  1. Either or is fine, I do like this one though because it has all the nice pictures.
  2. *A backpack floats ashore near you and you decide to go investigate. After retrieve the pack you find a package of bandages and a notebook that has become nearly soaked all the way through. Stashing the bandages, you open the first page in the notebook, it reads . . . Mid-day,40 C Somethingwas wrong . . . I woke up washed ashore with nothing but a flashlight and a package of bandages. I know not how I came to be upon that beach, nor where I was before hand or where I was now. Such an odd few items to have stayed with me. I picked myself up immediately when I awoke- covered in sand and wet with salt water. I looked around, up and down the shore, but saw no one. A few buildings in poor condition lay down along road that stretched on for miles. I began to walk. Vacant would have been a nice word to describe my surroundings but I quickly discovered that that wasn't true. There are things here, hell I'll say it- Zombies. By the looks of them they have been dead for weeks, little assurance that brings. Weeks since the outbreak? How long had it plagued the mainland before coming to this rural shore town? And most of all, what had I been doing before washing up here? I must have been off well- warm cloths, a large backpack, bandages, a flashlight. What the hell happened? I strayed away from the beach and down the road. The exact direction is unknown, the destination unclear. For a while i thought I was alone so I took to a speedy jog down the road. But when I reached town I no longer had the luxury of free movement. I had to watch each step I took, each sound I made or they would get me. Fierce bastards. I was scavenging through a small home that had its doors busted in, looking for food or even a weapon. I suppose I made too much noise as right away a few visitors came to greet me . . . or eat me. They tried to barrel through the door but got caught on each other. Seeing the small window of escape I plowed past them but one of them managed to sink their dirty nails in my arm. Don't be fooled by the movies or old stories, those bastards can run. They chased me clear our of the town and only gave up when I broke their line of sight and ducked behind an old power generator. After that eye opener I was cautious as all hell. Crouched and crawled my way through every building and around every fence. Found nothing but garbage and a few rounds of ammo- waste of my damn time. Luck struck as I hit the last house in the little settlement; A can of Pepsi and a thing of cat food. Man o man, cat food has never tasted so good. I booked it on out of that area as screeches rung out from the middle of the town, I didn't plan on ever coming back after I heard that. Thought past using the roads as a guiding line to find more gear and some shelter, that's where they'd all be- just waiting to get me. I took to the shore line once more, occasionally stopping to rest on a rock facing the crashing waves. I saw a light house off in the foggy distance, I'd have to swim to reach it unless I found a boat that wasn't rotten or full of holes. No telling what I'd find once I got there- made a mental note to double back when I recovered more gear.Things were going alright for awhile- dropping in to a few random homes and collecting some food. Never found a weapon though, would've helped. I walked along the beach for several more hours until the scavenging prospects became none existent. Then I took to the hills .. . boy I wish I didn't. Never liked hiking, then again I only remember waking up on the beach and nothing more. Must have hiked for what felt like ages but the sun told me it was only an hour or so. Found some old ruins at the top of the ridge- a castle. Poked around inside and found flares and a handful of glowsticks. I was mighty thirsty and wouldn't you know, some shmuck left behind a filled canteen. Took a couple gulps and gave myself a small rest at the top of the tower. Didn't like what I saw. As far as the eye can see there was nothing. Ocean on one end and thick forest on the other. I shook my head and decided to wait a floor under to avoid those thoughts. Good things never last long. Damn head munchers found me! I had to book it down the hill, not even sure which side I came up on. I never looked back after that scare, jus tkept running and running until the ground leveled out . . . into ocean. I was so scared I even took to swimming! Swam right up to an island then kept on going. Heh, shouldve thought that one through. By the time I reached a new shore the sun was waning. The air grew colder by the minute and I was beginning to feel hungry once more. But, when I went to retrieve the cat food from my pack, I saw that Iwas once more left with nothing. I forgot to secure my items, left a few pockets open- the result of a surprise zombie attack. Back to square one except this time I didn't even have a flashlight, not that it mattered- never found batteries for the stupid thing. Up I went, through brush and trees up to the top. I thought the fates were finally giving me a break when atop waiting for me was a house. Shelter for the fast approaching night, a short break from the insanity that is a zombie apocalypse. I thought to myself, "It's not going any where, I should look around and try to find some supplies." Mistakes . . . you only regret them once you make them. I looked down from the elevated position and saw a long since abandoned boat pinned to the rock sea wall. It seemed worth a look, just a quick swim by for any floating goods. I made my way down and swam up to it- a large powerful that must have been nice during its time- nothing was aboard. I stepped up to see if I could climb on top of it, but when I put my foot up I slipped. My leg got caught between the rail and the ships cabin. I had no choice- I broke my own leg to get free. I struggled with it for half and hour before it just popped and blood started to pool around me. The worst pain I have ever felt, and I still had to swim ashore to patch it. Letting the current push me to the sandy safety, I did my best to suppress the bleeding but the damage was done. My sight began to fail me, my head throbbed, the world spun. I did my best to pull my self to that house on the hill. An hour of dragging a broken leg through brush and rocks, only to be let down. Zombies were already around it, three or so. That's my story . . . I am stranded on some god forsaken island- no food, water, weapons and now no hope. I assume I will die here under this tree if I am not found soon. Might still die even if I am found- not much one can do for a broken leg in the kind of environment. I am quite tired now, if I wake tomorrow I'll pray for a quicker death. - Jon Tillmon
  3. *Mirtok is handed a small flier by run of his runner Sariants. He takes it in his hand and reads its contents. Upon finishing he turns to his brother Lion and says . . . Darius, look at this! No word from Draco for nearly 40 years and I find out he was a damn oath breaker? For Celestia's sake, he went off and had a child knowing full well there was a celibacy policy among his brothers. Now this Draco Natus the Second thinks he can just erect his own band of motley knights; Using the same name for leader as we do but in common tongue; and by the goddess the boys in Oren will have a fit when they see that they call themselves knights. Give them time, if they become a problem for the Empire we will have to play cleanup crew. Such was the same for The Wolverines, The Crimson Pirates; The list goes on. *Lion simply nods at Mirtok while he returns to pouring over piles of scrolls. Mirtok mutters under his breath . . . Beliae doe Moedor Lent.
  4. There appears to be some confusion between us. Are you claiming that Hanseti killed innocent Renatians or Renatians killed innocent Hansetians? There have been many wars involving Renatus and simply calling the event you are referring to the Renatus war offers no basis for explanation. As for New Sorovitz; That town is under the control of me as I am the Duke and former king of Hanseti. The whole town is scheduled for a complete demolition as it no longer serves and beneficial purpose. Finally, I would not be the person to talk to in regards to a compromise. I am on Orders of Emperor Godfrey of Oren (King of Hanseti, Renatus, Salvus, and Seventis) to seek out and either absorb or destroy all guilds that are not under Oren. Make contact with the emperor for further details on the subject of your guild, talk to me if you have come up with an answer so that I may either march on your island or offer you a free ride to your new home.
  5. You have been given the option to either assimilate or die. I do not care for your sentimental reasonings behind the settlement of the island, I act on the behalf of King Godfrey and he demands your absorption. Do not condemn your people to a life of constant death, pain and destruction. Take my offer and join Oren, I do not wish to exterminate a group that desires adventure. However, if you continue to defy the demand, I will without hesitation raze your entire settlement and kill anyone whom has ever been under your name. But do allow me to clarify, joining Oren will not force you to disband. Godfrey simply requests that you move your group to the lands of Oren.
  6. *A scout from the Teutonic Order makes a copy of the note left behind and thus brings it back to be analyzed by Mirtok. Taking the note he then speaks to himself . . . They have ignored my warning and thus they must die. They attempt to flee and hide, hoping that I will forget them, but I will not. Perhaps this will be fun! A good -ol hunt to freshen the Spy Division up on their tactics. Go ahead little huns, hide and cower as we search Asulon for your foolish ranks. One of you will slip up and thus bring down the whole, it always happens. *Mirtok chuckles and sends the scout off with another note.
  7. ((Each head listed above can appoint sub heads for their many levels of production. In the case of the head of food, they can appoint a head of farming, head of livestock, head of cooking or head of gathering. Such is the same for the rest of them.))
  8. ((I'd assume the same way this thread is delivered, unless you wish to complicate things.))

In the name of Godfrey of the House Horen, the first of his name, Lord of the Human kingdoms and protector of the Realm; I Mirtok of the Teutonic Order, Duke of Hanseti and Warden of the south, Request that all members and it's leaders to assimilate the guild into the Holy Oren Empire- and move into its lands- immediately or face the full force of The Teutonic Order. Your response should be promptly decided and delivered; Failure to submit will yield actionary measures at the hand of The Order. May God have mercy on your soul.

  14. ((I wasn't implying I can kill your character off; You said that if you die you can handle it and I simply said that if you are dead you cant do anything.))

  17. The Teutonic Order Teutonic Foundations: Hanseti: The Order's Way: The Order was founded on the principle of reviving and restoring the Human kingdom of Oren to its highest potential. However, nearly a human generation later The Teutonic Order has since changed its role as a military force. We serve, protect, and govern the nation of Hanseti from all those who wish to harm her and her citizens. Currently the newest Hochmeister, third since Gaius, has made efforts towards improving the lives of Humans and siding in defending those whom are threatened by evils. For many decades the Order has operated in secrecy, working behind the scenes and only emerging to decimate the several guilds in Aegis' Oren. From its very beginnings The Order and its Sariants have lead a heavily militaristic life, adhering to the old customs of Gaius that were brought from his home land. Ancient hyms and songs were sung before battle, special traditions upheld on and off duty and a profound comradery was felt among Sariants and their order brothers. As a Sariant, you are expected to remain loyal to your Hochmeister and your fellow soldiers. Ever following them into battle with utmost courage and honor. Together you form a nuclear bond that transposed all other desires held previous to admittance. We are a military based, government force. Therefore we must both display great battle prowess and intelligence among our citizens. It is our first duty to serve the Hochmeister and second to uphold the realm. The peoples that reside in Hanseti are to be protected and assured by each Sariant. This means that not only must you fight off enemies from the home front but too settle issues behind borders. The Order has changed drastically since its early creations as a military force, now we have our own nation to protect and people who rely on our might for safety and stability. The Hochmeister is the leader of the Order, and therefore must be your top priority. He leads the nation internally and externally; On the field of battle and on home shores; transcontinental diplomacy and national relations. Though you are responsible for his life, he too is responsible for yours. The Hochmeister has the duty of making sure all his Sariants are well equipped, cared for, housed, fed and trained. All Sariants are provided free homes, free gear, and access to the Sariant Store House for any material or produce needs. Starting members are equipped with lower grade gear but the more you progress in the Order the more you are trusted, yielding better gear and higher privileged. The primary method of rank progression can be achieved through combat. Rank progression can only be issued by the Hochmeister. However, disobeying the Hochmeister will reverse your progression, leading to possible removal from events or increased workload. Remaining loyal and respectful to the Hochmeister and the other Sariants is important for each member. The Teutonic Order offers several positions that can be filled for any member who feels they are able to do so. Anything from Head of Defense to Head of Food, each position is important to the overall efficiency of the Order and the health of its members. As a leading nation power, the Order is responsible for many progressive projects in Hanseti. Therefore, there are many opportunities to aid the realm, aid the Order, and leave your own mark on the world. Each head of a department also needs sub-heads. For example, the Head of Food can have a Head of Farming or a Head of Livestock under them, the sub-heads report to the main division head for work and tasks. Members of the Order are expected to be the best that they can be. This means that every soldier who wishes to fight must be a master in their preferred weapon. The Order will train all those whom need it to be fit for battle and an experienced warrior. However, the Order also favors intelligence among its ranks. All Sariants of the Order have their university tuition fees payed for by the Hochmeister if they attend educational classes in Hanseti. The Teutonic Order wants the very best from their soldiers and is willing to guide along to your peak capabilities. The Order functions heavily on trust and community. Sariants are never permitted to steal from each other or citizens of the realms. Because everything a Saraint needs is provided, it is encouraged that all members work souly for the Order. It is possible to be granted special privileged for aspiring merchants or members of significant positions. Most of the material gained from mining, exploring, claiming, foresting or growing should be added to the Sariant Store House for all members to enjoy. The act of hoarding valuables or withholding battle claimed gear is greatly disrespectful to the Hochmeister, detrimental to the strength of the Order and against the Teutonic customs. Above all else, loyalty and integrity is a must. As a Sariant you are expected to be ready to give up your life without a moments hesitation to your brothers, Hochmeister and most of all, Emperor Godfrey. We do not operate on personal desires and selfish wants but rather collective progress and higher purpose. Though there is room for individual growth and success, each Sariant is must enact their duty and take care of their responsibilities first and ensure that the over all health and security of the Order is not threatened. Current Ranks (Highest to Lowest): Hochmeister OrdenMarschall Landmeister Grand Sariant Sariant Vicar Sariant Priest Sariant Knight Sariant Plebeian Available Positions: GroßSpitler (Head of Food) GroßTrappier (Head of Weapons/Armor) GroßKomtur (Head of Spy Division) GroßKanzler (Head of Records) GroßWache (Head of Defense) GroßMissor (Head of Detainment) GroßAshur (Head of Activities) As well as several sub-positions for each category above. Joining the Order: For many years the Order has sought individuals out and extended an offer to join their ranks. Lately we have opened recruitment to the public through an application and interview with the Hochmeister. If you wish to join the Order you can do one of two things; Fill out and application and have it delivered to a Sariant or the Hochmeister, or make your way down to a Hansetian outpost and seek out a Sariant or the Hochmeister yourself. It is strongly advised that an application is made for either of the options. Application: https://docs.google.com/forms/d/1qi-HkepDSLRKVHlwbFPy6IHghkX2wvWc0OjF1KBvI3Y/viewform After you fill out the form you may post in this topic or message a Teutonic Order member in order to achieve a speedy review of your application. ((Refer to this post: http://www.lordofthecraft.net/forum/index.php?/topic/53681-teutonic-order-recruiting/'>http://www.lordofthe...der-recruiting/ for further information on the benefits of joining the Order)) Culture and Location: The Teutonic Order has adopted their own culture apart from the conventional human kind. We speak our own language along with the common tongue, we uphold certain codes that have been implemented since our foundations. The Order lived in a constant winter in the safety of Wachter Stadt, the former Teutonic Hub. The cold made us hardy and strong, more resistant to weather conditions and sickness. Our colors are White and Black, always featuring a cross in our architecture, uniforms and flags. The standard architecture of the Order is Gothic in style, large structures of heavy strength and defense, primarily stone with refined stone trimmings. The housing aesthetic is redwood and wool, usually no more than two stories. We value Honor, loyalty, strength, intelligence, chivalry and justice. If you have any questions or comments please direct them to the Hochmeister (me) in the form of a personal message and he will get back to you with the best answer possible.
