MC Name: trocks614
IC Name: Percival Brandybuck Irongut
What position do you want to be?: Merchant Guild Leader
Tell us a little bit about yourself?: Ever since I was a wee lad in Al'Khazar, I was always passionate about m'coin, and coin always came my way. I've worked many jobs, the latest of which being the head Tavernkeep of the Maiden Head in Kal'Urguan, which I'm sure ya drank at some time or another. I've recently sold it.
How long have you been on this server?: Since August.
Would you be active as a leader of your guild?: Of course! I'm awake a good portion o' the Fortday, so you'll see me around quite a bit! ((I play a good bit every day))
What would you do as a leader to grow the economy of Kal'Urguan?: I'd make sure that the fine wares of our nation get sold and that all of our pockets are filled to th'brim with coin. I'd make sure we have both good supplies to sell and people to sell 'em, makin' new jobs and such. O'course, I'd expect some shares for meself, but that's another issue.
More specifically, I'm thinking we could:
Open ore shops and smithies in all th'foriegn cities
Make a central point fer trading within our own city
Give travelers a reason to come shop in Kal'Urguan
Open up more unique job opportunities, hopefully (brewing, engineers, etc)
Collaborate with th'other guilds to make lots of coin
I'm focused on creatin' a wealthy nation, as ya can see, and I assure you that I won't let you down!
How would you as a guild leader bring better Rp for the dwarves and citicens of Kal'Urguan: As I mentioned before, some more unique jobs like engineering supplies/services, real breweries, and other jobs very reliant on RP would be added. I think citizens would also enjoy a true bazaar where one can always find peddlers and merchants. A central marketplace would provide a meeting place, a profit maker, and an attraction for foreigners.
Have you had any experience being a leader?(If you do please tell what you led.): I have led some small businesses, the most famous being the ever popular Maiden Head Tavern. I've got that leadership quality, most say, and no doubt I could whip our merchants into a minas-making machine!
