strings of the gods?"

Do it vaq. I love the idea and don't mine downloading a simple .jar file. As long as it works on macs too I'm fine. :)

I have been thinking about this a lot the past night. I proposed this idea because Asulon needed something new and exciting; not just the Alras event, but the Asulon event. I find it a bit cheap that I plan out this thoroughly, make plans for where it would be located, make rules... But then have dozens of people say that my rules be used in a city. My side of this is that it is the Asulon tournament. Held not in a city, but in a completely neutral environment, that welcomely invites any and all people to come and visit. If Alras wishes to have a grand arena and have their own Asulon tournament, they can of course do so. But when I created this, I did not intend for the rules I made to be used for a city purely. Although I love Alras and understand it is a neutral environment with a grand arena, I still intend that this is built newly, to especially fit these events and audience, and I want the rules I created to be used in an arena I crafted with help. I am going to find a suitable spot in the wilds where this could be built. After thinking about this, I am still open to the Alras idea, but barely. If you have any other questions or concerns, post them here. I apologize if I came off rude to Alras, but that is simply not what I had intended for this awesome event. I will create something that will make this more suitable for the wilds, I assure you; and also just a touch up of all things. To put this simply, I feel as if I have created a great new invention that will be successful everywhere; I want to put my name behind it, tweak it, make a business out of it. But then, Google sends me mail saying they want to buy my invention from me. Although I'd love the money from Google, I kinda wanted to create and run this myself. After speaking with Syrio, I now understand Alras a bit more. I am going to visit there (for literally the first time since I've joined the server; I know, I suck :P ) and see if it is right for me. But, as the community has wished, I think I have decided that... Alras, it is.

Please get rid of these and replace them with something actually in the game, or with nothing at all. • I noticed that the main theme of your biography is very similar to the theme of the "Harry Potter" series. Maybe a coincidence; but, if it is not, could you make it a little more LoTC original? • Your answer to the bandit scenario could be considered powergaming. Imagine if that actually happened in game. • It sounds like you need a Villain application currently for your character. The fact that your character is trained to kill could be considered powergaming. Remember: You're coming into Asulon to develop a character, not as a developed one. Updated it with the new event form. I need you guys to vote, please. Even though I prefer this to be a completely neutral event held in a new arena, I'd rather the community decide rather than I making my own decision. Thank you.

As much as I am sure that your nation is neutral, I do not want this in a city of a specific race or faction. Even if it is neutral, the only place that truly is such is the Cloud Temple and the Wilds. As for my thoughts where this should be located: • Not in Alras (or any specific nation for that matter; if they want to hold an arena, they'll make their own) Either: • In the Cloud Temple district Or, my better idea: • In the wilds, with a fast travel boat going to it FROM the cloud temple. Those who cannot pay the small boat fee can walk an extremely long path. EDIT: To be honest, I thought Alras was a completely human nation this entire time; after reading up some of the Lore on the wiki, I am more open to holding these rules in Alras. However, my preferred course of action is what I stated above. This tournament could be a good test on the fast travel mechanic.

Perhaps we could Native. I'll ask some nation leaders and make a poll or something. When I get home from school in a few hours I'll do that, and make a few changes to this.
