We need to know what your character sees, thinks, smells, feels and hears in that situation, to an extent that we are there, and we know exactly how your character would react if it were allowed into the world of Asulon. Your powergaming definition... Your powergaming definition was incorrect. This is a roleplaying server, where you make your own path, not an RPG where you select skills, grind mobs, etc. This is a server that we use our imaginations on! The form of powergaming you mentioned was the type only seen in RPGs. Our type of powergaming is more focused on player to player reactions and how these reactions play out. I will not give you any further information, you will have to find that out yourself. Your metagaming definition... Your metagaming definition did not properly show and outline what you need to know. Use examples, make sure that we are aware of your exact knowledge of the term, and how to avoid using it. Why did I deny you? This app is extremely good, I enjoyed your writing style, but there are a few things that hold you up... First of all, your metagaming defintion... It was more related to the RPG style of metagaming. You have to remember that this is an RP server, not an RPG. Minecraft is not really an RPG, and we employ new rules in this RP server regarding metagaming and powergaming that you will have to find out on the wiki or an teamspeak. Why did I deny you? Your ORQs were extremely short... One sentence answers? Is that all that your character would do in that situation? You need to roleplay correctly, and adequately in these sections. You need to go indepth about what your character sees, thinks, smells, feels and hears in that situation. It allows us to picture your character, and shows us that you can roleplay. Without this knowledge of your roleplay, we cannot accept you. Your definition of powergaming was...strange... Your definition of powergaming did not make sense at all. It did not show us that you know exactly what it is and when it is incorrectly used, and even included swear words. You must know exactly what it means, and this can be found on the wiki of even in teamspeak. You need a last name... Unless their is a specific reason for you not having a last name, you need to have one. You need a skin... A skin must be included so we can know that your character skin will fit roleplay and people will not stand gawping at HoneyDew or Notch. You need a skin that fits your character, and that fits into Asulon. Your ambitions... Drink more than your friends? This isn't an ambition really, it's more of a small goal. You need to include life goals in this section that relate to your character. A 5 year old who survives a bandit raid, 9 days of walking and almost drowning? Your character could not have done those things at 5, that is godmodding. No 5 year old could survive that, especially when the rest of them died from exhaustion. Your English and formatting Your English was not great. You should load up a word document and spell check this. It will increase the legibility a lot. Also, the formatting was extremely ugly, all gray. Please try and fix that up, give it more legibility. Why did I deny you? Your skin was not in the correct format. It needs to be a screenshot, not the skin.png file that you would upload to minecraft.net. To get a screenshot, press F5 tice ingame, then press F2. To access that screenshot, click Start, then search %appdata%. Select .minecraft, then go to the ‘screenshots’ folder. Your biography was a tad short, not two paragraphs. You didn't talk about flaws, a personality or quirks. You must include all these because that is what makes your character a person, it is what makes him real. Why did I deny you? Your definition of powergaming... There are two types of powergaming, one in actual games, like RPGs such as Skyrim, where you are beating or ignoring storyline. That is the type you mentioned. But, in Asulon, we have a different type, a different form that we despise, that ruins roleplay. Look around, and I promise you, you will find the correct definition. Airships? Alright, you mentioned airhsips in your application, some examples: Airhsips have never existed in LoTC, thus, your whole biography needs to be rewritten or heavily edited. Also, your ORQs were quite short. Improve them, give me a paragraph of proper roleplay in each of them. This is the place you can show us what you will bring to Asulon in terms of roleplay. Your metagaming definition did not properly show and outline what you need to know. Use examples, make sure that we are aware of your exact knowledge of the term, and how to avoid using it. These also need to be included. Shows you can RP. There was no skin... You need to include a skin on your application. You need to upload a screenshot of your skin to an image upload site such as imgur, then copy and paste the link into your application. Your English wasn't great... Your english in this application was not the greatest. It included spelling and grammar errors. An easy way to fix this up is to first write up your application in a Word Document, then use the spellchecking feature. It should make your app much more legible. Your biography was a bit powergamey People, things, animals, everything has a weakness. Quirks, flaws, you name it, everything has their kryptonite. Your character didn't seem to have this trait, these weaknesses,, and because of that, it would be unfair to allow him to interact with other people, due to the fact that roleplay with him would not be fun. You have to be either an Elf, a Dwarf, an Orc or a Human upon entering the server. There is no 'caucasian' subrace. Each race has their own original and unique subrace, like a Wood Elf or a Southerner. You need a skin... Why did I deny you? A skin was not apparent... There was no skin in your application. We need to know what your character is going to look like, and if the skin fits RP properly. We need to know that it isn’t a superman skin or a HoneyDew skin. It has to fit roleplay and into the world of Asulon. Your character did not have any flaws or weakness, or none were outlined...
