Ooc: The High Elven State Of Play
radiomurders replied to Sporadic's topic in Asulon Roleplay Archive
I personally like how things are going so far, we may be small(ish) but we all get along and i don't know about the others, but I personally love the single subrace side of the town, it kinda does bring us all together and I actually semi felt like an outsider when I travelled to other cities, opposed to another char who travelled, but didn't really feel much pride or emotion in the character as it had nothing to long for or protect, apart from the wares he peddled rather sucessfully, which is why i killed him off The college gets used quite a lot i think, considering how many people we have and I do agree we don't want to make ourselves enemies by acting too hostile, but the biggotry works well, we have to hold our disdain when working with those we have yet to acknowledge as almost equals, which is an effort in its own -
I'm the only brit here who's posted D=

Excellent, I was expecting some overly large contraption which would take up half the library it's already so loud in there i've taken to reading at the farm, but that has a certain ellegance about it, and as said by others, should greatly allow knowledge to be distributed further, maybe to the point of the books being sold. We could even create books to hand out to Mali'Aheral, should we come across them in distant lands, explaining how to find us; possibly in basic elvish should it fall into the hands of one less pure

Referendum: Full Military Alliances

The thought of war heavily on his heart conflicts with the pride of any mali'Aheral and justly, Mali'Thill protecting the very right to maehr'sae hiylun'ehya "Vote in favour" he scribbles this down, in hopes the war is only to protect the people, be it pre-emptively or defensively Saran scribbles on another pieces of paper "should you need, I will provide emergency provisions for times of peril or war, you know where to find me, the college library or tending the farm Saran~" -

HAELUN'OR CITIZENSHIP APPLICATION: Name:Saran Truename ((MCName)): radiomurders Origin: unknown for a long time How can you declare you are Mali'thill:I have no bold claims nor ironclad proof, but after losing my home many kalem before, i've wandered many lands searching and learning, trying to find what feels right, i've always been drawn to elven nobility, only to find they dirty their hands with the politics of humans and orcs, treaties and diplomacy they feel aids their kind, thinning their heritage Why do you wish to become a citizen of Haelun'or: After a long search, i've finally found a place where nobility knows its place, proud and ready to uphold its more than powerful history. What is your personal vision for our blessed race: to further understand out history thus bettering our future through not necessarily dominance, but by superority What does maehr'sae hiylun'ehya mean to you: that the wisdom of the ages should be protected and nurtured, not only to follow the path of ancestry, but also to lead to the health and prosperity all mali'thill and mali'aheral are deserved What Elven phrase do you particularly take to heart? Please explain why: ehier'ito, to find within. I find this particularly meaningful as there's only so much others can teach you, it's your mind and spirit which determine how far you're willing to take something and how much you have to give to whatever you've dedicating youtrself to What is the subject of the first book you will submit to the college: Rebirth, how the old can influence the new bringing life, while maintaining clear sight of the future from the past What would be your reaction if you ever saw a human, orc and unknown Mali'aheral travel the roads from Alras together: I have learned best not discrimiinate publically, but my opinion would be that of distaste, having encountered so many mismatched groups of travelers who were so lost in themselves, they wandered as if they had no real homes to seperate to. What home would you like to receive: I would like the small hall (extra room) in the maherals niut Are there any other details about yourself you wish to relay to the council: You'll find me a lot either in the library, or sat under or around the notice board, sometimes sleeping, mostly just resting however. I've aquired a very strange love for apples on my travels though, so if you are in need of any, I shall most likely have some on my person.

Out-Of-Character: -Minecraft Account Name: Radiomurders -How old are you?: 19 -Time-Zone/Country of Residence: UK - GMT -Do you have a good grip on the English language/good grammar?: I’d say so yes -Small 2-3 Sentence Description of yourself: Currently in university studying graphics for games, hoping to eventually earn my masters and possibly go on to teach others -How much time could you be on the server weekly?:anywhere from 5-20 as an estimate, possibly more, -How long have you played minecraft?: since February -What do you know about roleplaying? How long have you been doing it? What kind?: haven’t spent a lot of time in character but I’d say I’ve ammased a good 50 hours+ in character over the years (doesn’t seem like much I know but it’s fun) -What do you expect this server will be like?: from what I’ve read and seen, nothing I’ve ever played on minecraft before ,expecting good things -What other server(s) have you played on and why did you leave them?: Super-earth – played it for a good few months, they were nice, good system and staff but not what I was looking for -Have you read, understood, and agreed to the rules? What about the lore?: I have, had a quick scan of the lore, but ill reread it again in depth soon -Name the 4 races on this server. Elf, Human, dwarf, Orc -How did you hear about us?: 4th on minestatus -Did you vote?: Will tomorrow, already voted today for a friends server -What was your favourite Law?: Outlawing combat in towns -What was your least favourite Law?: couldn’t say I had aleast favourite one, I understand laws are there to ultimately protect the citizens, even if it’s something they dislike – another reason I left SE, the players all sucked eggs and whined like little girls when things didn’t go how they wanted due to server rules they read when they signed up -What is your The Lord Of Craft forum account name? radiomurders In-Character: -Character Name: Wakka Elleray (known as El, I’ll establish that’s what they should call me in game if el is too short as an in game character name) -What is your Race?: Elf -Lordofthecraft.net/forum forum account: radiomurders -Biography: I started out life living with my parents in a book store, not the most glamorous of lives I know but surrounded by all these books, i never had a need for friends or social activites. I could immerse myself in wonderous worlds of fantasy, dragons, witches and goblins, take on dangerous foes and climb to heights noone every dreamed of all in the safety of my own little corner. Or so I thought. this was all a whimsical fantasy until I came across a specific book; old and tattered, covered in runes and some kind of old dust it seemed to have accumulated behind the rows and rows of books i've read many time. I started to read, slowly at first trying to figure out a lot of the ancient markings and symbols, like nothing i'd seen before in any books. I studied, interpreted and translated these markings as best I could, but only managed rough interpretations such as, "blink" or "heal". Since then, it's been 35 years and I've dedicated my life to understanding this book and its workings and in the process I've built a magnificent tower holding all my findings, runes, scrolls, libraries worth of books, all of which I'm imparting on the young and wanting. I cannot let this knowledge go un discovered, I have been sharing it with the world for 30 years now and will do till the day I die and then, my legacy will live on -Character Age: 75 -Character Appearance:around 6foot,pretty small for an elf, possibly because I was originally raised by humans after my village was overrun by orcs. blond ponytail reaching my elbows, not built, but not skinny either, due to lots of walking from town to town passing on my knowledge. I don’t look old either, mostly because I’m an elf and I plan on living for much longer. I have no distinguishing features such as scars or blemishes on my face due to my aptitude in white or healing magic, due to my lifetime of good deeds, my blue eyes sometime glow or emit a slight blue light when channelling the power of the light -Character Personality: Never been one for combat, which is why I specialised in white magic, I prefer to pass on my knowledge to others, that isn’t to say I can’t defend myself. My passive nature and understanding means I make friends quite fast especially when going to new places -Your ambitions: teach as many people about white magic as possible -Can your character read or write?: definitely -Can your character mine?: never had the time -Are you a capable builder? I’ve helped erect a few towers which I can show if you like -Can you wield a sword?: I can wield a book better but if I have to, I may be able to -Enjoy Farming?: That's one of the things I can do as I live off the land wherever I go and replace whatever I take -Does your character have any special skills?:] besides my eye to detail, nothing extraordinary, just things I have worked years to learn -A screenshot of your skin: Because the link to the download page is broken/missing, here is a different elf skin (taken from my SP aether .jar file) -Other Information:
