The form of powergaming you mentioned was the type only seen in RPGs. You speak of a 'far away land'. There is only Aegis and Asulon, there are no other huge islands. Your character cannot be sailing from a land that does not exist. You answered your ORQs in the future tense. Your character is there right now, in that situation, and he is acting right now. Why did I deny you? Short answers in the ORQ section are not adequate. We need to know what your character sees, thinks, smells, feels and hears in that situation, to an extent that we are there, and we know exactly how your character would react if it were allowed into the world of Asulon. Your biography included instances of powergaming. A child at that age could not use a weapon efficiently, let alone, pick one up. A 5 year old would have to be seriously twisted to assassinate people. Your biography was also cliche. We are looking for imagination and creativity in roleplay. Why did I deny you? First of all, and probably the biggest thing you had wrong, was that your biography included 'powergamey' elements, such as a 6 year old hunting deer. It also did not follow the lore regarding the move to Asulon, as your character is '19' years old. We have been in Asulon for much longer than that, around 30 years I believe, and a number of issues come from this: One sentence responses are not adequate in the ORQ section, we need to be able to know that you know how to roleplay, and we need to know what your character sees, thinks, smells and feels in those situations. Why did I deny you? Getting better, gettting better. Alright, first off, your definitions were somewhat correct /but/ we need to know that you know EXACTLY what you are talking about. Give examples, expand expand expand. Let us know that you would never break the rules of metagaming and powergaming, and that you understand what roleplaying is to a very high degree. Secondly, your ORQs. There is no 'I would' it is 'Bob is' or 'Bob runs up to'. Future tense is not acceptable. Your character is there, in the moment. This moment is not happening to him in the future, it is happening to him right now. They also need expansion and much more detail.
