Why did I deny you? Your ORQs were extremely short... Short answers in the ORQ section are not adequate. We need to know what your character sees, thinks, smells, feels and hears in that situation, to an extent that we are there, and we know exactly how your character would react if it were allowed into the world of Asulon. A problem with lore... You mentioned: The Nether was destroyed when the Axe was removed. It was the hive of the Undead, and when the power that was flowing through it was removed, it collapsed killing most of the expedition that were sent to obtain it. This outlines an obvious problem with your understanding of the lore, and I suggest you read more about the move from Aegis to Asulon, and the events close to those dates. Why did I deny you? Your skin was not downloadable... You need to upload a screenshort of your skin to an image upload site such as imgur, then copy and paste the link into your application. Your ORQs were in the future tense... You answered your ORQs in the future tense. Your character is there right now, in that situation, and he is acting right now. There is no 'I would' there is 'Bob IS'. For he is there, and he is in that circumstance. You need to roleplay as you would on the server, as your character would. He is there, what is he doing? Is he running? Is he fighting? He does not get to plan ahead, there is no ‘would’ there is ‘is’ and ‘are’. Present, not future. Your formatting was hard to read... You need to make this easier to read though. Use colours, use spaces to separate paragraphs. Fix up your formatting. There are many guides around the forums that portay how to do this in an excellent manner, showing how to use colours correctly, using spcaes and italics to overall give better legibility of the application. Your character is there right now, in that situation, and he is acting right now. There is no 'I would' there is 'Bob IS'. For he is there, and he is in that circumstance. You need to roleplay as you would on the server, as your character would. He is there, what is he doing? Is he running? Is he fighting? The ambitions you portrayed your character having were not mentioned in the biography and there were no supporting events, people or places that could have caused your character to aspire to those ambitions, to those dreams. Thus, this is not acceptable. A character that randomly has dreams and aspirations is not entirely authentic, and this could be used to powergame towards certain goals without events supporting it ingame. Why did I deny you? Your metagaming definition... Your metagaming definition did not properly show and outline what you need to know. Use examples, make sure that we are aware of your exact knowledge of the term, and how to avoid using it. Without that, we cannot accept this definition, because this shows that you may unknowingly use it ingame as you are not certain of the uses and meaning of the term. Your powergaming definition... Your powergaming definition was incorrect. This is a roleplaying server, where you make your own path, not an RPG where you select skills, grind mobs, etc. This is a server that we use our imaginations on! The form of powergaming you mentioned was the type only seen in RPGs. Our type of powergaming is more focused on player to player reactions and how these reactions play out. Wrong skin format... Your skin was not in the correct format. It needs to be a screenshot, not the skin.png file that you would upload to minecraft.net. To get a screenshot, press F5 tice ingame, then press F2. To access that screenshot, click Start, then search %appdata%. Select .minecraft, then go to the ‘screenshots’ folder. Bad Grammar/Spelling... Your english in this application was not the greatest. It included spelling and grammar errors. An easy way to fix this up is to first write up your application in a Word Document, then use the spellchecking feature. It should make your app much more legible. This is a roleplaying server, where you make your own path, not an RPG where you select skills, grind mobs, etc. This is a server that we use our imaginations on! The form of powergaming you mentioned was the type only seen in RPGs. Your metagaming definition was incorrect. Again, it did not show everything that it means to us, and thus, is not acceptable. You need to include examples, make us sure that you know what you are talking about. You answered your ORQs in the future tense. You need to know how to do it correctly, and thus, you cannot be accepted without us knowing that you know, what it means. You must answer all questions. You cannot leave out any question, as they all lead to your acceptance, and our knowledge of you as a possible member of the server. You need to answer and include all questions. Your ambitions were off-kilter. They need to fit into the world of Asulon, and fit into what we know about your character from your biography.
